“I love coming to Tasty Pot City of Industry! It’s one of our go-to spots. The popcorn chicken is definitely our favorite appetizer. The soups are really good and filling. One thing that this Tasty Pot has that makes it stand out is the unlimited DIY sauce bar.“

“As a Taiwanese in California there’s not a lot of really “good authentic” restaurants, but I’ve lived I. Rowland heights for so many years now and this is by far my favorite stinky tofu restaurant ever and they have amazing service, super kind staff, you can sit outside or inside! Super great and love the food!“

“The food was great the pork and cabbage dumplings with soy sauce were bomb. Ordered both bafang signature ramen and another spicy ramen but they both tasted almost the same and almost no spicy so if you add more chili sauce that they provide be generous with it to get the spice. I also got the mini wonton soup which was also really good, the wontons were perfect no complaints and the broth was a great compliment to the wontons. If you like more flavor fry mixing in the chili sauce and some ginger sauce that they have in and trust it elevates it a lot. Their soy mango drink is also really good not too sweet and I added boba which went really good with it. 9/10 would definitely go again but not so much for the ramen because there want enough spice to call it spicy and both spicy ramens tasted the same.“

“This is my third time returning to this place. The food ingredients are fresh, especially for a Taiwanese restaurant. It's a bit pricey, but understandable for authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Their tea pot is superior compared to other Asian restaurants; the quality of the tea is noticeably better. We ordered sesame oil kidney, cucumber salad, dragon beard salad, beef noodle soup, and Three Cup Chicken. Their beef noodle is Michelin three stars. If you prefer spicy or salty flavors, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you prefer freshness, it's a good choice. I'll definitely continue to visit here.“

“This reminds me a little bit of the rolls you'd find in Taipei food markets...got me feeling a little bit nostalgic :') It's definitely a unique food that you normally don't see very often across SGV/626 regions. Don't sleep on it, give this place a try! Very friendly owners as well. We were told that the most popular options was the Spicy Fried Chicken and the Marinated Beef. Both were good! I liked the spicy fried chicken just a tad bit more. Loved how crispy the chicken was! I definitely want to go back and try the Cumin Lamb as that was also another popular option. We ordered the regular size and surprisingly satisfied our hunger for me and my bf. I think the large size means they give more meat - not that the roll is bigger. If you have a big appetite, I think this could also be a great option for a snack!“

“After three visits here, I feel like I can give a good review of the menu. Cindy's Kitchen is a hole in the wall that only seats about 18 people so it looks like some regulars opt to order food to go. They have a wide variety of options from noodle dishes to stir fry dishes to rice bowl options so there's something for everyone. They also make/sell frozen XLB, wontons, buns and dumplings which I've not tried. Unfortunately, they don't sell XLB for dine in customers but they do offer dumplings and wontons. Beyond all this, they have many cold dishes at the deli counter and most of these are pretty good so they can compliment the stir fry dishes. As other have noted, they only have 1 person in the front of house so service may be slower. I think there's only 2 people in the kitchen. In my three dinner visits, I only saw one non-Chinese speaking table so I have no idea how well the waitress can communicate in English but there is English on the menu as well as on all the signs for the sides and frozen foods for sale. Parking lot isn't big but if you come for dinner, the other businesses may be closed which helps. Check out my pics including the menu.“
“A very quiet place located in a non-descriptive strip mall. You will miss if it you are not paying attention.Run by a family, its lot a limited menu focused on Taiwanese bento boxes. For $10, you get rice, soup, 2-3 vegetable side dishes, and your choice of 3 main dishes that rotate every day. It's generous and really perfect. The meal tastes home-cooked.This is a great option if you need something that feels like home.Bento box menu is in Cantonese and changes out every 2 weeks. There might be a regular menu, but I can't read Cantonese. The nice folks do speak a limited amount of English and just need to know which of the 3 options you want.Mushroom-bamboo fish was excellent.“

“The food and service have improved significantly since we dined in 2 years ago. Everything we ordered, from combination fried rice, sausage rice to joy pot, were excellent and big portions. Milk tea is consistently good and tastes like authentic tea not some fake powdery stuff. Staff were great and food came out quickly. We will visit there more often.“

“This is Shun Cheung Ip. I am the waiter you mentioned. I think my service is very good. Since you said so, don’t come to our restaurant to eat next time. If you are not satisfied, you can go to my boss. There is no need to be here. Talking nonsense and making random comments“

“My friend Dopey brought me here for my first time to try the popcorn chicken specifically! There are 3 spice levels i chose mild, never have I had such juicy perfectly crisp bites of chicken hands down the best i had. There is such a huge menu to choose from heard the fried porkchop is delicious. I there is a wide variety of jelly which is really cool i got a taro with rainbow jelly. I definitely recommend this place.“
“The spicy bacon jerky will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. That's all you need to know. I know. What could be so amazing about jerky? Well let me tell you. This is the most succulent, flavorful, JUICY, jerky you'll ever put in your mouth. It's a little pricey but so worth it. They use a Chinese method to make it juicy but this will RUIN grocery store jerky for you“
“Never realized I never left a review for this place. Always a go-to for my Taiwanese comfort food cravings. Very mom & pop run, makes it feel like home. Very accommodating as well whenever I was making a rush order during busy times or even now right before they were to close. Consistent food quality and always available/nearby is great as well.“

