“I lost count of how many times I've been here. It's one of my favorite restaurants in OC!Food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. They had a new dessert last time I was there: banana split. It was fire! The ambience is very relaxing and the decoration is cute.“

“I highly recommend this hidden gem here in orange county. The fish and the quality is top notch. Super reasonable. The waitress and owner was very polite and their so welcoming. I had to order the sushi about 2_3 times. It that good. The ramen is very fresh and so yummy. We are recommending this spot to all our clients friends and family. Great aesthetic and very clean place. Free sake with your order. I really enjoyed my time.“

“Fantasic staff! They are always so friendly and helpful! They always remember us when we come in. The shabu is fantastic. The broth selections are wonderful and you can mix and match! Produce is fresh, lots of beers on tap. Only critisism is I wish they would change their chairs, they aren’t comfortable; the food is so good though it’s worth being uncomfortable!“

“Stopped here on a whim cause we were passing through the area. Glad we did. Ordered the chicken/steak bowl and it's super flavorful. Service was super friendly. Sad they weren't more packed but we may have just come at a non busy hour. Will definitely come here again. ?????“

“Delicious Japanese-inspired Wagyu Burgers and Karaage-fried Chicken sandwiches. Burgers are juicy and tender and the fried egg is a great compliment to it. Their topo-topo Wagyu-loaded fries are cravingly-good - enough beef for each bite, the right amount of sauce to give each bite great flavor without drowning the fries. Surprisingly the real standout for me was the chicken sandwich - chicken thigh meat cooked karaage-style, moist with great flavor; the sandwich isn't overly dressed so all the elements are balanced. Definitely will be coming back for more!“

“First time ordering from Sushi Damu. I had the Coconut Shrimp and Aloha Fire. The Aloha Fire was very hot. I love heat but this was a bit much. The Coconut Shrimp was tempura inside of the roll and had great flavor. Everyone I encountered was very friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant was enjoyable. Next time I'll dine in. :)“

“All That Sushi was just this side of ALL THAT!!The sushi is BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS! They have a great variety of selections and I enjoyed everything I tried. I did have a couple rolls that fell flat by themselves, but with my soy suace/wassabi dip - they were made great. The appearance of the rolls truly highlights the artistry of their chefs and their chef's attention to uniformity and detail (they have SO many different styles of the rectangular plates that they serve the sushi on - it speaks volumes). Please note, if you like salmon skin salad, theirs is GOOD! and has the perfect amount of skin in it (in my opinion). The servers are AWESOME - VERY attentive and conscientious! They bring your food dish by dish, meaning = as soon as each dish is ready, it comes to your table instead of it sitting and waiting for more things to be ready. One of the servers was so good, she remembered that we had come in to celebrate my wife's birthday about 2 months prior (even remembered the actual date ?).My only ding is that the location is small and the decor is really basic. The seating not the MOST comfortable, but it's not SO uncomfortable that you can't spend a good hour or so enjoying good food with good company. We are looking forward to getting our own chopsticks... ask your server what I'm talking about. ?All in all, I enjoy the location, the food, AND the service. OHHHHH... and the pricing is right on point with some other food spots we really like.#DateNightSpot #NewGoTo #ShareYourSpot #ImpressSomebody“

“This was my first shabu shabu experience. The food was so great and the staff prompt and friendly. We had a short wait, not that big of a deal, but the owner came over and said hi after we were seated and apologized with warm sake. Can't wait to come back to California and eat here again.“

“Amazing my new fav place for sushi. We go here every week when I am not traveling. The owner and his wife make us feel very special when we walk in. Everything is fresh, made to order, also great artistic presentation, almost too beautiful to eat. A MUST for the Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills locals and also for visitors in the area.“

“A few days ago we got a sushi platter mixed with different rolls and sushi. It was honestly some of the best rolls and sushi I had in a while! It was fresh & delicious. Highly recommend the jun roll, baked salmon roll, and seared salmon roll! If you're in the area, definitely check out koco sushi!!!“

“Delicious ramen! The Chuka Soba was phenomenal. The broth was perfectly balanced. Not too bland, not too rich. The inside is cozy and very chill. We sat at the bar to watch the cooks prepare the ramen.Gyoza was also perfect, the sauce was also quite excellent. Really enjoyed the variety of the music being played as well.“

“Good sushi/sashimi at an exceptional price!Fresh wasabi too, nice "smokey" flavor. The tuna salad with spicy ponzu is great, my lips tingled for about 20 minutes... I'm kind of sensitive to that, the flavor is excellent.I'll be going back here in the near future!“

“This is my go to spot in the area for Sushi. Their fish is excellent quality and fairly priced. I highly recommend the sashimi combination. The service is exceptional. Staff is very kind and attentive. The sushi chefs are insightful and talented. Stop by for amazing food and great service.“
“I worked out at this studio during my recent trip to Disneyland with my family. Coaches are awesome, studio was easy to get to, only like 15 to 20 minutes from our hotel by the park, and it was clean, and friendly. Whenever I'm back in the area I'll be working out here!“

