I took my daughter and we both got the kids meal (a good size burger, sweet potato fries, a drink, and a soft chocolate chip cookie), which is actually a nice portion of food compared to kids meals at other places. “Outstanding and HUGE sandwiches that will easily feed two people or one really hungry sandwich lover. The pizza is just as delicious and like the sandwiches, the 12” feeds two people. One of the secrets to Baked is their homemade crust that doubles as bread on the sandwiches. For dessert try fresh hot churros!“

“What a Great Find! First time there and Junior took time to explain the whole menu to us. He also prepared the Delicious meal! We tried the chicken kabob, Shawarama, rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus with pita bread. Fantastic meal!!! We also watched him prepare a Wrap which was Huge. We definitely be back!!! This great little place is located in the CVS shopping center on Hollywood Way and Verdugo.“

Lol. I can't say enough great things about Lou - The French On The Block. As everyone says the croissants are even better than the ones in France, the lattes are fantastic, and the service is also incredibly warm and personable. “It's a divey local joint with a laser focus on sub sandwiches. Limited menu, all of it good. The guys taking orders and making sandwiches are genuinely happy and enjoy their work. Very friendly and personable.
I had pastrami, she had a sausage sandwich. She declared the sandwich average (marinara average, sausage ok but average). My pastrami was good for what it was but personally disappointing. They heat it in simmering broth, that washes out the salt and flavor and makes it rubbery. Best handling of pastrami IMO is to heat it on the flat top. That renders and softens some of the fat, concentrates the flavor and makes it a little crispy. Then put the cheese on top of that to melt before it goes on the bread, that's a good sandwich. Anyway...
The pepper steak is what a lot of people get, looking forward to trying it next time.“

“This is my favorite coffee shop in Burbank. The food and coffee are delicious. The customer service is exceptional. There’s plenty of seating for both individuals as well as larger groups. There’s a counter for seating as well. This is a great location to get a little bit of work done, or have a meeting. It’s also a fun place to eavesdrop on entertainment industry conversations. The day I was here there was a group of location Scouts talking about locations for different scenes of a popular TV series. There are cute little tables by the windows for one or two people. there’s decent Internet. But there are no outlets. There are also several tables outside with umbrellas for seating.“

“From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was great.

I have food allergies and they were able to accommodate me without issue. Our server, a young woman originally from Louisiana, was friendly, funny, and attentive. The indoor/outdoor vibe was spot on for a beautiful day.

The food itself was very good and just the right amount. The beer selection was varied to fit most tastes. The prices for both were in line with a mid-range restaurant in Burbank.

Being in downtown Burbank, parking was challenging for us. Even with a handicapped card I had to park over two blocks away. That was not fun but it was the same for all restaurants and shops in the area and not just Finney's - something to be aware of if you're going downtown.

I would gladly return when I'm in the area again.“