“One of my go-to places in the area. Simple. Solid personal hotpot. I always get the t-rex lamb sukiyaki with ponzu sauce. Love that they have this extra meat option. Everything comes out fairly quickly. There's plenty amount of veggies. The lamb has a slight gamey taste, but it's still just so delicious.“

“I gotta say, very consistent what I believe to be taiwanese comfort/street food. Of course I haven't been to taiwan before but the flavors of the food are comforting for me as a chinese person. Simple stir fry meat sauce over rice with pickled daikon and simple cabbage that offers a mild sweet flavor and nice crunch. What's there not to like.Service is fast since they're rather small indoor seating so it's easy to flag down staff to order. Of course there's also outdoor seating too, but it's "fast" food since you order and in about 10 minutes or less the food is already at your table. We're usually in and out in under 30 minutes.“

“I searched for restaurant that opened late because I got out of work late and couldn't find anything still open to eat at. This one open till 12am weekdays. Weekend times are different so be aware. They close between 2pm-5pm. I went there and saw no customers. But the reviews looks good so I give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The beef was tender and the soup base was flavorful. The price was reasonable. It's now one of my favorite place to eat. You can pick different styles of noodles. Service was quick. Tried their green milk tea was good as well.“

“Great authentic Taiwanese foods. Definitely one of the closest to the taste you would get in Taiwanese. Come here for the food and not the service. Not a huge restaurant by any means so I would try to beat the rush. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking to try a taste of Taiwan.Parking: Parking is usually easy to find, not too much going on in this strip mall“

“Saturday 2/24/24 Lunch at Yumi Time in City of Industry. Trying out this Taiwanese style foods restaurant. The foods I’ve ordered was delicious. Braised chicken with gravy, veggies, eggs Sunnyside up, meatballs soup, and white rice. The flavors and spices were made just right and tasty without any over bearing taste of a particular spice. I’ve enjoyed the meal: the meatball soup with a little raw diced celery add crunch and unique flavor. The meatballs tasted really good without any cheap fillers. The braised chicken was perfectly spiced with their awesome gravy on the side for the chicken and rice to brings the foods to the next level.Alex, restaurant manager, and a female staff were friendly and attentive.Word of advice to restaurant owner(s): the foods were delicious, however, there can be an improvement to gain more business. I felt the portion of rice should be increase. Here is the reason why. For your customers who has a good appetite (including myself) due to the less (not enough) portion of the rice included in the meal, the customer won’t feel satisfied and may have to go elsewhere to eat more. When spending about $15-$20 for a meal, it should be a one stop restaurant to feel satisfied. If not, customers won’t be returning to the restaurant. Provide a little more rice to the meal; it is inexpensive and can provide a word of mouth advising for your restaurant.Restaurant is open from 11am-3:00pm, 6 days a week. These are mostly lunch hours. Please expand your hours to include lunch and or dinner so more customers can go and give you business. I attempted to go to dinner one evening and found that it was closed.I recommend trying out this restaurant. I will be going back to try the other dishes on the menu.David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast“

“Have been here several times throughout the years and the food is still good. Had the popcorn chicken snack, the braised pork with rice, and a green tea milk tea. Everything was as I remembered from the last time - except prices. Inflation has definitely hit, but there are still items I would get because I can only get them here and they make it well. This location is smaller than the one on Valley and Lemon, but still has seating and since it's in the Village, it's nice to grab your food and eat outside. Service was fine and they give you everything in a cool, reusable bag. I'd rather have lower prices and a paper bag, but the bag is definitely nice and good quality.“

“Lambs Hot Pot A couple of days ago, my dear friend, a good cook herself, highly recommended the lambs hot pot. I am not a lamb enthusiast, I don't like it's heavy smell; but today I decided to give it a try. When the courteous server brought me the hot pot on a burner, the steaming aromatic in the air was a relieve from my concern. The bite size cut meat with bones and skin stewed with mixed ingredients, including cabbage, fish balls, mushrooms, sliced gingers, tofu, jujubi and herbs was plenty. The broth had a little bit of sweetness, was tasty and balanced. The meal came with a bowl of rice noodle and a small side dish of appetizer. Good for a chilly day.“

“I went to buy takeout on chinese new year. the long queue of lines compared to the restaurant next door was a telling sign the food here must be good. We ordered the beef chow fun and fish fillets. They were still warm and tasty by the time I brought it home. My parents liked the food at this location. We definitely want to come back here to try more of the dishes when we have another family gathering. The waiter that helped take my order was kind even with all the chaos of the chinese new year. My order took a little bit longer to come back due to the large crowds but I was able to run other errands and come back for my food on time when my food was ready.“
“Portion and price was good! I got the popcorn chicken as a late night snack. 1 star deducted because of service. The lady was helping me but as soon as another customer came in...she seems to jump onto them immediately and I am just...air (and neglected) lol“
