“I love the food. Fast Service and friendly . I recommend this place. The food is great.”
“What a find! Completely unexpected gem in Chula Vista. Food was absolutely amazing. My garlic noodles with pork belly was the best pork belly I've ever had. By far. The cut of pork and preparation were perfect. My UK coworker gave a huge 2 thumbs up for their fish and chips. Said it was legit. Another coworker raved about their bao buns. Drinks from the bar were great as well. A must visit when in San Diego.”

Will be back when in town to visit .Food was cooked to order which is a plus.

I love it so much I took the time to write this review lol. Dumplings and wontons are amazing! Pleeeease get the wonton soup and chilli wonton my two favorite!!!! TOP NOTCH! Soup dumpling and pork dumpling amazing and to finish off, the sweet golden buns ?? yuuuuum! The servers are always very nice and attentive and service is fast. we always leave with a smile and are so happy to have a place we can go for dumplings so close to us now! Go! you won’t regret it!”

“We had the chance to try the banana crème latte, and it was absolutely delicious! The café may be small, but it has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. I’m so glad we stopped by, the only downside is that we live too far away to visit more often.”
“I'm giving it 4 stars because lately, the tortillas taste OLD. Before the tacos were soft, not chewy. The tostadas were breakable and crunchy. Lately, they are not that breakable and crunchy. The service is excellent!
Wheelchair accessibility: They have both low tables with removable chairs and pub tables with stools. For a wheelchair or walker with a seat, you can just remove a chain.”
“Yummy food. Had the 805 fries and #5 Lumpia”
“atmosphere was great server was super friendly had a variety of appetizers all where off the hook definitely will revisit”
“I can’t say enough about how exceptional the Stormtrooper cake was that Sylvia created! It was for a May The 4th Be With You themed block party. It was a hit! Sylvia’s creations are truly a masterpiece. And the cake was delicious with a great flavor and filling selection. Highly recommend!”

“Walked by many times going to the AMC theater. We usually eat at a pizza kitchen nearby. They had more empty tables then used tables and said 20 minutes so we walked out. 5pm on 9/1/24. At Savoie, we ordered our standard meat/veggie pizza and chicken fettuccine alfredo. Standard at multiple places we go. Overall I felt under dressed in shorts and a T shirt. But no one cared. Sat us and served us. All staff were friendly and professional. The pizza here was about 2x the weight as next door and similar price. Way more cheese and toppings, delicious!! The pasta was a bit tastier but a little more $ than next door. But the price here was worth the quality and quantity!! I think we found our new dinner spot after a movie. I would want a bigger water glass, they had to fill it like 5x. lol I wasn't sure what to expect from the outside, but it was better than expected. So Thanks Pizza Kitchen for the referral to our new spot to eat out!!”
“Conozco Casa Don Diego desde hace muchos años, mí esposo trabajo aquí cuando eran otros dueños, pero siempre ha mantenido lo auténtico en sus platillos, hoy su ambiente es aún más agradable, sus noches de Karaoke, su DJ, Moises Naranjo, es de lo más profesional, agradezco su atención, cordura y tolerancia cuando hay quienes demanda atención especial y con prepotencia y groserías pierde el control y educación. Pero estos son gajes del oficio. La comida y atención exquisitas. Ampliamente recomendado!!!”
“Great buffet experience! The food was delicious with a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes, from fresh salads to savory hot dishes and tasty desserts. Service was impressively fast and efficient – staff kept everything well-stocked, and tables were quickly cleared. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food and quick service in a relaxed, self-serve setting.”
“Really excellent food! The beef short ribs just melt in your mouth! Everything was soo good! Good choice of sides. I enjoyed my meal soo much. It's a lot of fun to grill your meat at your table. We had brisket, pork belly, which is basically a thick wide cut of bacon. Yum! Now I'll get to a few more things that I feel need improvement. Their chairs are uncomfortable! See photo. Hard as a rock. This place is all you can eat and the chairs ensure you don't stick around. I recommend bringing a seat cushion. Smell, must be the cleaning products they used but I detected a slight smell of urine. No Korean beer! Like how do you have a Korean restaurant and not serve Korean beer? I highly recommend a draft beer to go with your meal. Grilled meat goes excellent with a cold one. I would still come back here as my family and I had quite an enjoyable time . The smell eventually goes away . I like this place and plan to return. Oh, I forgot to mention that a robot brings your food. It's the cutest thing. My granddaughter got a real kick out of it. They also play awesome music. H.E.R. Ella Mai, Sza, and Cardi B. My favorites! We were eating to the beat! Lol. So come on down and get some great BBQ. Worth every dime.
Parking: Nice size parking lot but fills up fast”