“The staff is super friendly especially David. The interior was very nice and neat. The food was super tasty, I got the combo plate of chicken and steak. The chicken was juicy and tender as well as the steak! The rice was nice and soft! And the sushi rolls were BIG! Great value for the food as well. Definitely an after workout meal as an affordable option.“

“Salmon sashimi and all of their no rice rolls are amazing! Japanese Burrito, Cucumber Special, Bingo Roll, Sashimi Roll, and house sashimi variants are all our favorites. Lemon roll is a nice fresh change with paper thin slices of lemon on top. OMG, Autumn, Forbidden Love, Kobe Beef Roll, etc., all good. Crunchy rolls all seem to be covered with a lot of home made crispy onions (good and tasty, but heavy for sushi), making those dishes heavy on the palate compared to the fresh variants, but good and probably favored by novice sushi connoisseurs. Grilled Chilean Sea bass roll is legit as well! All in all, fresh fish, decent creativity and presentation, friendly staff, and they serve beer! My fav sushi spot in the area. Online ordering for pickup makes it too easy! Cheers! Update: baked green mussels are really good too! Update 2: Majority of the time we get food to go; their presentation at the restaurant is quite beautiful. Tried some cold sake this time around and it was good. Love this place.“

“I did take out on a Wednesday night. I called ahead and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later. There were a few people waiting outside which was a good sign that this was a good place to eat. The dining room looked full. My food was ready along with several others in the rack. I can't really say much about the service here as I only did take out. The food however was great! The curry chicken tonkatsu was crispy and big. I liked the pickled radish. The price was good. The cheese tonkatsu was also very good. It tastes really good hot and fresh. Unfortunately since I did take out, it lost its warmth. I would recommend reheating it in an air fryer if you takeout for home. This place is great and I would definitely come back again.“

“Parking can be a challenge depending on what time of the day. The menu does have some images to help illustrate the food. Staff is friendly, service is quick, we stopped by during lunch time. When we arrived the place was empty, when we left it was packed. The food portion is just right, does not put you into the food coma afterwards. They do have high chairs, so definitely kid friendly. This restaurant is located on the corner right across from where Daiso is located.“

“Tried this place as a recommendation from our friends. They raved about the Snowflakes roll which was spicy and delicious. We also had the spicy edamame, the Thousand Island roll, and the Vegas Baby roll. We picked up our order to go, but the place was very full on a Sunday evening.“

“Food: They have a good selection of ramen, rice bowls, and sushi. On my visit I tried the vegetable spring rolls, the St. Louis pork rib spicy miso ramen, and the tonkatsu black garlic ramen. The broth is so flavorful, the ribs were seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the ramen egg was so delicious that on another visit I added an extra egg to my ramen order. The vegetable spring rolls came out quickly and were hot and tasty. Service: the customer service here is great! You come in and seat yourself but the servers are very attentive and come to your table for orders within minutes. They are friendly and helpful. This restaurant has a smaller seating arrangement but the table turnover is fairly quick so you're not left waiting. Ambiance: The interior decor is modern with a mixture of graphic designed wallpaper and red paint which gives it a fun and energetic vibe. It's a great place to take a family or go on a date.“

Maybe will go try another day.Parking: Plenty of parking and exclusive 30 min parking for the bakery.“

“The sushi was amazingly ? fresh. The place was clean and the presentation was on point. I loved the quaint atmosphere. We had an appetizer of blue soft shell crab. The breading was a bit thick and the crab was rather moist. The flavors were good but I'm not sure I would order that if I went back. Only because the balance of bread to fish ratio was so so. I think this combination could have been pronounced better with a sauce. We also ordered some egg rolls but again, their sushi was so good, had I to do over again I would have saved all my stomach space for another roll instead of the appetizer. The sushi was 5 stars +, the egg rolls 3.5*, and the soft shell crab 3.5. The mango tango roll had so many flavors going on I did not even want to use the soy sauce as it may overpowered all of the other delicate flavors happening within the roll. Same with the crazy monkey, loved the cashews and sauces and did not want to overpower the delicate flavors with soy sauce. The service was attentive to all of our needs. We also had Yuki Sake and that was delicious with a slightly sweet taste but not overwhelming. I would go back there in a heartbeat for their sushi and service.Rolls: Mango Tango, Crazy MonkeyWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the sidewalk.“

“Amazing flavor from the chicken and pork. Friendly service. Small parking lot. They had a news channel playing on a T.V.. Owner was super friendly and happy that I stopped by. Chicken was tender, and teriyaki sauce had a nice sweetness to it that cuts through the chicken and pork really well. Rice was cooked well. Green onion was crisp. If I'm in the area, I would stop by again.“

“I've been coming here since a friend's suggestion last year and I am never disappointed in the slightest. Every piece of sushi I've had is so fresh and flavorful. They apparently get a lot of their fish straight from Japan. My favorite appetizers are the steamed abalone and monkfish liver. I would be happy only eating those, but you would be crazy to not get the omakase here. I got the garlic buttered clams on the house one time and it was also delicious. My very first visit had a long wait time outside but nowadays I just call in advance to reserve a seat. This is my first choice for sushi in Southern California.Dietary restrictions: They ask about any dietary restrictions in advance.“

