“Absolute wast of money, spent over 50$ on their pre packed sushi to go, and when we opened it up (after already leaving the mall) i was overpowered with the sent of mold. So also a health hazard as we got this to share with our toddler I’m so glad I was able to notice the mold before he ate any of it. Will definitely not be going back there again. Not at all impressed :/“

“We love this Japanese restaurant for the high food quality, high staff quality, reasonable prices in today's market & location! Today, I tried the Nigiri Lunch and loved it! My husband had the double meat chicken teriyaki and some of mine cause it looked so tasty, and it truly was scrumptious ! We started with the Crae crae roll (shared). In my Nigiri lunch, I upgraded the salmon to sockeye, one dollar more, but worth it! The miso soup was perfect for us as we watch our sodium and they only use low sodium soya sauce! The combination of food, service & cost is why they get 5 stars! Any staff we saw were very friendly & said hello & goodbye. Customer service is top notch! Aside note, their green tea is one of the best we've enjoyed, too!“

“My son and I enjoy coming to Bistro Peekaboo! We try and make it a weekly thing since it is super yummy and conveniently located across from his Taekwondo classes. Sometimes, we even able to get in 10 mins before they open when his class is over.Their sashimi, sockeye salmon is Very fresh and delicious every time.I've enjoyed a bunch of different rolls here, and they are all good. A few of my favs are Mango cream cheese roll, crispy pineapple roll, spicy salmon roll, yam tempura roll, miso soup, salmon sashimi and of course saki and Asahi beer!“

“Since hubby misses Japan (the food especially) immensely, I decided to bring Japan to him for his birthday! It was more than we could've hoped for from the gracious hosts, Chef Ray and wife Christine, to the gorgeous presentation of each course, the preparations of each item, the texture, the taste and the cosy atmosphere. We savoured each bite, while enjoying the friendly banter between the hosts and a couple of their regulars at the bar seating. Highly recommend! side note: I was impressed by just how meticulous and thoughtful they are when I saw they even put a little decor under the washroom sink.“

“The place is neat and tidy.
Staff are friendly.
I love the Udon. The taste was good.
Kid's menu portion was generous when compared to my udon. 😆
The salmon sushi was great, too!
This is a Janpanese restaurant runned by, I believe, Korean.“

“Really enjoyed lunch with the curry tendon on rice. Staff was friendly and had a very nice atmosphere. Pleasant Japanese music was playing in the background. Each table had a small traditional dish of pickled daikon. Yummy. Street side parking just outside“

“I went to Tsawwassen Mills and stopped by while looking for a nearby sushi place. It was more delicious and fresh than I expected, so I had a good time! My daughter told me that she’d like to come on her birthday again! May be…I could come again even thoght it takes 50mintutes to come. 😅😊😊
I have only this picture since we were busy to eat after this…“

“Lovely little Japanese place hidden away. Kind and friendly staff. Quick service. Clean kitchen and sesting area.
Hubby and I ordered 2 Asahi, 1 spicy salmon roll, and salmon oshi.
One negative would be the washrooms. They were clean but they looked very old. No hook to hang a jacket.“

“Good food, although a little high priced. The atmosphere is warm but the restaurant seating area is extremely restricted and very small. It was not too busy so it was not a problem. But something to be aware of. They would not be able to accommodate a large group.“

“The background music was too loud so we asked to sit outside under the covered patio. Much better. We ordered edamame, prawn tempura both excellent. I ordered the soft shell crab California roll. It was nice but nothing spectacular… I just wanted to sample the crab. The salmon sashimi and teriyaki chicken bento box looked quite appetizing. The pear dessert was ice cream shaped like a pear then dipped in chocolate.“

“first time here for AYCE lunch, I find the place very clean, and staff friendly. Food is overall very good, I like the sushi, sashimi, BC rolls, salad, chicken teriyaki, futomaki, tempura, and ice cream. The miss are sunomono too sweet lack vinegar, goma salad too salty, and that thirsty feeling from MSG (which I have no idea from which items). Yes I will go back again :)“

“Parents frequent here more than a few times per month, but mostly because they like the bit oily stir fry items on the menu.
The Korean spin on the recipes of certain sushi combos are interesting, but nowadays they come so heavily sauced to a point where I have trouble distinguishing the ingredients.
The sushi and sashimi isn't altogether too fresh, sometimes they come still with bits not thawed out. A few times my entire tray of tuna sashimi combo was served frozen.
Since 2022, you'd start to notice that the portions are alot smaller, and the cost cutting have become really visible. Especially more noticeable on takeaway items, based on more than 20 times taking out in recent years, just don't do takeout.“

“Taste of the sushi was excellent however they are quite limited on what they had available that wasn’t sold out - we arrived around 12 and a large selection of the menu was already sold out. It is a small restaurant with around 6 tables. Overall their fish seemed really fresh - the madai was excellent. The adegashi tofu along with the shrimp tempura also tasted incredible.“

“**UPDATE
Ordered again last night, I avoided the karaage so it wouldn't sway my opinion. The rolls (both special and regular), tempura, ebi mayo and yakitori were fresh, and delicious! My partner ordered the beef teriyaki and said it was great as well! Just don't order the karaage.
Original post:
Volcano roll was good (very good!), yakitori was ok, a bit over cooked with very little sauce. Chicken karaage was absolutely horrible. Bland, over breaded and just really gross flavour and texture. A chicken McNugget (which I hate), would have been better.“

“Good Chinese food! Lots of choices here. We typically order sweet and sour pork, soy sauce chicken, and broccoli with either beef or seafood (picture has this one).
We also like the fried rice and noodles too.
Plenty of parking in the mall, but you should make a reservation if you plan to come for dinner or on weekends because they can be full.“

“Parking: Located at the Garden City outdoor Mall. Aria has its own entrance.
Lunchtime had a good sized crowd. Aria also does a lot of takeout out and pick service.
Kid-friendliness: Seen a lot of families with kids here.
Wheelchair accessibility: Located on ground level so appeared wheelchair accessible.“

“The Best Sushi Spot!
Everything was exceptional, from tempura to sashimi and rolls—nothing fell short.
Dining at the large wooden table with the artwork on the walls made the experience even more enjoyable.
I especially recommend trying the Volcano Roll; it’s a must!
I think I’ll come back every time I visit Vancouver. Absolutely amazing!“
