“As a Turkish who’s been living in the Bay Area for a long time, I have to say this is easily the BEST LAHMACUN and TURKISH PİDE I’ve had around here!!!

You can order the lahmacun spicy or not (which is amazing) and the dough is exactly how it should be; thin, crispy, and loaded with toppings, just like in Turkey. We later noticed they had pastırmalı pide on the menu and immediately had to order one, especially after finding out the pastırma actually comes from Turkey.

Three of us shared two lahmacuns and one pide and it was more than enough. Everything was fresh and seriously delicious.

The hospitality also deserves a mention. The team was incredibly warm and attentive, and they even offered us tea, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic.

And if you’ve never tried şalgam before, they have it here too. Definitely give it a try!“

The authentic Greek flavors were wonderful, but what stayed with us most was the feeling around the table—the warmth, the thoughtful attention, and the little surprises that arrived when we least expected them. A cup of Turkish tea and baklava may seem like a small gesture, yet it made the evening feel personal, as though someone genuinely cared that we were there.

“After spending some time at half moon Bay Area, we were discussing which ice cream place we would go, so we decided to try a new place and l started to look on Yelp while on the road. We found this fantastic place, we loved the welcoming and the good energy. The place was so clean and the staff were friendly. I believe was the owner who took our order, he was so nice to us that we ended up talking about soccer, it felt so much like home. Flavors were amazing, we could taste the fruit in each ice cream, not so sweet, just perfect for our palate. I’m sure we will come back.“

“This place was really good and receives a solid 5 Star review. With that being said you must realize you are in a dinner at a small airport. The menu has more on it than I expected. The place was fairly busy and very steady with customers. The facility was neat, clean and well maintained. The full kitchen is within full view and was clean. The food was pretty good. The restroom was clean. The staff was attentive and pleasant. The food was pretty good and the prices were not inflated like in Half Moon Bay.

“This took me far too long to write, but I wanted to find the right words to say. My husband and I had been waiting two long years to get married. We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! “I love this spot! My sister used to work here while I was growing up as well as a few friends while I was in my teens. It has always been a peaceful place to draw, read, catch up with a friend, and sip coffee with a snack. They have changed ownership a number of times and always retained good quality! From time to time a man will come in and play piano on the out of tune wooden one. Mostly 60s-early 80s music, he knows all the lyrics too! The landscape artwork by Pam Anderberg is really phenomenal and matches the coastal energy of the cafe. Couldn’t speak higher of a cafe in Pacifica!
The line can be a bit overwhelming on weekends if there is an event. When there was a running event I think it took 20 minutes to get a coffee and muffin.

Reducing a star because of a female barista here that gave terrible service. I asked if I could order two separate single shot espressos, instead of a double shot to which she responded “take your scam somewhere else this is a small business etc.” and generally took a harsh tone. I still ordered and just got a double shot. When I gave her cash for this, she tossed the change back across the counter from my purchase which slid onto the floor. This interaction has stuck with me as I’ve never had a problem visiting this cafe before. Anytime I see this barista behind the counter I decide I’ll just have coffee at home instead.“
