“This is one of the best coffee experiences you can get in the lower mainland. Emphasis is on the coffee. Come here to enjoy a quiet time by yourself or with a friend-no laptops allowed (always a good sign). On one occasion, I could hear the owner and barista chatting about coffee beans etc while they were tasting sample beans behind the counter (another good sign). I get the flatado here (bigger than cortado, smaller than flat white). The drink itself is excellent. The espresso’s fruitiness really cut through the milk leaving a pleasant, sweet aftertaste. I was genuinely surprised. Thought has been put into the roasting and bean selection for their in-house blend. The beans they sell are reasonably priced and there’s other assorted coffee equipment for purchase. Parking situation can be a bit of a pain due to the location, but it’s worth the short walk to spend time here.“

“Bon Bon Café is such a lovely find in Richmond. Their mochi is delicious, the service is wonderful, and the smoothies are all natural with no artificial flavours — I had the avocado banana one and loved it. Definitely worth trying, and I’ll be back again.“

He has a warm and welcoming smile and invites you in with his deep voice and bright personality. However, he is not to be ignored or taken for granted... take time to meet this gem of a man, don't be "selfie" (cell phone) absorbed when you enter his domaine, or you will miss out on the richness of humanity. “Chanced upon this beautiful, cozy cafe at Brighouse. The service and ambiance were wonderful. I ordered an iced hojicha oat latte and ube loaf, both of which tasted delicious! While I like my hojicha latte sweeter, it was definitely made of high quality ingredients. The ube loaf is a must order too! It had a strong ube flavour, vibrant colour, and was deliciously soft. I'll be back to try more.“

“I recently visited Cafe & Life Co., and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The café has a beautifully designed interior—bright, clean, and modern—with a calm atmosphere that’s perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a relaxed afternoon. It definitely has that stylish, Korean-inspired aesthetic that makes it very photogenic.
The food was delicious and well-prepared. The shrimp salad was one of the highlights: fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor, with juicy shrimp, avocado, radish, and mixed greens creating a great balance. The pasta was cooked al dente and had a nice, mildly tangy tomato sauce. Their drinks were also impressive—especially the matcha latte and tiramisu coffee, both beautifully presented and not overly sweet.
However, the main downside was the long wait time. Despite the café not being overly crowded, the dishes took quite a while to arrive. Additionally, the portion sizes are on the smaller side, so those with a bigger appetite may find them less satisfying.
Overall, Cafe & Life Co. offers tasty dishes, great presentation, and a lovely atmosphere, but be prepared to wait a bit longer for your food. Still, it’s a charming spot worth visiting for a casual meal or coffee with friends.“

“Ordered the Tofu Pudding Black Milk Tea and Purple Yam Fresh milk green tea.

A rare find (for me) to see a boba place with tofu as a topping so I was happy to find it on the menu. The milk tea tasted more like soy milk but I was ok with that. You can really taste the green tea from the purple yam drink and is a bit grainy from the yam. I would pass on that drink next time.

The place has a kiosk to order from but you can also order at the counter. The workers didn't really interact with us when we got in and ordered - one of them brought our drinks over which was nice of her.

They have some unique drinks that I'd still want to try. I would visit again if in the area.“

“A good place to drop by and have a snack in Steveston. We got the Tuna Kimbap and the Strawberry Croffle (the owners gave us 2 free Bungeo-Ppang as well - Nutella and custard). The croffle and bungeo-ppang were light and crispy but we wish the croffle came with more strawberries. The Tuna Kimbap was a good snack but a little pricey.“

“Berry Good cakes are very delicious. I've been here over the years and their cakes are always full of variety and good quality. This time I ordered takeout and got the crepe layered cakes in 4 flavors: chocolate, Oreo, chestnut and Earl grey. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to the cake pricing in other places these days. Will continue to support wonderful local small businesses like Berry Good.“

“I went to this shop twice, when I first saw this shop I don’t know it’s a bubble tea shop but luckily I saw the post on the window there is a draw of bubble tea and bubble waffles.I don’t think many people are going into this shop because they don’t know what this shop is for, emmm might need to change the name of the shop so people will know this place have bubble teas.“

We came back this morning and explained to the staff what had happened and they generously offered us our pastries. Really appreciative of the staff as we were very excited to try the pastries but were disappointed when we found out we forgot them

“Love this place for a treat. My favourite is the sasuage, tomatoe egg mcmuffin. It's delicious, and the nanaimo bars. Also the egg bites, I love that you can just buy one as sometimes, you just want a quick bite. The coffee is good as well, I usually get a cappuchino, the caramel macchiato could use a bit of smoothness as the flavour is a bit harsh with the caramel and coffee together it might need a bit more blending. One employee let her get her paws on the sales counter to have a proper meeting.
