“Wow! First time here and I was blown away by the excellent food I was served. I was not expecting this level given the location and the humble appearance of the restaurant.

Out of their huge menu, I selected three dishes and they all came out within 10 min! All the food tasted delicious. Seasoned perfectly. Cooked perfectly. The orchata drink w/ coconut was excellent too and loved that it was lightly sweet.

I ate half of everything and took the other half home in clear plastic containers. I ordered a second orchata to go. I never take food home from a restaurant. NEVER. I always leave a lot of food behind and let it get thrown away. Always. But I scrapped the plates clean off of all the food that was left because I wanted to eat it all later for dinner. It was all that good. The only thing I left behind was the massive random onion (?).

Overall, outstanding food.

The waitresses and bartender were welcoming and courteous and always ready/available.

“Great omakase, dry age sushi is a unique experience in the Bay Area and I’d say in the US in general. The dry age lean blue fin tuna was an amazing experience. The sake pairing was very good as well and was enjoyable as I slowly went through my course. I got to sit counter side with the chef and had a wonderful time with my friends. If you're looking for an Instagram worthy dish that's both delicious and worth paying for, get the Omakase Box! It's $55, but worth it. Each chef's choice was well selected and super fresh. This place also has a huge selection of special rolls if that's more your style. The fish portions are big and they don't use too much rice like some other places. There are also Udon and Teriyaki dishes to choose from for those who aren't big on seafood.

“One of my top 10 restaurants. Love the interior decorating, and of course the food is incredible and creative. It's created and delivered with the upmost of care.

I like the concept of pay-what-you-want, we got the middle tier-ish and had a lot of really unique and fresh food. Dishes include uni from Hokkaido and Santa Barbara, triggerfish, scallops,band many others.

Almost everything about this restaurant was perfect. My only change would be the music, it was fun but didn't seem to match the mood. Not a deal breaker though.“

They have plenty of veggie options, along with sake and tempura. All the dishes are interesting and very flavorful, service is pretty quick as well.

I've tried the Veggie Tempura and Agedashi Tofu from the bites section. Both are delicious even though these are fairly simple dishes, as expected. Tempura is oily as expected and is something which I skipped the next time to try some of the many nicer items on the menu.

All the vegan sushis are awesome and I especially liked their Veggie Tiger Roll and spicy veggie roll. None of the ingredients, like cream cheese overpower the flavors - everything is well balanced and each ingredient stands out on its own. Yum!

Our kids love the kids meals (rice, miso soup, and salmon or chicken teriyaki) and the sushi train, where we usually pick a few rolls and mochi for dessert. We love the variety of the menu and freshness of the food most of the time. Depending on the day, the texture of the rice can be improved and sometimes the offerings on the sushi train are limited, but the excellent service more than makes up for it. “This sushi restaurant its so good! The deluxe uni handball is SUPER tasty. I could have eaten 50 of them.

We ordered soft shell crab, which was a smaller crab than I am typically used to at ither places, but it still tasted good and had a nice crunchy texture.

The mix tempura was probably the best tempura I've had ever. The texture was light and crispy and not soggy at all (which is very easy for it to get).

Then we ordered chicken udon for our 3 year old, who lodged the noodles and broth.

We ordered the Deluxe sashimi as our main dish and it was absolutely delicious! I loved the ice underneath the radish to keep the sashimi cold (my daughter loved it too and kept eating it).

They gave us edaname beans and green tea ice cream complementary which was nice before abd after the meal.

“Mediocre sushi for fair prices.

I had a rainbow roll and miso soup. My total was $14.85 after tax.

The roll wasn't awful. The rice was slightly overcooked, so it was mushy. It also didn't taste like there was any vinegar. The avocado, salmon, and shrimp looked fresh. The miso soup was piping hot. It was hard to open the bowl because the surface was 163°F according to my phone's thermometer. There were a few pieces of tofu and seaweed.

I sat in the dining area, which was pretty clean and can accommodate up to 16 people and a small child comfortably (high-chair available). The restroom was closed when I visited. The music was a mix of Cantonese and Mandarin songs. It's quiet enough for a conversation.

As for the ordering process, you can use a kiosk or order with an employee, then sit down and wait until your number is called.

Everything is packaged to-go. They've gotten rid of their branded packaging and use generic options.“
