“A very nice place for a date! It has a casino and a patio inset but outside so it's cooler out on patio and it's a beautiful scenery you'll enjoy looking at. The food is absolutely delicious everytime! The wait staff are exceptional also, so you'll want to give a good gratuity! If you sit at the first booth when you enter, you'll be cold because the staff and customers are constantly coming in and out so there's a cool breeze everytime the door is opened so for people who get cold quick, bring a sweater. There's plenty on menu to choose and EVERYTHING is good!”

“Three people were ahead of me. It was around 8pm.
One drove from El Cajon to get a bunch of breakfast plates and breakfast burritos. Another from downtown to get burritos and chicken tacos which they said is the best chicken taco in San Diego. The third drove from Mission Valley to get their Jumbo Burger and tacos.
People either love or hate the rolled tacos here. I think they're the best in San Diego. They don't throw a ton of shredded lettuce, they don't get soggy, and the beef I hear is carnitas. The mixture of sour cream, shredded chedder cheese, their guacamole and hot sauce is incredible on top of their rolled taco. I haven't encountered any other rolled taco like it. If they bottled their hot sauce I'd buy it.
Try their carne asada fries they use huge thicker steak fries.
My favorite item is the adobada taco, tho they don't put as much guacamole as before. I got a fish taco and looks like they don't put tartar sauce in it anymore. Hopefully they just forgot.
For a lot of people this is their absolute favorite taco shop in the land and drive miles for it.

“This is a small Taco shop. There is dining in with about 7 to 9 tables inside and a drive-thru. The parking lot is small. Most spaces you must wait to pull out of until the drive-thru is clear. The drive-thru usually blocks you in to your parking spot.
It is in a marginal area on Broadway in Chula Vista. It's a dive taco shop. The sort of place you would drive by without a second look. It is a treasure though if you find it. Great food. The prices used to be great too but they have gone up. Their bean & cheese burritos are good, crunchy chicken tacos are very yummy and rolled tacos with guacamole and sour cream are great.
They offer a green salsa, a red and a hotter red. I like the original red salsa.
Restroom here is located Outdoors by the drive-thru. It's pretty blah and should be used only as a last resort.
Overall, not beautiful but thr food is authentic and good.”

They have a full bar, beers in bottles, sodas, tea, waters as well. Plenty of soju drinks. I nearly bought another bowl to go for tomorrow's dinner then remembered the price of gas 😅 Light, airy, roomy interior. Has a juke box and a pool table. The family that runs it were super nice, helpful, and, man can she cook! Parking is metered but fairly cheap $1.50 for 2 hours before 6. You might get lucky on a side street. Price of everything at lunch including 20% tip was under $40 I'm not going to try to spell the name of their house made sauce but it's also delicious”

Nope 1x we literally had a single sliver of green pepper and 2 slivers of onion.... 2x there were no veggies at all. 1x asked for no mushrooms and they put extra. I even showed the owner pictures of the previous pizzas and pictures of the receipts, he said he would fix it. The next visit was the correct pizza and decent portion of chicken. The following visits were back to the same missing veggies and such.🤷🏼♂️ The consistency here is just horrible. Some times the pizza is cooked perfectly and others it is soggy and cold in the middle. As for the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, it often has a very very small portion of chicken. 1x it was what I felt a decent portion. If they were more consistently good we'd be back probably weekly. I would say 6 of the 8x we had issues. I don't like sending food back, but also want what I pat for. Some staff are very friendly and do an excellent job, checking in just enough. However some employees seem they hate their job and we have to ask 2 to 3x for more water or ranch. I was excited to have found a new place, but sadly the overall quality is just a coin flip. For the price it isn't worth the hassle. And our visits have never been during a busy time. I won't accept anything to return, I have it enough chances. Also don't believe their 5 star reviews as they offer you a free desert in exchange for a 5 star review.”

I am not someone that picks a place for the atmosphere, I go places for their food, if the atmosphere is good I might stay longer but if the food’s good I’ll come back.
Which is the case with this place, the food is so good that I would travel back from mexico just to eat their ribeye tacos.
I’ve read about people complaining about the atmosphere here, there are too used to fast food joints, this is how a real taqueria feels like, it’s rustic, not sterile, there’s ash from the charcoal flying and landing in the furniture out back, loud music, informal service. If you can’t deal with that, go get yourself some fast food instead, this might not be for everyone. But the food…
The food is worth it, not sterile uberclean plastic setting we tend to find this side of the wall, this feels authentic, and tastes like the best in Mexico. The quality of the raw materials ids the best I have seen, even in México. Could the setting be better? Who cares, the tacos are fantastic that’s all that counts.
