“I cannot sing their praises enough!First and foremost, it's evident that they prioritize quality above all else, and it truly sets them apart from the competition. But it's not just about the açai bowls; it's the entire experience that makes Sambazon stand out. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The customer service here is unmatched, thanks to the incredible team led by Brad, Tiffany, David, and every other person working there. They're not just staff; they're rays of sunshine who brighten up your day with their smiles and friendly demeanor.“

“Been wanting to try this place for a while and so glad we made the time to go!
We added our name to the waitlist online when we woke up so we can leisurely get ready and walk our pups. By then, our table was ready!
The food was fantastic. We loved everything that we ordered. Amazing service and a great tiny kitchen with fresh seasonal produce.“

“Great little pit stop for coffee and work! Free wifi, chill music, great vibes.
Nutella acai bowl is what's pictured under their outdoor seating area. Arguably the best acai around straight from the source??
Dog friendly, limited parking spots shared with the motel, but plenty across the street. Ask about their rewards punch card?
Vegetarian options: Sandwiches are only meat options.
Kid-friendliness: Outdoors
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or curb“

“I read the Necessity Coffee story and the thing that struck me was the idea about making a connection. So from the moment I walked in I was watching and feeling for the vibe. It was 100% there, authentic community connection with such a friendly atmosphere. That’s so not true of many coffee shops I try. Kudos to Necessity for living up to your mission. I had a vanilla cold brew from the tap that was really great! I never go to the same place twice when traveling but I may break my rule tomorrow!
Kid-friendliness: Easy atmosphere and lots of outdoor space for kiddos to hang out.“

“I love this place and the sweet people who work here! My favorite meal is the trifecta of a basil chicken wrap, naked salad, and the best carrot ginger soup ever! It’s not on the regular menu anymore, but can be requested as it’s still in their computer listing. The new back grass patio dining area beneath giant old pines is a hidden treasure that opened during CoVid.“

“Our party of seven was seated promptly in the back. Fun model cars surrounded our table. I had chorizo and eggs. The serving was huge and fresh off the griddle. Fresh salsa and tortillas rounded out my plate.
The pancakes were rich and fluffy.
Not chic, but great comfort food.“

“A friend took me here for lunch. We had our dogs with us at the Del Mar dog Beach so we needed a place where they are welcomed. This place was perfect with shaded outdoor seating, free dog treats, and a water bowl.
We ordered at the front counter and food was brought to our table. We found a table in the back.
The drinks were delicious. My friends really like their matcha tea drink. The superfood bowl was quite big too. The croissant turkey sandwich I got was delicious as well. We were all pretty happy with what we ordered.
There is a small parking lot at the restaurant. I was lucky enough to nab the last spot. My friends weren't so lucky and had to seek parking elsewhere on the very busy Cedros Ave.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lofty Coffee in Encinitas is an absolute gem! Hidden away on a private hill just off the main road, it’s the perfect spot to relax, work, or just soak in the vibe with a great cup of coffee. The seating areas are super chill, whether you're grabbing your morning brew or a tasty afternoon bite.
I was beyond excited when I saw they had VENEZUELAN chocolate! ?? Being from Venezuela, I had to try it, and let me tell you, it was BOMB ?! If you're a chocolate lover, you can't miss it.
I went with a classic croissant ?—flaky, buttery, and delicious. My girlfriend had a chia acai bowl that was bursting with flavor—super refreshing and exactly what we were looking for in a quick pitstop.
Highly recommend this place! It's definitely a 5-star spot... or should I say, 5 coffees ☕️!
Parking: Had a couple of parking spots, since it is on a hill, there aren't that many.
Kid-friendliness: It is a great environment to just sit and relax. Although there is nothing kid specific, I saw a lot of families just enjoying the view and eating.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of space for wheelchairs, tables on concrete, sit in the shade and enjoy the view.“
“I love coming to this café! The lattes are always perfectly made, and the atmosphere is so cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure. It's my go-to spot for a great cup of coffee. Highly recommend!“

“We had an outstanding, fun lunch at The Tavern last Saturday. The outdoor seating by the bustling Cedros Avenue reminds us of Euro cafes. Joy was our server and bartender - she is really pleasant and certainly helped make our experience a great one. She also makes a wonderful Bloody Mary! We enjoyed the guacamole/chips which were both fresh and homemade. Additionally, we had the lobster dumplings - the port wine sauce is superb. Thanks again for a great time and we will continue to come back.“

“Shining light in the new world of boring chains. Fresh pastries that are divine and different every day. The menu doesn’t do justice to the choices. Also the atmosphere is like being in a French cafe with lots of nice private seating indoors and out.“

“Great coffee, great food, and service adequate, the feedback is to clean up the outside and keep it clean. Pressure wash the spills and such, pickup trash, maintain the flower beds, etc. It's not bad, but ciedros kind of demands you step it up and keep it perfect. And your entry walkway has two tables sitting in it, making it inconvenient to access the place. The dog water bowl outside was empty and dirty. If I'm the owner, that patio area is clean, easy to access, and colorful because Lofty down the street is.“

