“Neal’s Coffee Shop is one of those rare spots that still feels like a true neighborhood gem. The moment you walk in, you get that classic, old-school diner vibe—warm, welcoming, and unpretentious.
The food is consistently great, especially the breakfast. The portions are generous, everything tastes fresh, and you can tell they actually care about quality. Whether it’s pancakes, omelets, or a simple cup of coffee, it always hits the spot.
What really makes this place stand out is the service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit.
If you’re looking for a relaxed place with solid comfort food and a genuine local feel, Neal’s Coffee Shop is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back again for sure.“

“Huge shout out to Christie’s. This place has that true family owned, tight knit restaurant vibe that’s getting harder and harder to find. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the care and pride behind everything they do. The freshly squeezed orange juice is unreal bright, fresh, and exactly how it should be.
And the chicken fried steak… wow. Perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered just right it’s straight fire. This is comfort food done right, the kind that hits every note and leaves you already planning your next visit. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and the quality is consistent.
They’re also dog friendly, which makes it an even better neighborhood spot for locals. What really sets Christie’s apart though is the people friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to serve their community. It feels like a place where regulars are family and new faces are treated the same way. If you’re looking for great food, honest flavors, and that classic neighborhood restaurant energy, Christie’s is a gem in Burlingame that absolutely deserves the love.“

“What amazing find for being stuck at a hotel near SFO airport for a night. Mostly hidden in an old office park area is a kind, older, I presume Japanese couple who run this place. Everything is made to order. The sign on the door said closed Saturday but they were open and the steady steam of customers mean people know how to find it… and for good reason.“

“It’s so convenient and pretty solid!
I got a nicely sized Caesar salad that was delicious, and french fries, hot and tasty. It was $17 for the whole thing plus tax. Service was attentive and friendly. Food came out quickly. Great place to watch sports, actually, they have a big screen.“

“We arrived before our reservation time and they were able to accommodate. Our waiter was great with detailing the dishes and answering my culinary questions. Service was slow. It took nearly 25 minutes to receive cocktails. I had to inquire about appetizers which were ordered with cocktails. The GM was very present and walking the dining area but not speaking to any guests or acknowledging that they are waiting without drinks and food. The food was good. I have a different palate so my good may great for another person. The only negative was how long everything took when it wasn’t a night where there was a full house of guests. If that can improve, we may return. For context we ordered Smoked Bourbon Prickly Pear Margarita Calamari Crab & Artichoke Dip Crab Stuffed Sole topped with roasted garlic and shallot shrimp and a side of mashed potatoes Ribeye with compound butter and Cold Water Lobster Tail We switched from cocktails to wine with the main dish.“

“I was staying in this Hilton and wasn't too hungry, but decided to get something from this restaurant. I sat at the bar and was helped by the bartender as soon as he was done with another customer. I ended up having a burger with sweet potato fries and they were both great. Of course the burger wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was much better than most restaurants, the sweet potato fries were perfectly done.
I read some of the reviews of this restaurant, a couple of them were for different places in the hotel, they're not open for breakfast and they don't carry packaged goods.
Some reviewers didn't like the pricing. It's not inexpensive, but I think it was priced right. The burger and fries were $22. McDonald's and Carl's Jr. are around $15-18 these days, $22 is a good deal for a great food in a nice hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world. I had a cocktail, $16, this is the same that I pay at an average bar these days.
I thought that overall, the place was very clean and werll laid out, and the staff were all very professional. This is an area where people can get offended because you used the wrong hand to open a door, they're crazy, so to be able to find attentive, courteous, and professional employees, is amazing.
I will be staying here again, and I'll probably eat at Fire|Vine again.“

“Old school steakhouse that focuses more on flavor and large portions than variety or top quality cuts. If you're thinking Ruth's Chris or even Texas Roadhouse you're barking up the wrong tree. This is more like a diner steak, but executed very well. Your choices are prime rib or NY strip with a short list of sides (price includes salad, potato, and one vegetable). There might have been some kind of fish or mushroom option but no one is ordering it. NY Steak was large, cut about 1/2 inch thick, cooked properly, and smothered in peppercorn sauce. Prime rib was enormous. Prices were highish but fair for the portion and quality. Decor is dated but that's part of the charm. If you want to fuss over marbling and boutique cuts go somewhere else, but if you know what you're getting into this can be a great dining experience.“

“Jesus was amazing tonight.
We made a reservation for 8, but didn't need to, even though it was a Friday night.
I used to come often, but took a break, but wanted to give it another try and it did not disappoint.
We had 2 burgers, a blt, the shrimp scampi, 1 rib eye, and 2 fish n chips. Everything tastes as it should. Appetizer platter with brussel sprouts wings and potato skins.
Jesus read our minds on several occasions.
I'll have to put this back in my rotation. As far as hotel restaurants go, this is one is a hidden gem.
Reluctant to share my opinion bc I want to keep it to myself, but doing it for Jesus, since he was such a delight tonight.
I will say, it was a little pricey. $480 for a party of 8, with 1 kids meal. But a really nice experience overall.“

“This is a convenient location inside the hotel.
I got food and drinks and while the food was good, there are much better options out there. Next time I’m here, I’ll stick with drinks.
The views are good, the bartender and others working are great and plenty of space inside out outside.“

“We stayed at the Grand Hyatt at San Francisco Airport for three nights and had breakfast at the restaurant every morning. The service was amazing, and Ersdale was especially helpful, welcoming, and always smiling. You could really see his passion for his work. The food was delicious, and the excellent service made every breakfast a very enjoyable experience.“

“BG is a gorgeous restaurant, with well prepared food, and live music/jazz, most days of the week. Owners are very personable and hands-on, which is rare, amongst restaurants. Great place for special occasions or just a night out with your favorite person/people. Share a great experience, without a shocking price tag!“
