“Surprisingly good! My picky friend also complimented this place. The veggies were really fresh and the kidney was processed well. Dishes were seasoned perfectly. Not too heavy like a lot of other restaurants. The experience was like dining at a high-end Taiwanese restaurant in Taiwan. Though the dishes were expensive, the price includes sales tax. I will still come back due to the quality and to support the business!“

“We had a wonderful experience with Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney! Since it’s located inside Downtown Disney, you’ll need to go through the security screening before getting there, so be sure to allow a little extra time.
The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, and every employee we interacted with was welcoming, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. We ordered takeout, and the pickup process was smooth and efficient. Although we didn’t dine inside this visit, the restaurant looked gorgeous, and we’d definitely love to eat there next time.
Our meal was outstanding! We ordered the Pork Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), sliced chicken noodle soup, noodles with spicy sauce, Shrimp & Kurobuta Pork Spicy Wontons, and Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The soup dumplings lived up to the hype, the chicken noodle soup was comforting, the spicy noodles and wontons had just the right amount of heat and amazing flavor, and the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao truly had happiness in every bite.
The best part was taking our dinner back to the hotel and enjoying it while watching the Disneyland fireworks from our balcony. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.
Whether you dine in or order takeout, Din Tai Fung is absolutely worth the visit. We can’t wait to come back!“

“The food here is always delicious, with consistent quality too. It’s a cozy restaurant. They always recognize me when I come in, especially since I get the same three things every time. Winter melon tea, twice cooked pork, and their beef wrapping rolls“

“Yumi Time is one of those low-key neighborhood spots that quietly wins you over with real comfort food and genuinely kind service. A Taiwanese homestyle flavors, and everything we tried tasted like it was cooked with patience instead of shortcuts.
The braised pork rice bowl was the first “okay, this is legit” moment. The pork was chopped into glossy, tender cubes with that rich soy-braised aroma, spooned generously over hot white rice. It hit the perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet, with enough collagen-y goodness to feel luxurious without being greasy. The little pop of bright pickles on the side (and fresh cilantro on top) kept each bite clean and addictive.
The noodle soup was just as satisfying. It came in a big metal bowl with a clear, comforting broth, loads of bean sprouts and greens, and a braised egg that tasted properly marinated. The noodles were light and slurpable, and the soup had that simple, clean depth that’s hard to get right—especially when you want something soothing but still flavorful. Add a touch of chili (if you like heat) and it becomes even more craveable.
We also ordered the braised pork knuckle bowl, and it’s absolutely worth it if you like melt-in-your-mouth texture. The skin and meat were tender, richly seasoned, and paired perfectly with rice, pickled ginger, and herbs. It’s hearty, satisfying, and the kind of dish that makes you slow down and enjoy the whole bowl.
Don’t skip the side dish with tofu puffs and cabbage—soft, spongey tofu that soaks up sauce, plus cabbage that stays crisp-tender. It’s a great add-on to balance the richer braised items.
Service was a highlight. Staff were warm, attentive, and quick to check in without hovering. Food came out fast, everything was neatly plated, and the overall vibe felt relaxed and welcoming. Portions were generous for the price, and the dishes all worked well family-style if you’re sharing.“

“The stinky tofu was decent. I hadn’t had it for five years, so I was still happy to find it here. That said, it didn’t feel stinky enough or juicy enough, and the tofu texture seemed a little different from the common type I’m used to in Taiwan.
I asked for extra pickled cabbage, but it was never served, and water was not provided either.
Still, because stinky tofu is so rare to find here, I have to give full points for that. The 肉圓was also really good.“

“We always like to go to Picnic Time to get their Yubu. It's a small and cute cafe, but the ambiance is welcoming and comfortable. They also have a lot of new items on the menu. We ordered their seared salmon Yubu x 3, one Kimchi Yubu, one Lemon Ponzu Salmon Yubu, and one eel Yubu.
The food was fresh and delicious. The server was friendly.“

“My family and I live this place. The food is fresh and delightful. The only thing I would say in a different light is that I wish they had more staff. The service is good however, sometimes it takes a while for your server to cover to you due to understaffed. Other then that this place is one of our faves.“

“Simple Taiwanese lunch bentos, generally $11 each (since March 2024 I believe), cash only. Check the Facebook page for the daily menu. There is one option each for chicken, pork, or fish. Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.“
“Very friendly staff. I ordered the fried squid. It was huge. She even said it was biggest she ever seen. For $15 it's a bargain. It's made to order. Once you bite into it, you are transported to Taiwan night market!!
Give them a try.
You won't disappoint.“

