“It was a wedding banquet of 200+ guests. The menu chosen by the host families was excellent and deliciously cooked, well served by the staff. We totally enjoyed the meal. The only thing was that we weren't able to hear most of what was going on since the sound system was not loud or comprehensive enough for the whole party...
It's very hard to find the place and even with Google map's help...twisting and turning to go to the parking... The restaurant sign was not bright at all so people missed it. After dinner, it was late and the parking lot was not well light, roads were dark... Not good.“

“Spacious, quality food and decent enough decor makes it a gathering place for an upper-end Asian meal in Surrey“

“We’ve been here for dim sum a handful of times, and the food is consistently great. Service has always been good as well.
Unfortunately, during our most recent visit, we ordered the hot and sour seafood soup and found a very long black hair in it (and we are all blonde). We let our server know right away, and they were very apologetic and removed the dish from our bill.
That said, we were a bit surprised that nothing further was offered—no small discount or even a dessert on the house. While we appreciated the apology, it felt like a missed opportunity to go a step further in making things right.
A bit disappointing, especially when the “extra ingredient” definitely wasn’t something we ordered.“

“Food is good and fresh.
But be careful with the gift card promo. If they know you’re using a gift card, they’ll say they don’t have smaller sizes (like crab, king crab, or certain fish), and then push you to order bigger, more expensive ones.
You end up spending more than you planned and getting way too much food that you can’t even finish. Kind of feels misleading.“

“We had a lucheon provided by our agency for about 20 people. The assortment and quality of food was top notch. The food was hot and fresh with an abundance for seconds and thirds plus left overs. lol Everyone was very satisfied. Thanks to Chris and also the staff at Top Wok!!!“

“Lee Garden is a reliable choice for classic Cantonese seafood and dim sum. The ingredients taste fresh, portions are generous, and dishes come out quickly, even during busy hours. Dim sum is consistently good, with a wide selection, and the seafood dishes are well prepared and flavorful. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size, and the dining room is spacious and comfortable, making it a great place for family gatherings or group meals. Service is efficient and friendly. Overall, a solid neighborhood restaurant that’s easy to come back to.“

“Congee Noodle King is a classic spot back in the day when you wanted some good “sui yeh”. Since COVID, the closing hours have been reduced but you can still have a decent bite to eat!
If you’re in the mood for delicious congee (which they have the craziest variety of) and satisfying noodle dishes like the swirly egg shrimp noodle, this is the place! They’ve done some recent renovations to the place and added more tables. Previously, it was a bit dated and I’m glad they added some more spots as the restaurant tends to be a bit overpacked.
It’s a place where you can expect generous portions, reasonable prices, and consistent wok hei flavoured dishes. Beyond congee and noodles, the menu also includes a wide range of Cantonese-style dishes such as stir-fried vegetables, fried rice, seafood and a variety of the classic sweet and sour pork/chicken, fried proteins and soups. My go-to dishes are:
Swirly egg shrimp noodle
Salty fish and chicken fried rice
Sweet and sour pork chops
Seafood Chow Mein (crispy)
Beef Tendon and Beef Brisket with Noodle
The service can be hit or miss, sometimes they are so busy you may not get a tea refill or get your order in. A majority of reviews I find always complain about the “service” or servers being rude, but that’s just how they come off to be. They are trying their best and English is not their first language, so please be patient and nice to the staff!“

“This is our go-to restaurant whenever we don’t know where to go, we know the food here will always satisfy our cravings! I highly recommend the clay pot rice, it’s a must have! The rice is crispy on the outside and so flavourful with their customized sauce and meats! Just make sure to order it right away since it takes about 30 minutes to make.“

“Friendly family run breakfast noodle shop located in the food court attached to T&T in Surrey.
The prices here are very decent and the front counter team is very friendly. They usually have a decent sized line of people - so be prepared to wait a little bit.
It’s good to satisfy a morning noodle craving.“

“This is our go to whenever we have small or big family gatherings. Fortune City has a good variety of Chinese dishes, ranging from soups, noodles, rice, vegetables and protein!
The dishes do have the “wok hei” which is something im always looking for when I try out a new restaurant. They have been consistent with their food quality and service. The reason why I gave it a lower score on the atmosphere is the restaurant is quite dated and the interior hasn’t really changed for many years. The bathrooms, especially for the men’s, can be cleaned and maintained a bit better. The chairs and tables are fine, but at times the seats have big stains or tears. Again, nothing to do with the food but does affect the overall rating!
Their dinner sets are pretty good if you have a big group. The noise can get quite loud but expected especially during peak dinner hours or on the weekends. My recommendation is to book ahead of time and reserve a table. Dim sum is also good here, though the only drawback again is sometimes when it is busy, even when you have reserved a table, you might get put on a wait list still. There aren’t too many good spots in Vancouver left like this place, I would recommend it overall to anyone, both new to Chinese food or have been looking for anther place to add to their go-to list!“