“Came here with my friends because we were craving japanese curry. We got seated right away when we arrived. The menu is simple, you have an option to pick a base which was rice or udon and a protein. We all decided to get the katsu chicken with curry. 3.5/5 Chicken Katsu Curry. The curry was great and not too thick, not too runny. It was very flavorful and paired well with the radish. The chicken was very crispy, however it was very thin. There was a good amount of breading on the outside. Each dish came with 3 pieces of chicken. There was plenty for another meal. Overall the staff was friendly and attentive. The price was affordable for the amount of food you get! Would definitely come back if you're craving Japanese style curry.“

“This place is a gem! I've only been here twice in the last month and I've been impressed both times. When you arrive, you're greeted by a nice lady at the counter who takes your order. Both my boyfriend and I have gotten poke bowls and the fish is fresh! The serving size is also decent keeping me full for hours. This time around, the lady at the counter was kind by giving us complimentary miso soups! Can't go wrong with that. I'm excited to come back again! P.S. The restroom is located in the back behind the counter and through the kitchen.“

“$42 for 9 piece omakase consisting of 9 piece nigiri, miso soup, salad, AND hand roll sounds insane even if the food was mediocre, but it isn’t mediocre—fish tastes fresh and not “fishy” at all. Sure some may come with frills such as plum sauce, or yuzu salt, but nothing overpowering. Honestly everything from that set is pretty damn good and for $42, it’s a steal. Not much else needs to be said.Pro tip, for the hand roll, it asks for yellowtail or tuna but you can also request for blue crab which we opted for as we’ve had that in the past!“

“We ordered this because GrubHub was saying that it was rated really well. The rolls were beautiful, and the fish quality was spectacular. “YUM. Delicious, great quality sushi, amazing service. High prices. T.T rip my credit. The omakase is freaking $150+. In Walnut. The restaurant is located in a low key plaza off the 60 fwy. There is a small parking lot, but it is uneven. Be careful with friends on wheels. The interior is dim. There is a sushi bar, but there are also tables that can accommodate larger parties.Lunch is a good time to go because it's not nearly as crowded as dinner time and the price is lower. They do charge extra for take out. I have to say I was really satisfied with the quality of the sashimi. I also love hamachi kama, so I will have to try that next time!“

“Halal. Shabu. And GOOD halal shabu. This is not an easy feat. They have regular menu with halal beef options (must get it marinated for all that added flavor). Great service, always clean, and yummy meat. Nothing beats shabu during a California winter. The spicy miso broth is also a must.“

“Really good sushi. I was looking for a sushi place near some friends and saw the Yelp reviews for Sushi Bear. Lots of options and we enjoyed it all. Honey Roll, Aloha Roll, Sweet Dreams and Crispy Tuna. Some names of their rolls are hysterical but awkward to order! Inside is simple and bathrooms were clean. From the outside you might second guess your visit but it's all worth it.“

“My husband and I have been die hard fans of hello sushi in Fullerton. The owners are amazing people who try their absolute best to make your experience great and have always been kind to us. While dining at this new location, our waitress came up to us and said the owners saw us on the cameras and wanted to offer us free ice cream and a drink. “So while I was on my way back from Oceanside last night, decided to stop by this spot on the way home! Place was empty when I arrived since it was kind of late and they are open late! All the employees were friendly and I decided to orded the New York Strip a la carte. The food took about 10 minutes to prepare and they also provided me some sauces to try! The New York strip was delicious and tender. I wish the portion size was a little bigger but what can you do? Overall, a solid spot to check out!“

“The sushi chef was welcoming and friendly despite my little knowledge about sushi. All I tend to order is salmon sushi, spicy tuna hand roll, spicy tuna roll and some other rolls here and there. However, seeing him prepare sushi for the couple nearby made me want to try different kinds of sushi. I am looking forward to trying different fish from the sushi chef’s recommendation. Stay tuned!Their beef soup was good, just a tad pricy for what it was. I’ll stick to Shabu if I want soup. Their sushi was very good and I liked that the chef made the salmon sushi with lemon and did not need soy sauce. My sodium intake thanks you!“

My wife who is Korean gets them all the time and I can tell you this place makes the best. I really love how it is family ran and the sweet Korean lady and Korean man work here. I feel like I am in a Korean home. The best part is I got to practice my Korea language with the Korean lady and she chuckled. I hope that was a good sign that I'm learning! “The best sushi spot I have ever been to. That includes Japan, New York, California, Hawaii. This place is an absolute treat. It's also the epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. To some of the lower rating reviews, you have to understand how this place works and how special every single course is to appreciate it and then you'll get why they can't sit you right away or provide you takeout right away. The owners are the best and every single ingredient is top notch. I have been coming for years and can't ever get enough. It's a relaxing place with a very warm and comforting energy.“
