“The Peking duck was fabulous and juicy! We got a half, which we were surprised how little it was. We should have had a full. You have to reserve the duck before you get there.
We had a meat roll I think it was. It was amazing! My friends mom doesn’t like spicy so we got this roll. Highly recommend! Lots of veggies and excellent sauce!“

“The food was a great mix of Latin and Cantonese flavors. It brought back many childhood memories of Chinese food in Northern Mexico while growing up. The owner was extremely warm and welcoming in sharing her cuisine that is from her home and heart.“

“I want to share my experience with Tycoon Kitchen. The food is really delicious. I come here 2–3 times a week, and it’s always good. The manager is very attentive and friendly. I also love that you can get your food to go and take it up to the park — it’s like having a little picnic in the middle of a workday.“

“I tried the wraps from a work event and realized I needed to stop in and check it out.
I love the atmosphere, the individuals inside are kind and knowledgeable, great recommendations from them all.
I will be back to enjoy the view as well, please tip the staff!“

“I enjoyed it! The food was fast and filling. Not bad for price. The atmosphere created here was cozy. It’s a little small but it’s alright. It’s nice how formal the staff is—effort to hold the standard of the culture is there but my waitress was a little new and gave me a pack of chopsticks with only one inside lol“

“AYCE Supreme is what you should get. The quality of meat and seafood was superb. We had spicy miso and tom yam soups which were very flavorful. The sauces of cilantro, ponzu and sesame paste were also delicious. Make sure you ask for minced garlic and chopped spring onions to spice the sauces even more. Also, great appetizers of gyoza, kimchi, mushrooms, etc. The service was very courteous. We left completely full and very satisfied.“

“This place was great! Our table shared the pork xiao long bao, crispy dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, and cucumber salad. Everything tasted delicious. We had a bit of a wait outside the restaurant along with other groups and the restaurant was pretty much full, so I suspect it’s usually busy!“

“Just discovered my new favorite lunch place in downtown. It’s a buffet style place designed for lunches. Every bite on this plate was fresh, delicious and perfectly seasoned. Tasted like lots of care and thoughtfulness went into the preparation. Quite literally can’t wait to go back. Also always bodes well if a place can do VEGGIES, this good, everything else I’m sure will be stellar.“

“I had a great experience at Trisara. The food was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the lamb korma, garlic naan, and samosa, and everything was delicious and well prepared.
The service was also good. It was a bit slow at times, but I visited during a busy period, so it was understandable. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would definitely return.“

“Such great food and people. We were hungry driving around looking for that magical parking spot next to an acceptable eating spot bingo! We found it all at Gai. Unsure of what kinda of cuisine I said take the chance they’ve got a chicken on the sign so it’s actually food. And boy was it good. Delicious. Freshly prepared Asian Thai or Vietnamese food. I got the Original Chicken Rice bowl with side of broccali. My friend got the salad with Tofu. Both great. He sauces are fresh and flavorful. One is quite hot which I love. I recommend it. And as we sat there from 1:30 pm to 2:30, there were multiple to go orders being picked up. I think there were about 5 orders at a time rotating. Fresh Fast Full of Flavor. We hit the jackpot!“

“Lovely dinner at Prik Hom. Scallop & lemongrass appetizer & dessert (coconut pancakes & coconut ice cream) were by far my favorites. Mushroom curry soup was light and subtle. Seafood curry was rich & tasty, but did not love the texture of the stir fried shrimp. They were out of a few things like white rice and coconut water. Quiet atmosphere conducive to casual catchup with friends. Like another reviewer said, def worth trying at least once!“

“Steve went out of his way to answer a question concerning the food selection choices.
Internet google search showed this SF location maybe close because of the Memorial Day Holiday, but took a chance to walk down from Chinatown and was pleasantly surprised.
Bought meals for the day for myself and sister.
Thanks SF, Kearney St - Onigilly“

“Has gluten free soup and the galbi Jjim. The galbi Jjim was filling, and mostly casava, noodles and sauce. Had a good amount of rib meat though. Service was great despite being packed. Only complaint is the amount of cheese - way too much, and I had to remove it to even taste the meats, even though I asked for less cheese. The side dishes were standard for Korean but still decent.“

“A must-visit every time I'm in San Francisco! This is one of my favorite spots in the city. The service is always exceptional, the atmosphere is great, and they serve the absolute best Margaritas. Highly recommend stopping by if you want a perfect city vibe and great drinks!“

“Pretty decent option specially during the lunch rush hour. I got a veg burrito. Happy with my choice. You wouldn't want to miss on some of their sauces. You may get intimidated by the queue during lunch hour but their service is pretty fast. I don't expect you would have to wait more than 20 min from the queue to getting your meal :)“

“Great food. An amazing way to end an evening out in Japantown. The Soy Garlic wings were very crispy, crunchy on the outside. The meat itself was flavorful and juicy. My girlfriend said it was the best she ever had. The Galbi Steak was also great. I recommend paying the extra $5 for the lettuce wraps and samjang. Overall, I had a great time & great date with my girlfriend. I felt the food was worth the price.“

