“Lovely place- would come back and recommend! Good spot to read or work with plenty of outlets, free wifi, open bathroom, and table space upstairs and downstairs. I got the cheese/green onion scone and a warm date latte and enjoyed both. Service was great and atmosphere was calm & relaxing. Came in on a Tuesday from 12:45-2:45pm and was very quiet and not very busy. I essentially had the whole upstairs table to myself for a couple hours.
Note: it seems like oatmilk substitute costs an extra 75 cents.“

“I make it a point to come and visit Fava about once a month, traveling from out of town each time, and I have to say, it's always such a genuinely lovely experience. It's a combination of the wonderful people who work there, the delicious food they prepare, the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, and the incredible freshness of everything. It really does make my day so much more delightful. The staff is consistently very kind and cheerful, which definitely shines through in the quality of the food they serve.The vibe outside the music. Everything about this establishment is just how businesses should be run, especially in the food industry and I commute about an hour and a half each way this stop makes my drive so much better. “This is a casual restaurant with all the classic Vietnamese dishes. The staff is very friendly and the food is made very quickly. Everything is reliably really good and comforting. I highly recommend the tofu bahn mi, which is a quick, filling lunch for just $7.25.“

“Small shop with warm food and an open fridge section of sushi. There was also a wall of snacks. Prices are very reasonable. No verbal communication which I think is fine but the woman dropped my packed sushi upside down and then tossed it into a bag. Sushi rice was a bit too hard for my liking.“

And that comes from over a year of experience living and traveling in Italy! The pastas are all made with homemade, organic noodles and made-to-order sauces. The pasta dishes are so fresh and authentic! The spaghetti with meatballs, their only Americanized dish, is to die for! The pizzas also are also made with home-made dough and gluten-free options are offered. Try one with fresh prosciutto, mozzarella, and arugula! The fresh panini with Italian meats and cheeses round out the lunch menu. A serious final highlight was the artisanal gelato, made in-house by the Italian co-owner, Eleanora Cercatore. “I usually order the basil chicken or the green curries but everything is good there. Be careful if you request spicy, mom in kitchen will think you want it “Thai spicy” if you don’t elaborate. Thai spicy dropped me and I love spicy. 😂“

“Delicious, fresh and wholesome food! We were visiting from out of town and just googled breakfast in Berkeley, and this place popped up. So glad we chose it, because our food was delicious. Our group had the lox bagel, breakfast burrito, and the jumpstart breakfast with pancakes and bacon. Everything was quality and cooked well. The smoothies and espresso drinks were also great!“
