“Quick and delicious food! If you're looking for something to eat, this is a great place to consider out of the many restaurants on Telegraph! The yucca fries are a MUST order my partner and I talk about how we crave them quite often. The sauce it comes with should be bottled!“
“Despite a slight discrepancy in pricing compared to the menu, the quality and flavor of the food more than made up for it. We ordered two super burritos, which totaled around $26 instead of the expected $18.50 according to the menu. The burritos were generously filled with flavorful ingredients, including rice, beans, fresh tomato, onion, cilantro, and salsa. We opted for the lengua (beef tongue) and triipas (intestine), and both were cooked to perfection, tender and savory. The portion sizes were ample, ensuring we left feeling satisfied. One thing to note is that El Farolito only accepts cash, so be sure to come prepared.“
“You can find the taco panzon most days at the intersection of Campbell and grand from 12:15 pm. This food truck is amazing. Really. The entire ambiance, the crew that frequents it; it is a community you want to be a part of. They have two chairs you can sit on and gulf down some tacos and be on your way. Not somewhere to sit and dine but for a quick pick me up it is highly recommended. Food quality is too notch, pickled jalapeños and zuccini and generous avocado portions with the taco orders when you ask for everything on em. Can't hype it enough! But don't expect to wine and dine, it's a food truck.“
“Chisme has the BEST vegan tacos and burritos in SF. Plus great prices, fresh ingredients, quick service, a solid happy hour menu, and friendly staff! ?Dietary restrictions: Great for people with dietary restrictions! Clear menu and delicious options for vegan/gluten free diets“
“Glad I came across this place on Instagram- I had a really good experience here. The complimentary nachos were warm and super crunchy, the salsas delicious. The Quesabirria is so, so good and it’s a generous serving for $16. Jose and his family are super nice. Be sure to put this spot on your „Want to go“ list!Kid-friendliness: Enough room for strollers“
“Food is always fresh and delicious. Portion sizes are substantially filing for a taco and they do have unique offerings every now and then on tacos like egg, broccoli, etc! Both indoor and outdoor dining options are available and the vibe is very laid back. Service is quick but lines can quickly form during odd hours too.“
“This is by far one of the best taco trucks in the area. I have been coming back here for about two years, and I'm finally writing a review. I have tried everything on their menu and only one item I don't like, but it's my personal opinion. Their seasoning it's always on point. In two years, the food is always great. You get a good amount of meat per taco compared to every other truck in the area. Also their price is much lower than the competition. I have tried every single taco truck in the mission district, and this one is by far the best.“
“Sitting at the park bench at a smog shop on San Pablo, THIS is the gritty, urban, off- Gourmet Gulch affordable and lovingly made $3 taco experience you need to break out of the bubble. Slow simmered marinated chicken with a dollop of grilled onions, cut-up radishes what's not to like? Go there late enough for free side show entertainment! Across the street from this building north of Ashby...“
“Was craving tacos and found this place. Didn't realize it was located in a cute food court with other dining options but good to learn. There was plenty of seating inside and outside, likely due to it being a weekday. Im sure the weekend is a different story.I went for tacos but ended up with the special that day, the carnitas plate. It came with pickled onions and tomatillo salsa verde. Served with corn tortillas, arroz Mexicano, and refried black beans. The young lady who took my order assured me it was a good choice. She wasn't wrong, it was delicious and a large portion. I had two meals in one. This place is it. I'd be here all the time if I lived in the area.“
“If you ready for a fingerlicious experience,You need to come here!!Parking: Is behind the building , a lots of spaces but a bit difficult to get inKid-friendliness: Outdoor and clean space so kids can be kidsWheelchair accessibility: Access big on the street side is plenty of room ?“
“Really happy we discovered the North Beach Cantina on a very competitive block. Their taco Tuesday is one of the better deals we've found. We each got 3 vegetarian tacos for $7. She loved hers, and the impossible chorizo I had was better than expected. This place has good music and vibes and the staff is awesome. There will be many taco Tuesdays for us I expect.Vegetarian options: Good place for vege tacos.“
“Amazing happy hour special where I got 3 tacos, a sangria with tips for less than $20- a steal for SF dinner prices! The service was attentive and kept the place clean occasionally checking in on our group to see if we needed more food.My favorite was the mushroom taco it was surprisingly spicy!Lots of tables for big groups inside so I can see it being a popular spot on a Friday or a more lively time.“
“I live a few blocks away (3 minute drive) and was looking for a new taqueria spot and this is it! Came in on a Friday night and ordered at the restaurant and food was ready in 10-15 minutes. We ordered the carnitas and carne asada burrito and both were really good. The meat was fresh and seasoned super well! The guacamole and cheese they use was amazing. Portions are good too!“
