One thing that really stands out to me is how clean and well-prepared the gopchang is. Korean-style gopchang is known for its thorough cleaning and careful preparation, and I truly felt a sense of safety and quality here. That attention to detail makes a big difference.

All of the side dishes were excellent as well — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced.

“I had a really enjoyable dinner at Thanks Chicken. My favorite was the original crispy fried chicken. It's amazing especially if you get right from kitchen. Next one is the garlic soy chicken was crispy, flavorful, and clearly made fresh, and even the simple sides hit the spot.
It did get busy, but the staff stayed friendly and worked hard to keep things moving.
Overall, it’s a solid neighborhood spot for Korean fried chicken, and I’d happily come back again.“

“At first didn't think much about the place due to the store front and name bbq chicken, figure it was just a regular chicken spot but I was in a mood for wings. While viewing the menu I was intrigued by the flavors offered. Now I waited in the car not sure if there was seating in the back cause I didn't ask nor venture I just wanted to head to the car and express my opinion to my spouse.. no more than 10 -15 mins later give or take food was ready. Now let me tell you i very impressed by the smell. Plus the container was perfect fully closed with air pockets so the 🐔 could breath. Now this always makes a difference no matter how the food smell. Maintaining that crispyness I look for.. now let me get to this chicken. Boy/ Girl let me tell you, chicken sooooo good make you wanna slap your momma. “So far I have tried the spicy Korean fried chicken bowl, pork belly bowl and japchae, all of delicious. Always fresh. My toddler only likes japchae from an AYCE kbbq in Garden Grove, but she has approved of yours. 10/10 every time. I am always greeted with a smile. I will keep coming back.“

“Atto has amazing authentic Korean food, outstanding service, and old school charm that really stands out from the crowd. The army stew was such a cool dish.. ramen noodles, sausage, spam and all sorts of great ingredients in a delicious broth. The spicy pork with tofu was perfect.. not too spicy but great flavor. The sweet and tangy pork loin was friend perfectly and the sweet and tangy sauce is a must try.. it is perfectly balanced with very bold flavors. The chef came out to chat with us and gave us the history of the army stew which was quite interesting. The dining room is cozy and comfortable with plenty of seating. We have tried so many Korean restaurants in the South Bay and Atto stands out for incredible food and a unique experience. Very highly recommended.“

“We got the duck combo plus the table-side fried rice and it was quite hefty. Can probably feed a good 4-5 people. The duck is grilled with potatoes, rice cakes, mushrooms, garlic & chives and the combo of everything works well and takes away from the usually gamieness associated with duck. The bean paste dipping sauce was probably my fave. The kimchi fried rice was pretty serious as it even had japchae in it. Combo also includes kimchi pancake, steam egg, corn cheese, bean paste soup. Definitely not your typical Kbbq spot, in a good way, and I dig that they specialize in things like duck and intestines, which I'll be trying on my next visit. Bonus points too for being close by in the South Bay where I live.“

“Delicious food that keeps me coming back! My personal go tos are the salmon poke and chicken katsu bowl; I think you get the most bang for your buck getting either one of those. Chill atmosphere with a nice and varied music playlist in the background. It gets fairly busy during the 12 PM lunch rush, but nothing too crazy for an unreasonable wait time. 5/5 stars!“

“They were not joking when they called this comfort food. I was sick, and it was raining, so I wanted something warm and hearty. This place seemed like the obvious choice, and far exceeded my expectations. Food came out fast and blistering hot, but still perfect temperature to eat right away. It was somehow nostalgic, even though it was my first time trying this dish. The tofu was extremely soft, but held its shape well, and very flavorful from absorbing the liquid. It really felt like it cured by illness.

Portion size was also very generous, which is always important. The menu was also pretty varied, I could imagine coming back multiple times and trying something new each time.“

Come with the Korean Style Spicy chicken. Perfectly cooked and seasoned and a hint of spice that gives it a great flavor.

Lastly we ordered the Spicy Pork Bulgogi. Just as the chicken, amazing. Spicer than the chicken by a tad but amazing taste

We ordered rice with it which probably why we didn’t finish half of the portions of each dish. The employees felt we didn’t like it but we took it home to eat again the following day!

“I've been going to Maria'a since I was a kid. My parents, when they arrived to the US from Mexico would go there and so did my aunts and uncles and cousins. Now I take my kids to eat there. The restaurant has always been the same with great quality food and great service. Maria's restaurant is a gem in the community and will hopefully be there for many more generations. “Stopped by Jang Su Jang in Torrance and the place was bustling, with only a few tables open for dine-in.

Ambiance (4/5): Lots of natural light mixed with warm-toned lighting creates a cozy and homey feel. The restaurant has plenty of space, with tables for both small groups and larger parties of up to 8. It was lively and loud inside, but in a good way—exactly the kind of noise level you’d expect at a thriving Korean spot. Beautifully decorated and welcoming.

Food (4/5): I ordered the Jangsu Bossam, which came with rice and two portion sizes of banchan. Everything was well-seasoned, with the cucumbers being the standout—crisp, fresh, and addictive. The bossam itself was flavorful and generously portioned (marketed for 2 but easily feeds 3). We also tried the bibimbap, which was satisfying and nicely done. Overall, both dishes were good, though not quite unforgettable.

Service (4/5): Since we ordered to go, I didn’t get the full dine-in experience, but ordering was quick, friendly, and efficient. I’ll update if I get the chance to try table service next time.

Overall: Solid Korean food in a cozy, busy setting. Worth returning to, though maybe not a place I’d find myself craving often.“

“This is an excellent place to get restaurant quality katsu at a very reasonable price. I had the tonkatsu combo. It came with soup, cabbage salad, steamed rich, and a delicious katsu sauce. The cutlet was perfectly cooked, and the breading was light and crispy, as it should be.“

“Lately, I’ve been very into kimbap. However, I can be pretty picky about it in terms of what’s inside. There’s sooooo many options for what kind of kimbap you want. For me, I’m really into the beef kimbap. Kimbap Paradise has the best beef kimbap, in my opinion.

The restaurant is located in Torrance, super close to my home. It’s in a busy shopping center so there’s plenty of parking. I easily just call in my order and pick it up. It’s usually ready within 10/15 mins depending on how busy they are. I never dined in, but there’s lost of seating inside to do so. If you’re not a kimbap fan, they have many other Korean dishes to choose from.“

“Best place to get authentic cheonggukjang in Orange County. I've been coming for what feels like over a decade and the taste never changed. The restaurant does have a strong fermented bean paste smell but if you want authentic cheonggukjang, it has to smell like this. If a place that sells cheonggukjang does not have a smell, it you will get tasteless 'watered down' version of the soup.

Plus is the smell is not as over powering as it used to be way back when but the taste is still the same.“

We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn’t have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. Overall, the taste was good.“
