“I was in the area and wanted something kind of healthy, so I decided to order two tacos — one pescado a la plancha and one camarón a la plancha. I was a little bummed they messed up my order and gave me two pescado instead, but honestly, they were really good! I’m pretty picky when it comes to fish, but it had great flavor and wasn’t fishy at all. The salsas and chips were tasty too!
I also tried their jugo verde — I love green juice, but not everyone makes it how I like it. This place actually makes a really good one!
And staff were great too. Not mad at all but sad. I didn’t got to try the Camaron.”

“Craving a burger and was close by the In-N-Out Burger on Main St. in Chula Vista. Line was not very long so got in line and placed my order relatively quickly.
I don't often eat at In-N-Out and had some reservations due to past (food) experiences. I ordered two single cheeseburgers, order if fries, and a lite lemonade.
Here is my issue with the food... Burger meat overseasoned (too salty) and the fries were not edible, it was like eating salt on a stick. I never cared for their fries too much, either no seasoning or they pour a container on them.
So, ate the burgers but nearly drank the entire lemonade doing so, and threw out half the fries (ran out of napkins because everytime I grabbed a bunch of fries I had to wipe away the oil and tons of seasoning from my fingers. Did they have an off day? Not sure, but the fries issue is not new. The burgers were okay, underwhelmed to be honest.”

I even showed the owner pictures of the previous pizzas and pictures of the receipts, he said he would fix it. The next visit was the correct pizza and decent portion of chicken. The following visits were back to the same missing veggies and such.🤷🏼♂️ The consistency here is just horrible. Some times the pizza is cooked perfectly and others it is soggy and cold in the middle. As for the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, it often has a very very small portion of chicken. 1x it was what I felt a decent portion. If they were more consistently good we'd be back probably weekly. I would say 6 of the 8x we had issues. I don't like sending food back, but also want what I pat for. Some staff are very friendly and do an excellent job, checking in just enough. However some employees seem they hate their job and we have to ask 2 to 3x for more water or ranch. I was excited to have found a new place, but sadly the overall quality is just a coin flip. For the price it isn't worth the hassle. And our visits have never been during a busy time. I won't accept anything to return, I have it enough chances. Also don't believe their 5 star reviews as they offer you a free desert in exchange for a 5 star review.”

I am not someone that picks a place for the atmosphere, I go places for their food, if the atmosphere is good I might stay longer but if the food’s good I’ll come back.
Which is the case with this place, the food is so good that I would travel back from mexico just to eat their ribeye tacos.
I’ve read about people complaining about the atmosphere here, there are too used to fast food joints, this is how a real taqueria feels like, it’s rustic, not sterile, there’s ash from the charcoal flying and landing in the furniture out back, loud music, informal service. If you can’t deal with that, go get yourself some fast food instead, this might not be for everyone. But the food…
The food is worth it, not sterile uberclean plastic setting we tend to find this side of the wall, this feels authentic, and tastes like the best in Mexico. The quality of the raw materials ids the best I have seen, even in México. Could the setting be better? Who cares, the tacos are fantastic that’s all that counts.

Atmosphere - The whole restaurant had such a cool modern hip vibe to it - very chic and trendy. This is the kind of place where you want to experience something new and fresh to the area. “Craving a burger and was close by the In-N-Out Burger on Main St. in Chula Vista. Line was not very long so got in line and placed my order relatively quickly.
I don't often eat at In-N-Out and had some reservations due to past (food) experiences. I ordered two single cheeseburgers, order if fries, and a lite lemonade.
Here is my issue with the food... Burger meat overseasoned (too salty) and the fries were not edible, it was like eating salt on a stick. I never cared for their fries too much, either no seasoning or they pour a container on them.
So, ate the burgers but nearly drank the entire lemonade doing so, and threw out half the fries (ran out of napkins because everytime I grabbed a bunch of fries I had to wipe away the oil and tons of seasoning from my fingers. Did they have an off day? Not sure, but the fries issue is not new. The burgers were okay, underwhelmed to be honest.”