“This is a Mexican restaurant Located at el Sobrante and this environment is very clean and the employees are very nice and they have a good amount of pictures inside of their restaurant. The bathroom is also clean and the tables are nice wooden finish. They have a note saying that to throw your trash away after you eat they also have outdoor tables with plants around they also have a seat. that looks really good and they have machines that give out candies and stuff so their holding is really decorated. Their chairs are also good. They have lights around the building. The food is also very good. They keep it hot and they give you numbers which they call out and you go get, your food which is little they also give you small packets of chips and salsa, but for more you have to pay extra salsa, they have green, red and mango and chunky. They all are good. So definitely recommend this place.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options“
“This is a great spot for late night eats! The are open past 10pm, take Venmo or cash and are little pricey, but definitely worth it! You purchase inside the gate under the tent, then take your ticket to the food truck window. I got 5 tacos and a Pepino Agua Fresca and spent around $30. They did forget one of my tacos, so I had to go back for it, but they gladly made me very quickly and I was a happy camper. I got green sauce on mine and ate every single one of them. They were so delicious! There's lots of lights around the area and plenty of parking behind the truck, and in front of it. I can't wait to go back and try the burrito quesadilla and birria!“
“One word to describe this place "WOW." The food was honestly beyond our expectations. We were looking for something near by to eat and we came across Pipirin. The order was ready within minutes from ordering. We order tortas and tacos of pierna, carnitas, birria and Lengua all meats where so good to say the least. This is a must try.“
“Best tacos in the Bay Area! I ordered one fish taco, one birria with cheese, and one pastor taco. The tacos come with chips and salsa. All four salsas are good but I love the avocado based one. The fish taco is definitely my favorite. The chipotle sauce on top is amazing and the fish is fried beautifully to hold up to the sauce and pico de gallo. A little less chipotle sauce would be nice. The birria taco and consommé is delicious. I recommend this taco to everyone who comes here. The pastor taco was good but I've definitely had better on the street. Service comes at a counter where you order and they deliver it to you after. They are very kind and willing to answer any questions. It's actually a pretty big place for SF so larger groups can eat here.“
“The best damn tacos in Oakland, full stop. Usually carne asada is a throwaway order, bland cardboard for white people (like me) who don't know anything about Mexican food (fortunately not like me). Not here. A friend who used to be a Michelin star chef proclaimed this the best carne asada he'd had outside of Mexico, and I agree wholeheartedly. And that's not where the show stops. Super legit pastor, fire fish tacos, solid vegetarian options, and don't skip the specials--I have yet to be let down. The brisket barbacoa especially is one of my top three tacos I've had in my entire life. Get the handmade flour tortillas, it's worth the extra money. And did I mention unlimited guacamole? Show me another place with unlimited guacamole. Not to mention the otherworldly salsa matcha. Don't sleep on this spot.“
“We went to Tacos Del Barrio for my wife’s birthday, and had a wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the place had a lovely atmosphere. Michelada was refreshing, and we enjoyed our tacos immensely. I ordered the specials, and was impressed, as well as chicharrons and guacamole. We would come back again and again if we could.“
“This place is phenomenal! I was on a work trip and in dire need of some REAL food and this place Did NOT disappoint! Probably the BEST salsa I've ever eaten, one of the top contenders for their carnitas! And the melon Agua was perfection! The owner is a AWESOME and super funny! THE ATMOSPHERE just made me smile! Love the authentic decor and very clean! I will definitely be back! Probably multiple times before I head home. It's been a LONG time since I've had Mexican food THIS GREAT!THANKS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE COOKIE AND STAFF!!“
“The food was very good, my partner and I stopped here before going to see a movie at the Regal Jack London and couldn't have been happier. We ordered one california burrito and split it and with the chips that come on the side it was enough food for both of us. Overall it is pretty cheap too, especially considering its location in the downtown area. Would highly recommend for a quick pickup and go or a dine in/date night.“
“We love Degrees Plato! My family and I are there weekly with friends from the neighborhood and our kids. Great beer, great service, and food is consistently good - my fav is the chicken sandwich! Grab a table at the outdoor patio or a spot inside. Inside can get echoey which may be too loud for some patrons. They also have an amazing selection of beer for purchase - even if you can't hang out stop by to grab a 6-pack or two of local Bay Area beer. Great selection of non alcoholic options for your pregnant or non-drinking friends!“
