There is a consistent burnt/smoky flavor that I think overpowers the meat/taco. Maybe this is temporary but it tasted the same at multiple locations. I will edit this if it gets better. Either way I will be back for the adobada!”

“Craving a burger and was close by the In-N-Out Burger on Main St. in Chula Vista. Line was not very long so got in line and placed my order relatively quickly.
I don't often eat at In-N-Out and had some reservations due to past (food) experiences. I ordered two single cheeseburgers, order if fries, and a lite lemonade.
Here is my issue with the food... Burger meat overseasoned (too salty) and the fries were not edible, it was like eating salt on a stick. I never cared for their fries too much, either no seasoning or they pour a container on them.
So, ate the burgers but nearly drank the entire lemonade doing so, and threw out half the fries (ran out of napkins because everytime I grabbed a bunch of fries I had to wipe away the oil and tons of seasoning from my fingers. Did they have an off day? Not sure, but the fries issue is not new. The burgers were okay, underwhelmed to be honest.”

Store packaged mochi doesn't come close to homemade mochi which uses natural ingredients, and it tastes so delicious. I've been coming to Thank You Very Mochi on a regular basis ever since. “Went here probably 8x, mostly made the same order and it came out different each time. If a menu says the pizza toppings, you'd expect those toppings or get told if something was out. Nope 1x we literally had a single sliver of green pepper and 2 slivers of onion.... 2x there were no veggies at all. 1x asked for no mushrooms and they put extra. I even showed the owner pictures of the previous pizzas and pictures of the receipts, he said he would fix it. The next visit was the correct pizza and decent portion of chicken. The following visits were back to the same missing veggies and such.🤷🏼♂️ The consistency here is just horrible. Some times the pizza is cooked perfectly and others it is soggy and cold in the middle. As for the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, it often has a very very small portion of chicken. 1x it was what I felt a decent portion. If they were more consistently good we'd be back probably weekly. I would say 6 of the 8x we had issues. I don't like sending food back, but also want what I pat for. Some staff are very friendly and do an excellent job, checking in just enough. However some employees seem they hate their job and we have to ask 2 to 3x for more water or ranch. I was excited to have found a new place, but sadly the overall quality is just a coin flip. For the price it isn't worth the hassle. And our visits have never been during a busy time. I won't accept anything to return, I have it enough chances. Also don't believe their 5 star reviews as they offer you a free desert in exchange for a 5 star review.”

“🙌 Wow..! Max’s in Chula Vista is amazing. For starters, their service is impeccable. Got seated right away, very friendly servers. The food - I’m a first timer of Philippine food and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was made to perfection, and I was told all their food is made to order, which I could certainly tell by the quality of ingredients! Atmosphere - The whole restaurant had such a cool modern hip vibe to it - very chic and trendy. This is the kind of place where you want to experience something new and fresh to the area. Oh and they have some beer too! Philippino type beer of course which was pretty awesome, I had a nice lager that went well with my food. Very clean and well organized restaurant across the board. N eady 2 cut when its Fried. Decided 2 scrape everything off and reheat?but didn't taste good.Just threw it away also she put in 3 packages of sauce and the tops came out and the sauce was all over. “Craving a burger and was close by the In-N-Out Burger on Main St. in Chula Vista. Line was not very long so got in line and placed my order relatively quickly.
I don't often eat at In-N-Out and had some reservations due to past (food) experiences. I ordered two single cheeseburgers, order if fries, and a lite lemonade.
Here is my issue with the food... Burger meat overseasoned (too salty) and the fries were not edible, it was like eating salt on a stick. I never cared for their fries too much, either no seasoning or they pour a container on them.
So, ate the burgers but nearly drank the entire lemonade doing so, and threw out half the fries (ran out of napkins because everytime I grabbed a bunch of fries I had to wipe away the oil and tons of seasoning from my fingers. Did they have an off day? Not sure, but the fries issue is not new. The burgers were okay, underwhelmed to be honest.”