“This iconic Taco shop has been serving flavorful and memorable food for years!!! When growing up, Roberto's was always a treat for our family. And to this day, when family fly in from out of state, the first thing they want is food from here. Yes, it is a Taco shop, but to many people who grew up in South San Diego before the boom of Taco shops at every main street, this was the place to go!!!”
“I love the atmosphere, is a good mexican sushi spot. The food is so tasty and the service is excellent with affordable prices.
I'll be back for sure.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Perfection! I love that minis are an option, you can enjoy a treat but not have to stick with one flavor. The staff at this location are top notch. They are all laughing and having fun with each other, while I waited for my order I saw probably 8 people come in and they welcomed every single person. Then as I picked up my order, they kindly surprised me with the original pink icing cookie so I could experience it. 10/10, will absolutely come again!”
“My family stopped here for dinner and everything was delicious! The service was amazing, they were very sweet, attentive, and fast! We ordered orange chicken, egg rolls, fried dumpling, noodles, and fried rice - everything was perfect. We will stop by again if we are in the area.”

“Suspiros Cakes Chula Vista CA are delicious!!! Go in person to check out their many incredible flavors. The staff is incredibly friendly (English and Spanish speaking) and takes the time to find you your perfect cake. I ordered the carrot cake and choco crema/pinguino cakes for my wedding-- all the guests raved about how good they were! It is great that some flavors are offered in 1/4 or 1/2 sheets. Gracias a Suspiros Cakes Chula Vista CA!”
“They served amazing food I actually ordered pray trays from them when I did a surprised 70th birthday party in February 2020 before Covid hit us chef Andy and khara both came personally and delivered to us hope they still remembered me .. we had our party at the marina village room! Highly recommended food!”
“Best Thai food in SD and Mama is so sweet and attentive. The spice level is real hot and goes from 1-10 but a 2 is a 7 at other Thai restaurants. I made the mis8of ordering a 4 heat level and she warned me and I paid the price of sweating on the spot so I now order my food at a 2 which is perfect for me.”
“El Pollo Loco, H Street never seem to fail me on having my favorite! Chicken meals! The crew are very nice and always courteous with their customer, i myself experienced those , treatment that you we’re one of their family that they’re going take care of you’ for the rest of your dine in’ and i was surprise with the new renovations ‘ it was so aesthetic! Very instragrammable! Even before! But now! Way better! Kudos! El Pollo Loco !

“So we went twice. The first time we were literally stacked. Doubled meat, doubled spicy pickles - insanely good. Second time, it was good but there was an obvious language barrier b/c the second sandwich didn’t look anything like the one in this photo. But overall, if you get a person that understands what double up means, this place is a have to have as far as grilled cheeses go. The buffalo chicken fries (had the ranch been remembered in the Togo bag) are worth a try!”
“My husband and I enjoyed the pastries, Matcha and chai tea from this location. We purchased the strawberry and blueberry cake slices and they were really good. Not overly sweetened, moist and delectable. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been. The inside is a little small, but the service and products are great.”
“Texas BBQ Baby Back ribs has been my favorite eversince, followed by Chicken Cajun Pasta. But yes, everything else is as good. And to top it all, I always feel the royalty touch everytime I get my lava cake and having the staffs sing "Happy Biirthday" to me while I blow my candles! Cheers 🎉”
“Good food, the place is very small so there are several people, you can buy it to take away and eat, for example, on an outing to the beach or the park.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, but the place is very small so it is preferable for adults only or also, order take-out and eat somewhere out on the town if there are little ones.
Wheelchair accessibility: The same thing happens as if you have little ones, it's better to order takeaway.”
“Service and food is exceptional. This is our to go place when we are in town from AZ.”