“The best al pastor tacos in the bay. The service is excellent and the prices are very affordable.Any Mexican restaurant sells pastor but it is pure grilled enchilada meat with a very bad flavor. This taqueria has been the best I have found since I left Mexico ♥️“
“This place is absolutely delicious and is some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Bay. It is a family owned resturant with authentic, well-crafted food. We had the super burrito, fish and soyrizo tacos and they were all amazing! It’s great there are a both meat and veggie options too. The margaritas were great and it all came in at a very affordable price. We will be regulars here now.Vegetarian options: Mushroom tacos and soyrizo tacos“
“This taco truck is definitely built off of love. Their meats are proper and this is definitely a place I'd even wanna work at. These guys know what their doing , and so when you come here, please pay it forward to these men, drop a couple dollars in the "VIP SERVICE" Tip jar .... You won't regret it(:“
“What a find! I don’t give out these sort of compliments lightly but their al pastor is off the charts good.! I had the Al Pastor super burrito and it was amazing but I’m sure everything here is good. Also super nice vibes. My new go-to spot in Richmond.“
“Caribbean cuisine right at the Ferry Building. You order at the counter and pick up the food. I tried the Cuban sandwich and the beef plate with rice and beans. It's typical Caribbean with some spice and sweetness not spicy hot. Try the strawberry juice.“
“Great tasting tacos! Very accommodating if you don't like a specific topping, they'll take it off. I'm from San Diego originally and this has got to be one of the closest tasting tacos to that of San Diego's delicacy. It's hard to find a good taco in the Bay, but this is it.“
“Super delicious tacos! Their roasted duck and quesabirria tacos were my top favorites. The duck was oh so flavorful and tender, while the quesabirria had just the right balance of juicy spice and savory cheese. Everything down to the chips and guac here were fantastic. To top it off, the service here is over the top amazing. Everyone on the staff was so incredibly friendly. They made me feel like I was home.I highly recommend a visit to Frank Grizzly's!“
“The only reason I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere is the location - I probably wouldn’t hang out there late at night. But I was able to park close, hop out and get a vegan burrito late on a Wednesday night- it was delicious- loaded with fresh veggies and I got two sides of salsa and pickled carrots and jalapeños on the side.Parking: I parked illegally, just to pick up.“
“I dined with a friend over dinner at this place. The place is in the first floor of Marriott Marquis. I parked at the nearby SFMTA Ellis garage. We got a place outside for a Thursday dinner. The service was fast and convenient. I got myself a salmon en hoja de platano which is a banana leaf wrapped salmon with rice and beans. Being a Bengali, I'm intimately familiar with cooking fish wrapped in banana leaf, typically known as "Paturi" in our cuisine and culture, though in our case the fish is cooked in mustard paste. Here, the fish is cooked in a chile glaze and tasted delicious. The reddish tinge in the photo is because of the heater outside. Overall, the place serves good food and worth a try.“
“This place is a weekend go to! I like the Camaron taco most, and the Pollo tacos are really good too. I’ve tried nearly all the vegan tacos in Oakland, and this is my favorite by far.Heart and dagger is around the corner, and they let you bring in food, so that’s a nice option, or the live music at the farmer’s market Saturday afternoons.“
“Friendly and accommodating service. Requested a few ingredients off my food (no sour cream and their hot red sauce in place of pico de gallo in a Carnitas crispy flat top burrito). They give you options for bean choice and I love refied beans in a burrito! Carnitas were crispy and flavorful. Burrito was crispy and all ingredients tasted really good and fresh! Their red sauce is really good. I am dead inside so it did not feel spicy to me, but if you are not a fan of spicy sauce you can customize your order. Most importantly and what made me love this burrito is that there is not an overwhelming rice stuffed burrito! I am from Southern California and we are not down with rice burritos, sorry SF locals, that is just not my thing. So if you want a burrito that is mostly protein (meat and beans) this place is a great choice. Service was quick food portions are great and in my opinion well worth the price especially in this area. Will definitely come back and try other dishes in this cozy corner of Lower Nob Hill! Buen Provecho and Tip your lovely Service Peeps!“
“Felt like I was back in the motherland (Mexico). The dark, sketchy street just adds to the atmosphere. This place takes zelle if you don't have cash. The tacos are 3 bucks a pop, and they fill them fat. Best dang taco I've had in a while.“
“Everyone in the office loves these tacos and never leftovers found the store through cater website but them get in touch directly with the store. They are on time with delivery, reply email or phone call to assist you quickly if you need help with your order.Vegetarian options: 100 % vegetarian options and vegans as I need for some coworkers.“
“The roast chicken and the black beans here are delicious. My wife and I make special trips here just to enjoy both. I’ve had other dishes here — tacos and enchiladas — and they’re good as well but those two basics are a powerful draw. Also, I just love the Emeryville Public Market.“