“One of the better BBQ Pork, Char Siew and Octopus in Vancouver. I haven't tried regular dishes as not the kind of places that I want beside the BBQ foods. Waitress is a little chaos as they really not too organized. Noisy joint so probably better just to takeaway.“

“Great little cantonese eatery. This place is as close as you can get to matching Hongkong street stall food taste. I especially like their breakfast menu where the various options are affortably priced. I suggest you get there well before lunch time in order to get a parking spot and a table.“

“Excellent and courteous service. Very clean premise. Price is very reasonable. First time coming to the restaurant and had a take-out. Unlike other restaurants, she right away opted out the tip option for card payment. She asked me to have a seat and provided me a cup of hot tea. Very impressive.
As there are many customers eating in, I believe the food must be good as well.“

“Very happy we dropped by this neighborhood hk style cafe.
Noodle soup with beef and tendon in preserved duck egg soup ... one of the best i have had in the last 5 years..big portion and lots of fresh mushroom and Napa vegetables. Noodle soup with hk style milk tea only $17.95 is a good value these days. Comfortable seating..“

“We love spending our weekend as a family at Copa. Great atmosphere for bonding time, good food with lots of variety, reasonable prices. Especially love their mini set, trust me the portion is not mini but generous. And milk tea is just always good quality 🤌🏻
It has become a family thing since the boys are born.“

“LOVE the food and the service. Been going there for years. Big portions, great prices.
*edit* I’ve always had great service there, until yesterday. We had finished eating and I went to pay “the waitress looks at me after I paid and said ‘no tip?’ To which I replied “no, you didn’t even come and check if the food was good or if we needed a drink or anything” to which she then went on complaining to her co workers about me not tipping, in their language btw.“

“The freshly made double egg and pork rice rolls were quite delicious. I like them plain but some soy, sesame and chilli sauce will add another dimension to the dish. I found the portion to be sufficient for lunch, especially with the extra egg. Not the best rice rolls I've had but it's pretty good.“

“Still enjoy coming to this location. It’s spacious, easy parking, and the window seats have a nice view, which is always a plus.
The food is pretty consistent—nothing over the top, but solid overall—and service is reliable. I used to really like their signature desserts, especially the LV bag–shaped one that was super popular, but it seems they don’t offer it anymore.
Compared to other dim sum places, their plating stands out a bit more and feels less generic than the usual plain white plates. Flavour-wise, it’s about average, but as a chain in Vancouver, you know what you’re getting and the quality is fairly dependable.“

“It wasn’t even on the menu but they were so kind, they made this out of my idea👍🏻
The roasted pork was perfectly crispy and rich of moist(I don’t understand for those who said it’s dry lol, it’s juicy). I recommend wontons(only when they’re in the soup).
Talking about flavors, honestly, I expected to get more flavorful taste from the pork and noodle(good thing they have condiment aside on the table)…but the warm soup was so comforting.
The waiters are all Chinese and some are pretty old, I gotta hold a bit of my patience tho😌
Btw, this is what I ordered: Roasted pork on top of the noodles&wontons with the soup aside(22$)“

“Another solo weekend dim sum brunch, I was in the metro town area, that’s why I picked this one. Haven’t been here for a while, I remember they are not bad. I’m glad that they are still that way.
Food is pretty good similar to the level in Richmond and Hong Kong, may be a little bit below, but still pretty good.
Everything came out hot, Sui mai is pretty good, the BBQ pork rice rolls were good as well.
Service was ok, typical Chinese restaurant service level.
Decor is a bit dated. But overall presentable.“

“My husband and I stopped in at Han Lin Noodle House last Saturday after a little walk along the waterfront, and we were so glad we did. The beef brisket noodle soup was absolutely wonderful - rich broth, tender meat, and a generous portion that kept us full for the rest of the afternoon. The staff were warm and attentive without being overbearing, which we always appreciate. If you are in New Westminster looking for a satisfying, no-fuss meal, this is the spot.“