“Great food and cooked at the moment!! I came here to SD for short vacations with my family, and we wanted something for dinner at the hotel, so drove here and great service and surprised that when I ordered food was cooked in that moment, great taste and portions for a very good price! Highly recommended!”
“La Moreliana Bakery offers a delightful experience with their incredibly delicious and fresh bread selections. The aroma alone draws you in, and the taste does not disappoint. The variety of choices available is impressive, catering to different preferences and cravings. One of the standout features is the bakery's commitment to offering great prices without compromising on quality. You'll find that your money goes a long way here, allowing you to indulge in their delectable treats without breaking the bank. The only drawback I encountered was the parking situation, which proved to be a bit challenging. Finding a suitable parking spot can be quite the task, especially during peak hours. However, the inconvenience of parking is overshadowed by the exceptional bakery offerings. In summary, La Moreliana Bakery is a haven for bread enthusiasts. With their fantastic assortment of fresh bread, wallet-friendly prices, and an array of options to choose from, it's a must-visit for anyone with a love for baked goods. Just be prepared for a potential parking adventure!”
“Tucked in a corner known mostly to locals, Garcia's Mexican Food is a hidden gem I discovered through social media. It's small, with limited parking, offering both cozy indoor seating and take-out. Opting for the carne asada plate, I was quickly served by the friendly staff. The food, especially the carne asada, had a great flavor to it. The flour tortillas that came with my meal were also very tasty.Owned by a welcoming family, this place adds a personal touch to the dining experience. I'm looking forward to returning for breakfast. If you're after a spot that feels exclusive and serves great food, Garcia's is it.”
“This place is amazing hidden gem pizzeria here near the Sunbow area in Chula Vista. Technically in the Bon Vivant neighborhood, but it's a local business with a local spirit and when you go you'll be sure to notice other locals crowiding the buisness. I went on a Tuesday at 1 PM and the place was poppin, not overcrowded but full of ambiance and business. I went for the more affordable and smaller of their offering (There full pies are probably great but 20$ and their size are way too much for lil old me to handle) The combo was economic and I liked that they had many pizza option slices to choose from. This time I chose the Jalapeño Pepperoni and Garlic Mushroom Ricotta pizza slices, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was. They quickly popped my slices in the over, and served them up in a paper plate. I asked for togo for some reason, and they quickly covered it with a paper bag horizontally and sent me on my way. The drinks was a bit smaller than what I was anticipating, so I just opted to take a seat and enjoy the slices inside the buisness. Despite the realitivrky small size of the joint, they managed to fit lots of tables so finding a spot wasn't too much of an issue, and I was able to leave my food and go to the bathroom quickly without any hastle. It's a regular bathroom and the whole shop feels very no frills and mom and pop. They have a toppings (crushed pepper and parmesan) and napkins station by where you pay, and I'm glad that they were generous with these as well as the drinks. For those, there is a fountain machine by where they keep the arcade machines, and this is just a classic Coca Cola soda fountain with the classics: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Lemonade. Lemme go back to the arcade machines because yeah, they also have retro arcade machines which seemed like a really cool addition, although there was a tio playing on it the whole time I was there. For the actual pizzas, they were both yummy, although the jalapeño pepperoni was a bit greasy after I took some bites and squeezed the pizza a bit. The garlic mushroom was lowkey my favorite and the bites of ricotta were divine. that garlic flavor really pushes through, and I hadn't realized it was coming from the mushrooms until I saw an Insta post where the owner was prepping them. Both pizzas did eventually get cold though, and the crust wasn't incredible so I did leave it once the sauce ran out of the corners. But overall, this is a great local chula vista pizza place and a great option to just switch up your lunch meal if your nearby in the area, and you don't want to spend a crazy ammount. The only real downside is that drink, but if you're eating in a second refill will give you just the right amount of liquid to satisfy you properly. I really recommend so come and try it and tell me if y'all vibed with it as much as I did. DAYGOEATS CERTIFIED✅✅”
“i frequent Lollicup for the Boba which is an option for any drink on their menu- hot, warm, or cold. The menu covers the usual flavored drink combos with just as many unique signature flavored drinks. Of course, like the Boba you have the option to get a traditional iced tea or hot cocoa But Why?? Lollicup also serves Slushies, Smoothies, Milkshakes, Snow, Dairy & Non-Dairy just ask the staff are always friendly and know their drink ??. Been here for 10+ years and Lollicup does not disappoint/hits the brain-freezing/warm-soothing spot Everytime.”
