“New Years Eve 2025 was amazing. The BBQ pork ribs were smoked, meaty and the sauce was delicious. Hope this is the recipe that will be used in the future as well. The band was fun and played music from the 70s up. For New Years reservations were required so the place wasn’t over crowded.
This is a family owned business and the entire family did a wonderful job providing an excellent experience bringing in the New Year.

“Ordered the mixed BBQ plate and a few musubi on the go. The portion for the plate is generous and the size of the musubi is good. However, the taste of the food is generally okay without any pleasant surprises. It is definitely a go to place for getting good food at great prices.“

“This place has been on our radar for a while and we finally made it in on a Sunday right when they opened at 4 PM. We were literally the first ones through the door and right away, we knew we were in good hands.

The first thing we noticed was how immaculately clean the place was. The second was Paul. I believe he’s the manager and honestly, he made the whole experience memorable. From the moment we walked in, he greeted us like we were regulars and not first-timers. Even though we’ve done Mongolian BBQ before, he still walked us through everything with genuine energy. You can tell he truly cares that every customer has a great meal.

It’s rare these days to find someone who takes that kind of pride in their role. Paul clearly loves what he does and it shows in every interaction.

As for the food, it’s exactly what you want from a Mongolian BBQ spot. Fresh, crisp vegetables, quality meats, and a setup where you build your own bowl exactly how you like it. What stood out right away was how clean the food bar was. Everything looked fresh and well-maintained.

The sauce station is tucked along the back wall, and again, Paul was right there to offer some pro tips. He explained that the sauces are a little lighter in consistency, and that’s intentional. It gives you the flexibility to load up on flavor while still allowing the heat to steam the meat and crisp the vegetables properly. And yes, it definitely worked. The bowl came out perfect.

The cooks were fast, friendly, and focused. No long waits. They’ve clearly got the process down. After your food is cooked, there’s a small station with extra toppings like sesame seeds and additional sauces. Soy sauce is already waiting at your table, which was a nice touch.

We went for a second round, and once again Paul came by to check in and encourage us to change up our mix a bit. That little suggestion made the second round even better than the first. We also grabbed a few egg rolls. They were hot, golden, and full of flavor. Definitely worth adding on.

To finish, we had to try the soft serve. Let me just say, this was not your typical filler ice cream. It was creamy, smooth, and actually tasted like real vanilla. You could tell it wasn’t the cheap kind that comes out of a giant bulk machine. It was the perfect way to end the meal.

For a restaurant that’s been around over 40 years, it’s incredible how fresh and well-run everything still feels. Between the food quality, the clean environment, and the genuine hospitality, we left full and happy.

“What a hidden gem! I work just down the street and was looking for a place that had a simple bowl of protein and rice that wasn’t too expensive. Found this place on Yelp and seeing the good reviews I went to try it out, so glad I did!! I was shocked that I was able to get a decent size BBQ chicken bowl for just $15.00. Nowadays that’s unheard of. The owner was really welcoming and sweet. Highly recommend!!“

From my first phone call to our delivery and set up these people take care of their customers. Thank you so much. The food was fantastic!! “We've come to the age where we value quality over quantity when it comes to food; gone are the days of overstuffing ourselves at AYCE locations. As a result, we're always in search of new restaurants where the food really hits the spot and leaves us feeling satisfied. One of my friends recommended Baekjeong, as it was his favorite and go-to kbbq spot in the bay area. I was able to book a same-day reservation for our party of 6, and we ordered 2 large beef combos. The staff cooks the meat for you, and provides around 6 banchans and 2 salad types. Our server was Risa, who was super friendly and attentive, and we felt right at home with her. She kept everything running smoothly and made us feel so welcome. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Since then, many days have passed, but I'll have moments where I think back and crave the food we had at Baekjeong. I'm always looking forward to the next time I can come back.

Additional notes: Free wifi is available. Restaurant is on the exterior of Valley Fair mall. Parking is by the Stevens Creek parking garage with a short walk through the mall; most of the parking directly in front is only for the bank. Entrance is on the first floor, but restaurant is on the second floor with both stairs and elevator access. There usually is a host downstairs at the entrance to admit you, and you wait in the waiting room upstairs. They give a free soda to designated drivers!“

The grills on the table were warming trays and the skewers were brought to the table fully cooked. It's definitely an experience and has traditional Chinese street vendor BBQ vibes although the quality of the ingredients is average. They do have some unique prepared dishes which I enjoyed from the vermicelli garlic scallops and oysters that were super tasty.“

It's the covered restaurant right there in the left. You can't tell because the sign is for the restaurant they share the eating space with.Menu is very limited but it's well prepare and good.Lumpia is fresh; he rolls and then deep fries them right there. The chicken with garlic rice is tasty. The garlic rice is actually white rice topped with toasted garlic. Try the pork and tocino skewers.“

There's no restroom available and no free water.The cheese ramen is a delicious surprise - creamy, with a smidge of spice. The sandwiches are a pile of meat on bread, no veggies and sides are extra. I got the King sandwich, which is a pile of pork rib meat and hot links on a simple white bread roll. It was very good, but I'd like to add kimchi next time for some variety.“

“Olioli has a great hawaiian food menu and the service is awesome. Our favorite is the Loco Moco and Bbq Mix and typically order online for pick up.

The atmosphere is the only problem as there are sometimes homeless roaming or hanging out nearby. This isn't the fault of the business per say and more of the shopping area. Otherwise the quality of the food is great and that's what really matters.

The dining area can be improved but I love the old school hawaiian posters and gives that island vibe. We love coming here when the family is craving some good hawaiian food.

“Reservations are required for roast duck, and the duck rack is made into soup. The two large steamed buns stewed in an iron pot were extremely soft and the dough rose very well. We, a table of Shandongese, loved them. The meatballs taste better after absorbing the soup. The whole-fish pancakes also have the flavor of my hometown, and the fish soup is like the braised sauce made by my mother after adding bean paste. Braised pork is also my favorite. You need to scan the code on the table to order food, and the robot delivers the food, so there is no tip. I went there twice and I can feel that the owner and his wife are very nice. There was a lot left over after 5 people finished eating, and together with half of the roast duck that was not in the picture, it was 189.“

“A popular Korean BBQ restaurant that has been around for many years in the Koreatown of Santa Clara. They have four sets of menu for 2-4 people. The waitress would ask you to pick out the meats as soon as you enter the door before you sit down at the table. Our waitress recommended brisket, pork belly, bulgogi (sliced beef), and galbi (beef short ribs), as well as the steamed egg for the kids. We also added a spicy BBQ chicken. The brisket and pork belly were a bit dry but still pretty tasty; the bulgogi tasted a bit too sweet; the galbi and the spicy BBQ chicken were the best. You can dip the meats in four different kinds of sauces (fermented bean sauce, soy sauce, spicy sauce, and sesame oil). Their side dishes were all very good. The set also cane with a seafood pancake and kimchi fried rice or plain rice. There was a lot of food for the set. We barely finished everything. Service was very efficient.“
