“I had a wonderful experience at Roots Indian Bistro. I reached quite late, even after closing hours, but the staff still welcomed and accommodated me so warmly without making me feel rushed at all.

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. Kudos to the owners, management, and entire staff for creating such a fantastic dining experience. The food was excellent, the service polished yet genuinely friendly, and the bar and dining room had a charming, welcoming atmosphere.

The menu is thoughtfully crafted, with plenty of delicious options. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and personable—always a combination I appreciate.

One thing I always check when trying a new restaurant is the condition of the restrooms. In my experience, clean bathrooms often reflect a well-run kitchen. Felix Trattoria checked that box as well.

Next, I’m not a fan of blueberry and prefer strawberry but the worker said it’s pretty good so I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did. I got a plain bagel with blueberry smear and it was delicious. It didn’t taste like blueberry too much. I really liked it.“

Environment/ambience: smallish place with few tables and some outdoor seating. No TVs inside; not too loud inside. Pets allowed but prob outdoor only. Clean restrooms. Lots of things to see and visit around too; downtown Culver City has things within walking distance and outdoor grass areas to hang out around
Service: was great; came around often. Friendly too.
Food: had the W Chashu Ramen with egg; they do not serve alcohol here.
Cost: ~$140 with tip; $2 parking.
Would I go back (yes/no): 80/20; parking can be a hassle but food was great“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“