“This is a very laid-back inviting coffee shop. It's a little kiosk on a patio with plenty of shaded seating. They offer a variety of espresso based beverages, smoothies, teas, pastries, and locally made breakfast burritos.
I had a cortado with 2% milk for $4. It was well made. It was a little strong up front, but it settled after a bit to a smooth and rich flavor. I enjoyed it very much. I also enjoyed the friendly conversation offered by the gent running the kiosk and some of the locals that visited.
Cool spot to meet up with friends, enjoy a beverage, and have some conversation.”
“I actually enjoying my dining experiences at the Chula Vista Black Angus location. The staff is VERY friendly, and its not just your server, but it includes the front staff as well as the bussing and cleaning staff. Each stops by with a great smile, warm voice and asks if there is anything they we need, a refill, more bread anything. The food comes out fairly quick and fresh. My steaks are perfectly cooked and seasoned and plated very well. I highly recommend the Chula Vista location, for the dining experience, but the outdoor surrounding area (which they have no control over) isn't the best, but its ok.”
“Delicioso 😋 love it. Ambiente para familia, pareja incluso solos!!”
“Excellent service, yummy food, delicious drinks & and awesome atmosphere!!!”
“I've been here several times. Service is very attentive and the food is good with generous portions. They are accomodating of dietary restrictions. There are lots of vegetarian options. The restaurant is decorated colorfully and Himalayan music plays in the background.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available, notify server
Wheelchair accessibility: I am a wheelchair user. There is one handicap accessible parking stall in back. The restaurant is accessible via ramps.”
“The salad, burger and pork tacos were great! My youngest son and I love to go their. Nice tropical atmosphere too. Friendly staff”
“We had heard of this place on the San Diego Vegans Facebook page and even though it's a bit of a trek from La Mesa, we figured we'd give it a try. We were charmed and delighted! The vegan menu is truly a marvel, with it hard to imagine going wrong. The pastas were bright, fresh and flavorful. The pizza was cooked perfectly (next time we'll spring for the vegan cheese option), and the artichoke appetizer was amazing. Both dessert options were scrumptious. Service was warm and friendly. The ambiance is comfortable and inviting. Would definitely dine here again!”
“Came here for a refreshing drink before my lash appointment and it was so worth the detour. It’s a hidden gem that’s in the middle of a residential neighborhood. They even scrape the bottom of the Chamoy candy straw so you don’t need to bite if off to use it as a straw ”
“This gem of a truck has the best surf and turf burritos in San Diego. The meat is juicy and tender + the combo of shrimp and chipotle sauce is amazing. I squeeze lime into every bite with their salsa habanera (it is HOT but delicious!). This place is easy to miss it as it is located in front of Pick Your Part but I look forward to coming back to eat.”
“Tap house with friendly and generous owner.
Keeping one of the most Varietal selections in San Diego. From local California and national breweries
Located on 3rd ave filled with eateries. Always a must to stop by and drink dessert.
You know us adults who choose our sweets 😋 😉 😏 😜”
“The food is excellent, the menu has a wide variety of choices. The service is always friendly and outstanding.”
“I came here after a long bike ride and had a really great torta. The owner taught me how easy it is to make veganized spicy mayo. Also, the lady in the next room over was very kind!”
“It was a lovely experience. I had a great time as soon as I entered the restaurant. The receptionist welcome us and get us seated as quickly as possible. The server also did an outstanding job.”
“Found this restaurant based off of an IG suggestion. Cute spot with a psuedo Bridgerton theme. I hope you like pink cause it hits you in the face! The restaurant almost seems a little out of place in the shopping center it's located in.
They don't take reservations and we had to wait about an hour. Inside is small so you can see why there is a wait.
However, the staff were very attention and offered great service. We shared the birriaquiles and the French toast. Both were great, I just wish the barriaquilles had crispy tortilla chips mixed in vs all wet chips.
My friend and I had the strawberry mimosas which didn't look like the presentation online, but were still good.
All of the plates served around us looked good, so I'd definitely eat here again.”
“Awesome staff and delicious options, plenty to choose from. I recommend the Go Go Godzilla or the Abre La Boca Mucho Roll. After six years, it's my number one place for Japanese style food.”
