“Wow this was such an amazing vineyard! We did the hilltop experience and upgraded our tasting to the Library Tasting and the Cab Sav tasting. Was fun to do something different and share both experiences. The gondola's were fun! Very clean and easy to use and a great addition to see Napa Valley. The team were all lovely, very friendly and welcoming and helpful. But I would add that they gave us the right amount of space to spend time chatting about the wines on our own. Loved the gift shop - great additions to the wine purchases. Highly recommend this as a stop whilst in Napa Valley!“

“My boyfriend David and I did a tasting led by Lin, and wow it was an AMAZING experience. The wine, especially the estate Cabernet Sauvignon, was delicious - 97% cab sav varietal vs the min closer to 75%. Learned about the history, recent vintages (Lin’s been there for 7 years), and tried a variety of different styles / wines, including their famous judgement of Paris Chardonnay. Had a great time and enjoyed it more than the other vineyard we visited.“
“Fantastic wine experience! Our host Tony was knowledgeable and did a great job providing us with background and walking us through each varietal. The number of varietals available for tasting made this experience a great value and the quality of each wine were phenomenal! Our favorites included the Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, and several of the Cabernet Sauvignon. We enjoyed sitting in the shade on the deck overlooking the winery. It couldn't have been a better experience. Thank you again to Tony and the entire crew at Venge for such a wonderful experience!“

“We had a delightful wine tasting experience at Schramberg! Super knowledgeable staff, beautiful garden, delicious bubbles, and hundreds of thousands of aging champagne bottles... If you don't know how champagne or sparkling wine is made, the tasting tour is both educational and exceptional! I loved how they preserved certain historical artifacts, showed photos from the 1800s when the winery was first built, and also the fact that the cave was carved to turn into a winery. But don't let me spoil all the cool stuff you will learn.
The only thing missing was some cheese/crackers at a 9 am tasting!“

“Envy is a delightful experience from top to bottom. Casual yet elegant, very welcoming and warm. Lacy led our tasting and her knowledge of the wine and the area is unmatched. The wines were wonderful esp their Petite Syrah. We also enjoyed the Rosé. We loved having a light lunch on their patio and we could even see Old Faithful when it spouted. We rented bikes in downtown Calistoga and had an easy ride to this lovely property. Thank you for a great day.“

“We visited Brian Arden winery for the Chef Experience, and it was truly amazing! As soon as we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome - especially Angel who gave us a tour of the facility. The food and wine pairings by chef Mitchel were exceptional! 10/10 highly recommended“

“This was my husband & I'd first stop upon arriving in Napa Valley and we couldn't have had a better time! Christian, the manager, greeted us and was so welcoming our entire stay. We sat outside on the back patio and did the Portfolio tasting which was excellent. The Viognier and the Cab were particularly good! I'll the grapes are local to Calistoga, and it's owner founded & run which I always love supporting. I would highly recommend you pop by, as reservations aren't needed!“

“Amazing tasting experience with Matt (owner). Our group came near closing and Matt was patient and showed his true passion for wine throughout the tasting. He wasn’t pushy to get us out the door. We had great conversation learning about the history of the company and wine making process. The wine was outstanding and our group purchased a few bottles. “We just completed our most recent visit to Laura Michael Wines in late October 2024 and, as always, it was a fantastic experience. We were served by Laura and enjoyed tasting and learning about several of the estate's wines. We keep coming back to Laura Michael Wines because the variety and quality of the wines is great and both Laura and Michael are a great source of knowledge about wine which if, like us, you are looking to understand the details and nuances of wine, is important. Among their collection, they have a great Zinfandel, a several great Cabs and a blend called "A Quiet Moment" that is perfect for just sipping on an autumn day. We highly recommend
Laura Michael Wines and look forward to our next visit.“

“Went on a Monday afternoon to meet a friend while visiting the area. The outdoor seating is gorgeous with plenty of space, and we basically had the entire area to ourselves. The server for the wine tasting experience was great! He was very informative about all the different wines we had the pleasure of trying, and even gave us a bonus taste of a more aged wine. The price was average for a wine tasting experience, so overall it was a great time. Would definitely go again given the chance!“
“I was curious about Checkerboard Vineyards so my wife and I made an appointment to visit and tour the winery. Long story short, it was the highlight of our visit to the Napa Valley. Gary, our guide, walked us through the cave and gave us an overview of the property. He also provided a truly fantastic tasting experience with knowledgeable insights and great descriptions of the wines from each of the vineyards on the property. We really appreciated the singular attention during our visit along with great conversation. I highly recommend this winery tour and their wines!“

“This place was AMAZING! While visiting Napa Valley did the whole wine tasting experience, and was not disappointed. This was some of the tastiest wine I've ever had. Especially the pinot noir. Our server for wine tasting was exceptional. Moreover, the grounds are spectacular. There is a full chapel and tasting room and castle that make you feel like you are really in Tuscany. The grounds have animals including goats and emus. The beauty of this place is breathtaking. I will be dreaming about it.“
“What an amazing tasting! The location is gorgeous and secluded; our tasting was strategiacally placed to give us a beautiful view of the Mayacamas. Our host, Wilson, was the most knowledgeable host / sommelier we have ever had the pleasure of spending time with. “Visited the winery back on June 14, 2018 for a tasting. Beautiful winery and caves. Friendly service. Reasonable tasting fee. Large selection of delicious wines including a white Malbec. Did not meet the owner but he had an interesting history and background. The statues in the cave along with music and stain glass windows was a perfect way to end the tour. Purchased some wine for my collection. Received today and it was well packaged. I would go back again in the future. Great photo opportunity in the caves to remember your visit.“

“I want to express my deepest gratitude for the kindness and compassion the Tank Garage Winery staff showed me during a very difficult time in my life. My late husband was an original founding club member, and after his sudden passing last year, the thoughtful gestures from the Tank Garage staff truly touched my heart. Their generosity and support meant the world to me, and I will always be forever grateful for the goodwill they extended to me during that challenging period.
I continue to cherish the memories of my husband's love for Tank's wines, which I’ve always considered a work of art. I look forward to enjoying them for many years to come, as they now hold even more sentimental value.