“This spot is definitely gorgeous for a coffee break. Awesome view and clearly a local student/staff favorite. They grilled our egg salad sandwich in the panini maker and the iced matcha latte was delicious. The crew here helpful And warm. Also very quick. I only wish there was more “bar style” seating for those who tend to linger for hours on their own instead of taking up a whole table. It’s been super crowded with no seating the last few months bc people tend to stay for hours working. Which I totally understand. But for a UCSD alum like me, I may just wanna sit for half an hour maybe an hour at most and often there is no seating. That’s my only suggestion. Add single person searing. But I’ll definitely be back and hope to come before a “rush”. The line can get very long. (I get it. I used to work in a cafe at the Price Center and it was crazy there). Also would Love if they stayed open later. One can only hope.“

“I have worked and eaten in hospital and medical center complexes for more than 30 years, and this place has the best food and service of any such place by far. The menu is far-ranging, including great salads, sandwiches, wraps, burritos, pizzas, pasta, soups, smoothies, coffee, and more. They are always busy because employees and patients come from all the hospitals to eat here, but they are unfailingly professional, friendly, and fast. Food is served hot with good quality ingredients. Try the chipotle chicken rice bowl, penne bolognese, turkey wrap, or a tuna salad sandwich on wheat. I have eaten lunch here most days since the building opened new (seven years ago), and everything I've had is honestly good. Not your typical hospital cafeteria food! The staff is impressively hard working and remembers everyone's names and special orders, always working to provide whatever you want. Give them all raises, for goodness sake! Gotta go now. My black bean chili and strawberry banana smoothie await. ?“
“I had the acai super berry bowl. Now, first things first, it IS pricey ($14.95!), BUT it is huge! Acts as a full meal or share it w someone. The best parts: it’s consistent (I had it 4 days in a row while visiting Del Mar), and you can add protein powder (I added whey), which a lot places don’t accommodate. The granola that comes w it is just the right amount and is super tasty - Total homerun!“

“Parking is rough. Lox bagel was a bit salty beyond the capers. Passion fruit tea wasn't Passion fruit, they were nice and switched me out to coffee. Can't rember the sandwich we ordered but it was on a ciabatta bread. It was good but the bread was a little too hard for my taste. Beach is close but was expecting a bit more of a view. My daughter's been 3X's from Lakeside so I was expecting more. She said it's the breakfast you go for. I'll give it another go. We walked around after lunch and got a Parking ticket too. My fault, we went over the 3 hrs. I'll remember next time to move my truck.“
“First come, first serve. It’s a nice place. kind of tight to back into as you’ll be backing off of a small somewhat busy road. two docks, one truck unloading/loading at a time. fast crew though. you’ll be able to find parking on the side of the street, which is a nice plus.“

“Simply amazing! My husband and I frequent Naked. The food is awesome, and the service is amazing. We thought we would post a review of a visit we made there a few days ago. When we walked into the restaurant, (early 8:00 am) for breakfast, there was a table that had already been serviced with about 14-16 people. Michael, the manager was already taking their order. When he was finished taking their order, he came over to our table to take ours. He told us that there was a large table before us, so it might be a while before we received our order. Surprisingly enough, within in 10 minutes!, no lie, the large table was being served their orders and at the SAME time, our order came out as well. I don’t know how they do it. We love coming to Naked! Thank you Michael and staff!!! Kim & Tony“

“Top notch is every single way. They have an incredible brunch in a beautiful restaurant with very pleasant outdoor seating options. We had an incredible protein packed almond butter and cacao smoothie, a super flavorful chilaquiles omelette, a veggie packed greens sandwich, and the indulgent hot breakfast wrap. Every bite was better than the last.
I highly recommend this cafe. It's a healthy restaurant with a great variety of options. This vegetarian friendly, brunch, lunch, and dinner spot is now my go to place to eat. Whether you want Mexican food, fresh food, or just something delicious, OGA is the best restaurant near me!

“Really appreciated that they had a vegan option and knew what they were doing (the receipt stated that the brioche bun would be ciabatta, mayo would be subbed for plant-based mayo, cheese would be vegan cheese). It was really good, more than the typical burger, even with added arugula. Well-priced, great service, wonderful ambiance.“

“Rose Hill Purveyors in Cardiff, California, may be a tiny place, but it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the team was incredibly professional and attentive. The quality of care and the attention to detail were evident throughout my visit.
It's hard to put into words, but sometimes, the best experiences don't need a photo—just the memory of satisfaction, like two empty cups and plates after an amazing meal. That's the feeling I left with: completely fulfilled and knowing I made the right choice.
If you're on the fence about visiting, just go for it. Trust me, it's worth it!“
