“Words cannot express how much i appreciate Le Soufflé . The food, service and ambience were 5++ stars. The sugar pea salad was delightfully light , followed by the crab soufflé and finished by a passion fruit/mango soufflé. Wowwwww !
And I am very hard to please.“

“Absolutely fantastic restaurant and a breath of fresh air in the Carmel culinary community. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. The space is refreshingly chic and relaxing. The tables are spaced apart to allow for conversation and there's no rush to finish your meal. You are encouraged to linger and enjoy the best meal in Carmel!“

“From the prompt service to the delicious food, this was a terrific experience. Our server, Mark, went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of. He even let me sample some different wines to make sure I got something I was happy with. The oysters were delicious, as was everything else we had. It was also one of the more affordable meals I’ve had in Carmel. Definitely recommend!“

We got vegetarian bowl and 2 broccoli cheddar soups unfortunately were disappointed with taste. Very plain. And we eat this type of food all the time.
With kids meal fruits were so-so and our san didn’t eat quesadillas that he usually is a fan of.
Great location, nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff.“

“Highly recommend!! We had a 90th birthday dinner for my mom with 11 people. Everything was superb! Outstanding service, excellent food and drinks. Outside terrace is pretty and even allowed our 2 dogs. Superb! Thank you to Z and the wonderful staff, everything was perfect!!!👍“

“The menu features a range of (real) Mexican favorites and delivers beautifully with an emphasis on the delicious, well-balanced sauces that make each dish. The service was professional and kind but with long gaps where empty glasses were left on the table and nobody checking in. (The restaurant was not busy at the time.) This is definitely an area for improvement to match the price point and food quality.“

“Let me be clear. I do not write glowing reviews, especially for Mexican food. This is something we make at home, always better, cheaper and tastier. There are so many Mexican places out there it is hard for one to stand out. Island Tacos is a standout. I had the Mahimahi burrito and the tofu street taco. Wow, I was blown away. One of my new favorite places to eat. In Carmel at the Crossroads, go figure. Not where I would look for a place to eat, especially with Salinas and Castroville so close by. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE.“

“Great central Carmel location amongst galleries, bakeries, coffee shops, bookstores etc. In good weather ask for the patio they take reservations by inside vs outside. Great atmosphere out there… old building, stucco, vines, etc. It was cool but they have plenty of heaters. Great food… had bruschetta appetizer which is loaded with diced tomatoes and smoked flavor (grilled bread). Also the di stefano salad, it has crispy goat cheese, roasted beets and fig-balsamic dressing. Excellent, highly recommended! Had the cioppino which was excellent. Good wine list. Eat here lunch OR dinner.“

“I showed up in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday. Nobody there except my server who was very kind. I hung out for a bit waiting for my pizza and what followed was me wishing I had paid more for it! Holy smokes. I got it to go but took a bite when I got to my car. This is a work of art and a delicious pie! Muchas gracias! I will be back sooner than later!“

“Highly recommend, great vibes, Carmel modern style, extremely clean, great small plates to eat and relax. Fire pits outside to make it cozy, relaxing yet romantic. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They can cater to whatever music you’re into. Fabulous and extensive wine selection. Great for any day and any time. Romantic date night setting or business casual meetings. Perfect little hidden gem.

“We had very nice anniversary dinner at Stationaery. We sat outside, since we still do not feel comfortable for an indoor seating due to pandemic. The evening was cool, but heating lamps made it comfortable for longer and leisure meal. Both food and service were excellent. We highly recommend this friendly restaurant and will be back for sure🤩“