“I personally think this is the best Human restaurant in Bay Area. My husband being a Hunan native said this is the real authentic Hunan flavor. The portion is also pretty big for the price. “Had just arrived in San Francisco, and hit the road heading to Sonoma for a wedding this weekend. Looking for a place to have lunch and we found Avatars on line. So, we decided to try it, and we are glad we did. Our meals were cooked fresh to order and they were delicious! Friendly staff and a place we will fondly remember and look forward to trying again on our next trip out here!!“

“I go after school most days before walking home or volleyball games and practice, and I get the guava snow with oreo crumble, and it's really good.
The only thing that keeps me from giving them a 5 is the prices. Don't get me wrong about the inflation issue, but like some of the prices are unreasonable. They should lower it.
Go here if you have the money but the workers are really nice. Just go to Starbucks, it's more reasonable there.“

“This was by far the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Every dish was so inventive and delicious! The snap peas w/tofu dressing was light and crunchy. We had a bottle of delicious sparkling tea that tasted like sparkles. The fried rice had corn and cheese and Chinese sausage and WOW was it awesome. Truly every bite was amazing. It was my birthday dinner and they made it so special, brought out an extra dessert and gave truly fabulous service.
The decor feels like a set design, it’s curated but not pretentious. It wasn’t too loud, it was super clean and it’s on a beautiful, picturesque street in SF.
Couldn’t recommend more!!“

“I have been coming here to get the mushroom banh mi for years. It's some of the tastiest in the bay with great pickled veggies and yummy sauce.
I would pass on planning to eat at the restaurant as it's not very relaxing and the lack of restroom would definitely eventually be a bummer.“

“Quick lunch, good portions, and really good depth in taste for the price. Wanted some Korean rice bowls for our family and was presently surprised. The owner Jin was very courteous and food came out really fast. Also got to use the photo booth. Got the protein bowl, kaamjang bowl, and a pork jowl bowl for the kids. Really a nice experience“

“The best Thai food made by the best people! We drive from Monterey to have authentic Thai food made by the wonderful family at Kitti’s Place, who are as warm as their food.
We always start with spring rolls (the sauce is the best we’ve ever had) followed by the most flavorful curried turkey burger with crisp french fries, then a bowl of Khao Soi- a rich curry with chicken thighs, bok choy, and egg noodles.
The Thai iced tea is a treat as well, and if there is any room left, then the sweet sticky rice with mango sends us into a blissful food coma. Give this place the love it deserves“

“Best Banh mi EVER. Mill Valley location has perfected this sandwich. Good quality meat, portions of each individual ingredient- spectacular. And I'm dying to know what was in their chili oil, it was very unique and flavorful. I get bbq pork but the flavor somehow still feels traditional to a patay. Will be patronizing often, I recommend you do too.“

“There are a few halal restaurants in SF. I guessed a Pakistani Karahi restaurant would be better compared to a Turkish one, so I headed there and saw that it was really great. After eating the goat biryani, which had a good taste, Alhamdulillah, I noticed the price was slightly higher than in New York. Tea is free of cost.☺“

“Tbk was not spicy enough, but I suspect they might have lowered the spice level to accommodate the majority customers who aren't used to the spice level.
Overall, taste was great, but the price is a bit high since you don't get that large of portion.“

“Got the bigger size and though it is a bit pricey, the portion is pretty big. I did however take off a star because the quality of the fish wasn’t the best, some of it looked a little off-color compared to the others but the flavors were good and again the size is big. Lots of different sides as well so that helps having a different bite each time“

“Our family of four adults thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and outstanding cuisine at Chotto Matte in San Francisco. It is located on the rooftop of the former Macy Men’s Building at Union Square. Looking forward to going back on a warmer night when we can also enjoy the outdoor area. The indoor area offers a beautiful view of city lights and romantic dining with music playing. The sound is quiet and you can hear everyone at your table and are not bothered by conversations of surrounding tables. The decor is artistic and the lighting is perfect, including the lamps on each table. All dishes were delicious and created with pride, as a work of art, including the delicious Pisco Sour with tiny hearts formed on the froth. Menu items we chose are very memorable and are calling for us to return! Each plate was shared by the four of us, using chopsticks to grab our bites. The first item that we had was the Shishito peppers, grilled with an amazing sauce lathered on them. Next came the Jumbo Shrimp Tempura that Bob requested. It was lightly battered so not to overpower the shrimp. The server flamed the Tiger Sushi Roll made of Ell, avocado and seasoned corn at our table. It was a thing of beauty and unique taste. My favorite items were the Black Cod Aji Miso and our last two dishes which melted in your mouth, Australian Grade 8-9 Wagyu Beef and a side of Purple Potato Mash with Black Truffle and Applewood smoke. The dessert menu looked amazing but we were to full to eat another bite. Looking forward to trying dessert on next trip. Definitely worth the drive from San Jose for a special occasion at a special place.“