“Sakura's Mystery, the new hibachi food truck, offers an exceptional dining experience. Their flavorful hibachi bowls and delectable sushi platters are absolutely delicious. The friendly staff and skilled chefs create a warm and inviting atmosphere. With a variety of options available, Sakura's Mystery is a must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary adventure on wheels. Five stars without hesitation!”
“The food is excellent, the menu has a wide variety of choices. The service is always friendly and outstanding.”
“great tasting food it was a packed little place with people waiting outside to be seated”
“Made my way for the first time last week with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, good atmosphere, and the food/beer exceeded my expectations. The tacos are delicious, with hand-made tortillas. I had the Taco de Pulpo, which was amazing. Also had a very good queso fundido. And their Mexican Lager was very good. Definitely coming back for more.”
“Jorge hooked it up for happy hour. Service was friendly and upbeat, food and drinks were perfectly delicious, and music set the dancing mood!!!”
“ONE BITE = HEAVEN.
NOT KIDDING. And Friendly, Attentive staff.
We ordered a vampiro de carne asada, mulita y poblano taster. ALL
PERFECTION!
I rarely order meat @ restaurants because usually it's rubber at restaurants. But NOT here. Here it is perfect. Generous sides given= pepino, raddish, limes. Perfect salsa roja. See my pictures! I had to eat in my car, please excuse the background. This place makes you feel like you are dining in heaven though. ?
I wish I could eat at Taqueria El Poblano every day. ?”
“GREAT little spot to chill have a drink play pool. The DJs play good music I've been on a Fri and Sat. The owner(?) Japanese lady is so sweet kind and beautiful. The bartenders make great drinks and are GORGEOUS especially the light skinned one with braids she has an amazing personality and smile!”
“Calabacitas pizza with red pepper flakes and honey is a must try. Slushies are so refreshing and my favorite beer is their white IPA, Undulation. Staff is warm, friendly, knowledgeable. Great place to hang out. Good vibes.”
“taste is great portions could be a little bit bigger but all in all its great”
“Scrumptious food, friendly and quick service and a cozy atmosphere.
I absolutely love, love, love their burgers!
Great place to grab a beer and watch the game(s) as well. Ample parking in the shopping center.”
“My husband was diagnosed with heart failure and we changed our diet to include super green smoothies... We make our own most days but having it made for you is better”
“I love going here your get the best service everyone is really friendly.”
“The fried seafood platter wasn't up to par. The fish in particular.
Other dishes were better.
The service was better than expected.
Parking: Sufficient parking”
“This place is very inviting for any occasion. The food & drinks are absolutely delicious! I enjoy coming here for “Happy Hour” as well with friends. I also like the excellent customer service and music played at this restaurant. I truly recommend La Quinta Bar & Grill to anyone looking for an enjoyable day.”
“muy rica comida y atencion, pero no tenian el aire prendido y le preguntamos a la mesera que si no tenian abanico o que si podian prender el a/c porque estava muy caliente adentro y dijo que no podia prender el aire porque a la supervisora o dueña no le gustaba que lo prendieran al menos que estuviera lleno el lugar! y pues tuvimos que abrir la puerta de entrada pa que corriera aire pero fuera de esoo la verdad todo muy rico!!!!!”
“🙌 Wow..! Max’s in Chula Vista is amazing. For starters, their service is impeccable. Got seated right away, very friendly servers. The food - I’m a first timer of Philippine food and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was made to perfection, and I was told all their food is made to order, which I could certainly tell by the quality of ingredients! Atmosphere - The whole restaurant had such a cool modern hip vibe to it - very chic and trendy. This is the kind of place where you want to experience something new and fresh to the area. Oh and they have some beer too! Philippino type beer of course which was pretty awesome, I had a nice lager that went well with my food. Very clean and well organized restaurant across the board. Will be coming back for sure ..! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“It’s Honeybaked.. what else do you need to say??? If you’ve never had it, you are missing out on a flavorful piece of meat.I can’t make a ham that tastes this good…”
“Whenever I get asked to leave a review I usually don't. But today I left like it was much needed. Eli O. was my server and she was great. She explained to me that a review will help her out and that's why I'm here now.
All I can is for next time I will be asking for her.”
“Very nice decor and atmosphere at this location. Bar looks very nice and inviting. We ate the Fish and Chips for lunch and it was well prepared and tasty. Portion was smaller than what I would expect but tasted good. Becky provided good service with a friendly smile.”
“Súper mi perrita Molly fue con nosotros y nos atendieron súper !!”

