“I LOVE this place! The food is always amazing whether dine in or take out, I'm salivating. The servers are so kind and do their job well. And the VIBES! that place is so cute they either have live music or some good jams playing in the resturant. I take everyone I know here. Can't wait for my next visit ?“

“We loved our experience here. Attentive service and really good food. My only critique as a person with food allergies is that I wish those were listed on the menu (GF, V, DF, etc). A gluten free toast option would be amazing too, but I’ll take what I can get!“

“The initial attraction to this restaurant was simple. A Michelin star, and there's a cheeseburger on the menu?!? Sign me up. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was modern, minimal, and comfortable. We were greeted with a delicious amuse bouche of creme fraiche and green onion with some sort of crunchy vessel holding it together. Then we moved onto the baguette, which, while delicious, I would probably pass on my next visit. Then came the onion tartine, which, in my opinion, was the highlight of the meal. Perfectly blistered gruyere cheese over caramelized onions and delicious fresh bread drizzled with a duck fat reduction tableside. Think of it as a perfectly executed inverted French onion soup. Then came the burger. Upon arrival, it was announced as a 50/50 blend of ribeye and duck, smoked gouda, and caramelized onions on an incredible brioche bun. I've had a lot of burgers, and none of them even came close to this one. Perfectly cooked, lovely char, and incredible flavor. We ordered the Madeira mushroom risotto as a side dish, and that was delicious as well. Every course was perfectly spaced out, and the wait staff never missed a beat. The overall experience was faultless, and I can't wait for another special occasion to return.“

“Came in with my partner and the interior was small and so it felt a bit tight, but the servers knew how to work around the space well! They were also super friendly without being overbearing and the food that we ordered was so good! I got the omurice and my partner got the hayashi dish. I preferred mine over his and their miso soup was paired really well with the omurice :)I would come back again to try their breakfast and bento mealsParking: There are paid parking lots around the area or if you’re lucky, street parking for 1-2 hoursWheelchair accessibility: I don’t think it would be easy for a wheelchair user to be able to dine inside due to the space but if they moved a few chairs around, it’s possible! “When there a week after Valentine's Day. The location is right under the Chinatown metro station which was kind of cool. They have a parking lot but street parking was plentiful. They sat us by the bar and the server station and we could hear the food expediter apologizing for being late and the owner being super chill about it. Without missing a bit, he went right up to the pass and got to work. The food was awesome with one exception - the Escargot was too herby and not garlicky enough for my taste. They had a very good wine list, the service was super friendly and the owner chatted us up. We will be back.“

“I go to this place a lot and it NEVER misses. The food is incredible and I can’t find a word to describe how kind the staff is. I once saw the owner bring a local homeless woman food and call her by her first name. Absolutely incredible people.“

“You have to go to l'Appart by Air Food to experience a delicious French bistrot ambiance. The ambiance outside is very friendly, covid-safe and cosy. The dishes are beyond delicious. Yesterday I had the Plat du Jour with delicious scallops and home made very tasty mash potato puree. The plate are so beautifully presented - it is a pleasure to look. The desserts were delicious as well. There is a shade that separates the table from the streets for privacy. Free parking in the corner street. Brigitte the waitress is very welcoming and the owner / chef are beyond nice. An address to discover !“

“Having lunch with my daughter is a tradition at Mimi. We love the food. The tomato basil soup is amazing and her favorite. I just had to order the turkey dinner which was fantastic. Tony C. took great care of us. Service was quick and attentive.“

“I love this place. It's charming, it's delicious and a spot for locals to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee. Parking is hard to find to be honest, at all times of day. I believe it's the locals who live close by that walk here that frequent Figaro. We were lucky enough to find parking on a Tuesday morning most recently. We ordered pasta, a hot chocolate and a coffee. My favorite time of day to eat here is evening. The inside of the bistro is gorgeous, and makes me feel like I'm in Paris. It's old and full of charm. The service is great, and we receive our orders fairly fast. Definitely check this place out, but Uber if you can.“

“I have been going to Taix for almost 20 years and have gotten to know many of the staff. They always remember me and also my usual drink and escargot order. I feel like I am going home when I go there. There are not many places like this anymore. It is truly a special restaurant and bar“

“French wine bar in DTLA - definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a mall (?) entrance but absolutely worth the visit. Well-curated wine list, almost exclusively French staff who will charm you away with their wittiness and hospitality. We specifically enjoyed the scallops with black truffle and the garlic bread (sorry but it’s too die for). Can also recommend the escargot if you enjoy the texture - the taste was on point. Would definitely recommend for a laid back dinner vibe with friends“

“I ended up here on a tuesday evening while waiting for my bus. Delicious drinks in a lovely building with good ambiance and incredible bartenders. I’m indecisive and I don’t know what I like and they helped me find out. They hold events frequently so make sure to come often; I’m sure this will become my new favorite spot.Food review will come when I have the chance to chow down some of it.“

“Walked by it for years and only recently tried it. So good. Had a special of white asparagus soup which was delicious. I had their strip which was well prepared. Our server was lovely and great at directing us. Lovely little. Spot. Reservations are strongly recommended.“

“What a great surprise! My daughter and I spent the morning at the flower market and wanted a small, cozy place to eat lunch and talk. We love French everything and found this place on Yelp. It was literally a 5 min drive from the flower market and we found a parking space on the street with no issues (metered parking). The area was clean and safe. Let me tell you about the menu - the variety was great with a list of savory and sweet crepes with salads and sandwiches too. You could get bottled drinks or soda fountain. The service was very efficient - order at the counter, find a table (indoor or outdoor) and then the found came out hot and delicious. My daughter and I shared a sweet one called the Royal with Nutella, banana and strawberry and I ordered the Paris with chicken, mushrooms and a creamy sauce. Portion size was just right - not too filling but a nice amount. The decor is so cute and the small space feels bigger. It's a hidden gem and I highly recommend.“

“Took my girlfriend here for a Valentine's dinner - incredible & unique menu, really cool ambiance in terms of watching the food be made, and great experience talking to the chef and the service staff. I'd say it's a bit pricey and the corkage fee was INSANE ($75 + a 20% gratuity on top of that), but for such a unique experience i'd still recommend. I'd recommend doing the research on this restaurant and understanding its appeal as the price point won't make it a great pick for everyone.“

“This is a great little place. Central to a lot of trains downtown, next to the Biltmore. If you're anywhere within about 3 or 4 blocks you should definitely make the walk. They brew la colombe coffee. Decent. My girlfriend got a child which is really good, I got the blueberry scone very good not too sweet, cheese danish was also very good.“
