“A friend recently introduced me to Laundromat Bagel & Cafe on Balboa Street in the Outer Sunset, and I'm so glad they did.

The cafe immediately stood out thanks to the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bagels drifting onto the street. Inside, the space felt airy and inviting, with a thoughtful blend of wood and metal accents that created a warm, modern atmosphere. What impressed me just as much was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, smiling, and genuinely friendly. Their warmth made the experience feel personal and memorable.

As for the bagels, they are hands down superior to most bagels I've had in San Francisco. Even without toasting, the exterior had a satisfying crunch while the inside remained light and fluffy. The flavor was wonderfully balanced—neither sweet nor grainy, but pleasantly nutty. Most remarkable of all, the bagels weren't overly chewy, allowing their texture and flavor to shine.

The cream cheese deserves special recognition as well. The best way I can describe it is New York meets Bay Area style: dense and creamy, yet somehow light and fluffy, with just the right amount of tanginess.

I'm thrilled to have been introduced to Laundromat for its exceptional bagels. Now I have every reason to return and see what their pizza and beer are all about.“

The Waikiki sneaky particularly did a great job balance spicy and sweet flavors while still tasty like pizza. The Jalisco punk was the standout amongst the drinks, but u left wanting to try a bunch more.

“Cute and cozy restaurant serving up unique pizettas. We had the funghi pizza which was loaded with mushrooms and greens. We also had a lamb pizza that was almost like an open-faced gyro. The ricotta cake dessert was heavenly. Such a delicious meal and great service!“

Their pizza menu typically offers six types of pizza; two standard, four that change every season. Half their pizza menu is always vegetarian-friendly. Ever since I discovered this spot, I've been trying to come at least once every season to try out their seasonal pizzas, and they never disappoint!

Like many places in the city, space is limited. So, my only suggestion is, if you're planning to come here during busy lunch/dinner hours, come here early to grab a table. Also, inside can be loud. If you want to have conversations, it's better to request outdoor seating.“

“Excellent pizza with an excellent under carriage. Nice charred bit on the crust. They put fresh basil on the cooked pizza with adds a nice herbaceous finish. The sauce has a nice mix of sweet and sour flavors that pairs nicely with the pepperoni. The Parmesan shaved on top is great touch. The inside does have an industrial vibe.“

“I ordered the pistachio obsession and the meat lover. Both were delicious, though I wish the meat lover didn’t have honey. As it made it sweet, which I didn’t expect. I wanted one sweet Pinsa (the pistachio).

Our order was delivered on time and I love that there was variety of tacos built into the order and I didn't have to pick which ones I wanted. There were even gluten free and vegetarian options. The owners clearly put serious care into every detail, from the dough to the sauce, cheese, and every topping. All the meats are halal and either carefully sourced or made in-house, which really shows in the quality and flavor.

The pizza itself is incredible, with a perfect crisp in every bite and a really well-balanced taste throughout. They even recently competed in the Pizza Maker of the Year contest in Las Vegas at the Pizza Expo, which says a lot about the level they’re operating at.

10/10 pizza, and even better hospitality from the owners and staff. This is my go to spot when I'm in SF. No one does it better than Pronto Pizzeria.“

“The owner is very sweet! I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years, sometimes 3+ times a month🙈🤣 I always get the chicken tikka masala & chicken Cho mein, (I ask for both Spicy but you can get any level of heat you prefer) & a side of the garlic naan. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu but those are my favorite! The owner has always been very accommodating, I’m a picky eater & this is one place I come and know I’m going to get a good meal.“

“Ive been going here for years every time I come in the city. Normally im there a few minutes before they open cause im an early bird and they have always offered to make my pizza a few minutes before opening and have the best service honestly. I willingly go to San Francisco sometimes just to visit this place as it was one of the first places I tried when visiting and I always try to stop back. Very reasonable prices as well for being able to get pizza for the slice imo which is not supper common in my city unless you go to costco. Definitely worth going to!!“