“Bought the number 5 chimichanga And some drinks when I got home went to eat about half an hour later the chimichanga was not right at all it was nothing but a white tortilla raw with a whole bunch of lettuce and tomato and sour cream on it very hard to cut because it wasnt fried. N eady 2 cut when its Fried. Decided 2 scrape everything off and reheat?but didn't taste good.Just threw it away also she put in 3 packages of sauce and the tops came out and the sauce was all over. Second time I've been there in the last month and a 1/2 the same thing happened the last time and I don't think I'll be going back there again any time soon. They were very slim drive thur lots of car n inside also.”
“My husband who has celiac disease loved it!! The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. This is the best fried chicken we’ve had since my husband was diagnosed. Unfortunately the sauces aren’t gf so we didn’t try those. The restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!”

“It was alright, but for the price felt very underwhelming. I had bought carne asada fries, but it felt like I got more guacamole and crema than anything. I didn't expect bacon on it, maybe that's why it was expensive? The service was great tho, and the agua fresca wasn't too tart.
Dietary restrictions: There's a huge sign that asks you to let them know if you have allergens.”

“They need to be more in tune with the table turnaround. If there were 7-8 open tables, they were all dirty as well. Eventhough the place gets busy at times, they should be able to send someone out and pick tables up and wipe them accordingly. C'mon, let's do 100% better on this so 5 stars could be deserved!
A plus that location closed at 02:00, an option to the late-late outers in San Diego.
Thank you!”
“Have been here a few times in the past week with my partner and we love it here. I always thought you couldn't get the following things at once: quality, speed, affordability. But at Aunt Emma's, by some miracle, you can have it all. Amazing food at amazing prices and customer service to boot.”
“Great customer service I had the mobile app glitch called in and the manager Claudia helped me will definitely order again”
