“Dabao is DaBOMB. Went for dinner there last night. I am visiting from Vancouver and so needed to try tried all of Emily’s signature plates. Each plate was better than the next. Flavorful, fresh and just absolutely delicious. And the spicy condiments were sooo good. This is not your average food court fare. Not only is this the best option at the Metreon, it’s up there with the best options in town. They also cater and you can order through all the delivery apps. Try it and you will not be disappointed.“

“Long time customer here. The flavors are always on-point, yum! Highly recommend Shwe Taung Noodles, the curry chicken is rich, a little sweet, and perfectly balanced with all the seasonings and spices. Samusa Salad is also an easy choice with spot-on flavors all the fixings. The service is top-notch, probably because the owner is very involved in how it runs. Simply fantastic!“
“I recently had Jason cook for my 40th birthday backyard/pool party for ~18 adults and he was phenomenal! Not only are his paellas and tapas incredibly tasty, he is also an all around great person. We had the paella Valencia moderna and the vegetarian paella and both were excellent, even better than the paellas I have had in Spain. My friends/family are still raving about his food! The presentation of everything was very impressive and really elevated the already exceptional flavors of all the food. The booking process was also seamless, Jason is an excellent communicator and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Chef Jason and his paella for your next special gathering! Thank you again Jason! :)“

“Motivat did the barista services for a private event I attended. The coffee was delicious, full bodied with tons of flavor. Later on I had a Chai Latte, creamy and very flavorful. Customer service was top notch, friendly and efficient. Really impressed with how professional this company is. Highly recommend this business!“

We thought we had a reservation made, but when we arrived what we had and what the host had didn’t match—it was so wonderful of them to make room for us during a very busy night. “We hired Margaret Riesen of The Vegetarian Gourmet for a private family celebration in Martinez with about 30 guests, and she did a fantastic job. The menu included Italian-inspired vegetarian dishes like eggplant parmesan, herbed pasta, roasted vegetables, and a small selection of meat dishes for family members who wanted them. The food was warm, comforting, and visually stunning. Margaret handled everything smoothly, allowing us to actually enjoy our time with guests. She is an excellent choice for intimate gatherings or larger parties alike.“

I had to wait sometime for the syrup because I got my souffle (takes longer than other food to prepare they warned ahead of time) before the syrup came.“

“Wonderful experience with the Revel meal delivery! The food was DELICIOUS and prepared perfectly. The whole family (including 5 kids) enjoyed it! The menu was creative and I could customize our order - double orders of protein and single orders of vegetables. They provided a touchless delivery with all of the items clearly labeled with ingredients (in case someone in your house is dealing with allergies) and clear instructions on how to finish the preparation. And to top it off, not only was the delivery on time, they texted me with a 20-minute heads up text so I would know exactly when my delivery would be on my door stop. For me, I was grateful for that extra effort so our food didn’t sit out in the sun.“

“Burke & Black served it up for us at our event. We had unique, rich, and amazing charcuterie boards for our Black & Brown Founders Fundraiser. I was hosting the event and when I finally got a chance to eat, everyone was actively grazing over the options and trying everything. I was feeling impatient about not being able to get to the food, but happy to see everyone enjoying it. Nicole is amazing and she really picked some unique varieties that come together so well. Based off our experience at our fundraiser event, I highly recommend her.“
“Oded and the wonderful staff at Jasmine Catering brought our dream wedding menu to life, and at an unbeatable price! We had a tighter budget than some, so finding full service catering was a challenge, but Jasmine was everything we needed without all the frills, add-ons, and overhead other caterers include. Oded was responsive during the planning process, despite our very long email chains with lots of detailed questions. Our venue was Fern Cottage in El Sobrante, which required a lot of DIY and figuring things out ourselves. Jasmine Catering was easy to work with through an otherwise challenging planning process, and their day-of process was streamlined and didn't get in our way, even though it was a small venue and kitchen. We did a custom menu including their secret recipe falafel and a vegan version of kofta kebab. Everything was delicious, cooked and served beautifully, and our guests liked it just as much as we did. Everything came out exactly on time and where/how we wanted it to be served. Doing a budget, DIY wedding was stressful enough, and it was such a relief to know everything on the catering side of things was handled and running smoothly!“

This was an important event, for 60 people in our home, and, in no small part thanks to Jordan, was stress-free. He also comped us a tasting ahead of time at the restaurant on Fillmore, which enabled us to make a couple of changes. Oh, and did I mention that the food was delicious?“

“Nice little date spot with a cozy vibe. Food was good and the service was quick and friendly throughout the night.
We tried:
• Pad Thai Tofu — recommend but their Tofu isn’t deep fried like some other places. Maybe Inquire or push for this if it’s important.
• Mushroom Dumplings 🥟 — also recommend
• Mango Sticky Rice — decent; not the best I’ve had, but still enjoyable
• Deep Fried Veggie Rolls — pretty good
• Thai Iced Tea — solid and refreshing
Overall, we had a nice experience. The food was tasty, service was attentive, and it’s a great casual spot for a date night.“
