I’ve traveled throughout Baja/BCS, and I would say that these are on par with those if not better. The batter was not too heavy and you could really taste the fish - the slaw + salsa was in perfect balance. I think the fish was better than the shrimp tacos, but will need to eat many more to really know.

I got the ceviche crude and it was better than fancy restaurants with stunning views of the Pacific.

“The meat quality is pretty good! Although there was a big party right before us so we had to wait for quite a bit after seated for food to be served, the dining experience was satisfying. I got the yuzu soup base, was quite refreshing. Would recommend to come early (around or before 6 pm) to avoid long waiting time.“

“Walk 10 minutes from MacArthur BART and you’ll find paradise in the form of a wine bar. Zach (head chef) and Emilio (line cook) are formerly of Verjus in San Francisco, and let’s just say we followed them across the bridge for a reason. Their expertise and attention to detail are evident in every bite — or sip! ;) On top of this, the service is impeccable. Our waiter, Nico, was a real gem! Thank God he moved from SoCal! Anyways, don’t take my word for it… you’ll just have to try this place for yourself!“

“Small little cocina tucked around the back of a gas station in a small neighborhood. Had a nice outdoor seating area. The hostess was incredibly kind and friendly. Ordered the tuna melt and garlic fries, and wow, was it amazing. There was a steady stream of take out and dine in customers, so we could tell it was a popular local spot. We wish we lived locally and we'd eat here more. The menu has many delicious options for tacos &, burritos. Oh, the michelado was 👌🏽 We had gone for a big hike in the area and the portions were perfect.“

“I’m really happy you guys reopened but I’m upset. The macaroni salad is my favorite thing about this place. I don’t know who chaged the recipe but Change it back immediately or make it right. Too watery and too tangy. Tastes like Mayo soup.

This burrito was perfection. It was huge and flavorful. The ratio of all the ingredients was perfect. Every ingredient from the tortilla, to the cheese, to the meat, to the rice was delicious and shined on its own. Put it all together and I was very pleasantly surprised and highly recommend this establishment. Service was attentive and friendly. Hibiscus Agua fresca was very refreshing.“

“We met up here for breakfast and we were happy we did. We arrived as they opened. We learned that they start serving mariscos after 9am. We had chiliquiles verdes and machaca con huevos. Both plates were delicious. The chiliquiles had a small kick (spice) to it, which I loved. Homemade tortillas came with the machaca. We also had the agua de jaimica, which was good. Service was great and ambiance was great as well. We'd definitely come back.“

“Chinatown can be a daunting place to dine in San Francisco due to its vast authentic cuisine which is unlike anything outside of China itself. I don’t speak or read any of the dialect, but somehow managed to order food and drink that was delicious. I’m pretty sure that we created much amusement for the other diners who were rather interested in the ‘foreigners’ selections. Hey, we’re tourists from the UK enjoying our adventures and are used to ridicule thanks to our lousy corrupt government, it was no big deal. Chinatown, great cuisine in very different surroundings. Highly recommended.“

“Just finished a wonderful family dinner here. Had a mix of dishes each were well-spiced and cooked perfectly. The naan was buttery soft and the garlic was freshly chopped. The restaurant was extremely clean and well-lit and the service was attentive and kind. We left with full bellies as I couldn’t stop eating one more taste and with the generous portions we have some leftovers for tomorrow I am already looking forward too!
