“The food was really great. We had the baked scallops and a mixture of rolls. It wasn’t a five star experience for me but it was very good. Somehow between two people, even though it was happy hour, we still managed to spend $75 on food alone.

I was extremely disappointed when I received the bill and saw that we’d been charged $7 just for plain soda water. Eventually they removed it but I never remember paying for soda water anywhere else unless it’s bottled.“

“You know what. I love Sushi and I’ve traveled around trying many sushi restaurants trying to find unique quality sushi restaurants that have that flare to make you want to come back again and again. I found that this Sushi restaurant was one of those I would visit again. You know what sets it apart. Is the sushi guys at the sushi bar that welcome you in and make sure to say goodbye on your way out. Not only is there a great greeting, but the service is great too. Even though they are small they pumped out the orders with great speed and finesse. Also, they have very unique sushi rolls that I haven’t seen at most sushi bars. As a sushi enthusiast, it fabulous to find new rolls to try and of course stick with the occasional favorites. Thanks again for the great food and we hope to visit you once again when we are back in town.“

“We got a reservation about a week ahead of time just in case and our table was set and ready upon arrival. The service was spectacular and the food amazing. My only regret was that we didn't spring for the chef's grill experience. We will definitely be back.“

“I've been wanting to go here for some time but never felt like I deserved to. Or even if I did, I never had someone who would possibly enjoy it with. So I was so excited to have been able to finally go today to celebrate @wakandinh 's birthday and do a date night. This was honestly some of the most prettiest and tastiest food I have had. These were some of my favorites tonight. They honestly were all so well thought out and meticulously prepared. I am so grateful to have experienced this Omakase service. The staff and Chef Gino were very attentive, friendly, and endearing. The ambiance was cozy and intimate. 10/10 will have to come back another time not just for the beautiful meal but Chef Gino himself. Thank you Chef for this wonderful meal! ??‍♀️“

“I got a Taro tea from Koco Sushi and it is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for other Taro enthusiasts. There are other teas available too (featured in the picture provided). The only issue I had was the boba. It’s too hard to chew but other than that, it’s all good ?.“

“The sushi was amazingly ? fresh. The place was clean and the presentation was on point. I loved the quaint atmosphere. We had an appetizer of blue soft shell crab. The breading was a bit thick and the crab was rather moist. The flavors were good but I'm not sure I would order that if I went back. Only because the balance of bread to fish ratio was so so. I think this combination could have been pronounced better with a sauce. We also ordered some egg rolls but again, their sushi was so good, had I to do over again I would have saved all my stomach space for another roll instead of the appetizer. The sushi was 5 stars +, the egg rolls 3.5*, and the soft shell crab 3.5. The mango tango roll had so many flavors going on I did not even want to use the soy sauce as it may overpowered all of the other delicate flavors happening within the roll. Same with the crazy monkey, loved the cashews and sauces and did not want to overpower the delicate flavors with soy sauce. The service was attentive to all of our needs. We also had Yuki Sake and that was delicious with a slightly sweet taste but not overwhelming. I would go back there in a heartbeat for their sushi and service.Rolls: Mango Tango, Crazy Monkey

“Great tonkatsu spot. There was about a 30min wait on Sunday night which wasn’t terrible. The tonkatsu was crunchy and juicy. I have to say, the portion sizes were more than generous. The meal was awesome but we had to mix it up with some non-fried food.“

“We ordered the lunch special with the miso soup, salad, and chicken teriyaki. I have to say this is hands-down the best chicken teriyaki I’ve ever tasted. Usually, they are too drenched teriyaki sauce for my liking, but this was just lightly seasoned with a very mild hint of curry. Expertly cooked so the chicken was not dry. Also ordered a jalapeño yellow tail roll, and another lunch special with the seaweed salad, spicy tuna roll and sashimi. Service was great, and the food was all very fresh. Highly recommend!“

“First time eating here. Can't speak for the service because we had it door dashed, but it came very fast. The rolls were super delicious. The beef bowl was good, but the meat is boiled and you can tell by the taste and texture. It would really be better if they grilled the meat or cooked it in a pan. I also wish they gave extra sauce as I ran out before I was done with my food. Other than that. For the price everything was pretty delicious and I will definitely try them again.“

We made a reservation ahead of time, so we were seated pretty quickly, I recommend to make a reservation especially on Thursday nights, PS Village Fest.
The food was amazing! I def recommend the Palm Springs roll? the ambiance of the place was also very welcoming and felt upscale. The runners and server assistants were really on top of their game. I have to admit our server wasn’t great, I felt like we kept making eye contact with her and she never came to check on us. We had to ask another staff member for our check because once she took our order she didn’t really come back to check on us.“

“Got hungry midway between SD and LA and craved sushi. Existing pictures and decent price point were attractive, as well as easy directions. Popped in around 1p, less busy time and mainly 1 server who greeted & invited us to sit where desired. She took our order quickly and was attentive. Food took a bit longer to arrive than expected; however, four items arrived within minutes of each other (hand roll, chef's choice, lobster roll, and HFM roll) and tasted excellent.
Lunch menu has decent selection amount, and Additional menus are on table, showing rolls, sushi, Appetizers, and specials. The place could charge more for it's offerings, or one could order more to try more if it.
It's tame, atmospherically, and when waiting for food I looked up to see large, grayish construction paper-type covering that was fastened/stapled to the ceiling insulation. Unsure if that's temporary. Table had some slight stickiness (napkin got stuck a bit as I repositioned it), so could have used a better wipe down, but those are the only reasons for 4 star atmo.
I'd stop by here again when I'm in the area :)

“We had an early dinner at Fish in a Bottle Sushi & Grill at 4 pm and it was amazing! We may have been the first customers there. It's usually very busy, so we got there early to celebrate our anniversary. I had the French Kiss sushi plate and Hubby had the rainbow roll with miso soup. The calamari was good, but a little chewy. Everything else was delish! We love this sushi house.“

“I wanted to gatekeep this SO BADLY but I may have just found the BEST quality handrolls in Orange County.

Took my mom to this super chic and modern handroll bar in Brea. The quality of each handroll was UNREAL.

Seriously, so hard to choose favorites, but I loooved the baked blue crab and A5 wagyu.

I also definitely recommend getting their rock shrimp tempura appetizer and fun mocktails that are so tasty.
