“You walk in, looks like a good old dive bar until you order your food. This place has the best burgers for the price, the calamari’s were fresh and tender. The jalapeño burger was huge and the meat was great AND COOKED TO PERFECTION. By far some of the best food I’ve had at a bar. Get there early because at lunch it fills up fast with the locals.”

“10/10 Stars all around! This place is a vibe! We had the pleasure of stopping for lunch at Moon Ridge coffee Company, and it did not disappoint. My 10-year-old would like me to be sure to mention that his hibiscus lemonade was incredible. My family of four each had a different sandwich and they were all delicious and there was no skimping on any of the ingredients. The people were friendly and service was great. Highly recommend!”

“Eh, it was alright. Burgers do not include fries. They were also OUT of fries this evening. Tater tots were good but they were a little stingy with the ketchup. We also ordered the Bear Trap Nachos. Cheese was cold. The portion was a decent size. We went off of the reviews and thought we’d really enjoy the place.”

“What a groovy little spot! We stopped in after a ride at the ranch and enjoyed ourselves here. A lot of really kooky cool eye candy on the walls and everywhere. Cozy and small. Outdoor patio if it’s not too cold. Heidi and Chuck are the greatest! Very friendly and helpful and made our visit extra special. BJ’s has been around so long I find that fabulous!

I started with a glass of red and moved onto a rolling rock and they’ve got very decent prices. I had the Rueben sandwich and the sauce on. It was just lovely! It was cooked nicely and came out very hot which was great! My only complaint is there wasn’t nearly enough meat in it. I tasted mostly bread but with a little more meat that would’ve been perfection. The coleslaw has a nice twist instead of mayo. They use balsamic vinegar! Tart but lovely! Will definitely be back!”

“One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a long time. I was skeptical about door dashing a cocktail but I was SO surprised when it came in a mason jar. Honey mustard was so tasty I used on my sandwich instead of the pickles. The pickles were good but a bit breaded for my taste. Regardless, this was the perfect pick for BB for my first night.”

“I enjoyed a satisfying dinner after a relaxing wellness day at Soothing Canna Massage and Wellness. It was an amazing pairing that I highly recommend. PROS: Located in the heart of Big Bear village, this rustic, warm, and cozy restaurant provided wonderful amabiance for a Spring evening meal. Hostesses and greeters welcomed us with smiles and friendliness. Our server, Leticia, provided courteous, professional, and knowledgeable service. We ordered the outstanding macademia nut crusted crab cakes with a wonderfully balanced chunky mango salsa. Not since the heyday of Citrone's in Redlands crab cakes have I delighted so dearly of these crustacean delicacies. The baked brie accompanied with toasted pine nuts, and chipotle rasberry sauce paired deliciously with grilled ciabatta. The freshly baked bread added a nice yeasty element with butter. The entree of pistachio crusted chicken with orange dijon sauce complimented each other sweetly. The buttery sweet potato mash contributed to the nutty tangy protein. I enjoyed dipping the freshly prepared vegetables with the sauce and mash! CONS: The salad that comes with the entree seemed like an after thought and definitely did not compare to the freshly made soups. The dishes are slightly overpriced compared to other places with similar food selections. So, the value is not exactly there. OVERALL: With a dirge of options at the quality and professionality of Peppercorn Grill in Big Bear, I highly recommend this spot for a wonderful dinner with friends and loved ones. ⚜️💚⚜️”

“The only reason I recommend them is because the desserts are so good. The line to order was chaotic, not very orderly. The girl took my order , rang me up and handed me my treats. I walked out with my friend and decided to check we had everything. We were shorted 1 thing. My friend went back in to get what she was shorted. Soon I went back in to see what was taking so long. The girl behind the counter took all of our treats back, checked a bunch of receipts and had another co worker help her. Then she asked me for my change back but barely remembered I paid with cash not a card. She had charged me correctly but forgotten an item. FINALLY got the correct treats so we took it and left. I drive 50 minutes home and open my bags. Guess what, I’m now missing something. After all that, the incompetent girl still messes up and shorts me. I never write bad reviews but driving all the way home to find you don’t have everything you paid for is such a bummer”

Well the owner of Big Bear Brewery found me on FB messenger mailed my backpack with all its belongings. Even the cash. Good people do exist Richard thank you! “I live here in big bear I have ordered the teriyaki chicken sandwich no bread 6 to 7 times never has it has it had cheese so how would I know it had cheese I didn't look at menu because I just new they had it so tonight it had cheese on no biggy I thought I can just pull the cheese off oh no cuz the whole dinner was soaking in 2 inches of grease their response is well it has cheese on so basically too bad...we go their so much they new my husband's name just by telling them what I ordered...but no more they make so much money off non locals they could care less about loyal customers I'll take my money else where not sure where cuz nobody really cares any more pictures in comments”

“Classic bar. The decor is great, with lots of hardwood and a fireplace. Bartenders are skilled and friendly. Whiskey selection is extensive. Only 4 beer taps, but they're thoughtfully curated to provide a variety of good, mostly local beers.”

Limited alcoholic drink options outside of beer so I went for the soju. Premises is very small - only a couple of tables and a couple of chars at the counter. “Pizza is great! Salads are basic, seem like bagged salad. Good beer selection. There is an arcade which my kids love. However a few of the games were broken or out of use which was disappointing especially because they didn’t have signs on them and then it takes your money. However my son won at the claw machine and that was one of the highlights of the trip! The restaurant is usually packed with people, very lively. Great place to go for pizza and good times. I hope they add some new machines to their arcade.”