“I was curious about this place, so I walked past it to check out their menu before heading to our fave dim sum spot in Walnut/City Of Industry (All That n Dim Sum). Sadly, they’re closed on Tuesdays. Decided to come back here since they looked busy. At first, there were plenty of seats, but when I went back, only 2 seats way in the back were open. We went with the lunch specials, and honestly, best decision ever. I got Combo D—fried chicken steak and noodle soup, plus preserved veggies. My partner had Combo C—fried pork chop with dry noodles. Both were amazing! I loved the noodle soup, but the dry noodles were just as good. Both are classic Taiwanese comfort foods and the lunch specials also come with tea! Definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving some tasty, hearty dishes!
Ambiance - a small but busy cafe feel!“

“Bought frozen food from here 1st time. Great food. Hope they have more options in frozen items in the future. I will definitely buy more in the future. One suggestion: Vacuum seal bag must be sealed securely especially the soup base. My beef stew soup and chicken noodle bags are leaking 😕. Luckily I have ziplock bag on each item before I put in my freezer. Otherwise my refrigerator will be all wet after I defrost my item in my refrigerator.“

“Unexpectedly good personal shabu shabu here in this little cafe! The portion is very large for the price. It's already cooked and ready to eat. Meat and veggies are very tender and the broth is perfect. I think other dishes are just OK. Kung pao chicken was not very authentic. Tea is quite strong, but also quite impressive about the scent. Boba was less than what I expected from a place known for boba.“

“First time trying this restaurant we got the yuzu sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich. My yuzu the chicken was only half the sandwich a small tender. Its missing some cheese flavor is good. The spicy chicken sandwich was ok alot of seasoning dry rub. The best was the curly fries super delicious and crispy. I also didn’t appreciate my side of ranch half filled and i paid for it. Drink were good. No customer service self order options. Restrooms could be cleaner. Location is nice.“

“Happy to see that Cowboy Cafe is back!
We came a few minutes after 5 pm on Saturday, right before the dinner rush. They have 2-top, 4-top and 6-top tables and booths, so if you're in a larger group, you'll have to split up your group. We got the second to last open table for 2.
Our order taker was very helpful, urging us to get our order in before the group of 10 gets theirs in. We got the rib eye hot plate ($19.99) and filet mignon hot plate ($24.99), both cooked medium with black pepper sauce and served with spaghetti. The hot plate includes a drink too, so we picked the black tea (opted out of the $1 upgrade). Everything was so good. Our favorite of the two was definitely the filet mignon!
The menu is all by QR code. Parking is plentiful in the large lot.“

“Mom wanted some white bread so we stopped by after the shaved ice place next door. They have one of the best Taiwanese pineapple cakes I’ve ever tasted. They are not cloyingly sweet like others. Service behind the counter was efficient. It’s a little bakery-cafe with some tables and chairs for dine in. There are assorted breads, cookies and cakes. We got ours to go.“
“I just just opened a bag of the ground pork original flavor and consumed the whole 12oz bag in two days! A tad sweet & sticky for me, texture was Great though! Ordered three more 12oz bags to try the other flavors?“

“Very good quality! I really liked the Bubble Volcano. The barista named Odelia, was very respectful, friendly, and super cute. She’s such a hard worker and really puts effort into making sure everything is done right and that customers have a great experience. She was very welcoming, patient, and attentive while taking my order, and you can tell she genuinely cares about providing good service. Her positive attitude made the experience even better. Overall, the drinks are amazing, the service was great, and I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Love the chops a lot! But the woman server is horrible, she was very angry and taunt us because we didn't order as much as she want. She kept talking loudly about this and showed a long face even we ordered additional food afterwards, which ruined our whole experience. The men owner is good and nice. Hope I won't meet the woman again, maybe she's the owner who knows“

“I ordered a beef wrap to go. I was looking forward to eat it when I got it. But I was disappointed about the food when I opened it. It's too greasy. The wrap had too much of vinegar in it. The taste of it was so so (some parts were no taste, some parts were to salty and others had strong vinegar taste.) I ate it two nights. I had hard times going number 2 in the morning.“
“A true hole in the wall chinese joint that serves delicious and freshly cooked dishes. Prices are very reasonable and friendly staff. Great value for meals. In this economy, no one can beat their all day special of 3 freshly cooked items with rice for only $24.99“

“One of the few Taiwanese styled Chinese breakfast in town. The green onion cakes 蟹壳黄)is pretty good when it’s warm. We’ve coming up this pace for years and the quality has always been about the same; though the prices have gone up a lot over the last year or so.
Vegetarian options: Most items are meatless, but many items contain eggs.
Parking: Lots of spaces.“
