The ddukbokki was served on a heating dish so it would stay hot throughout the meal. My kids devoured the dooki rice and cheese balls. The chicken was the sleeper hit though... “A hidden gem in a Korean market in Fullerton. They serve up fresh poke salads, Korean rice bowls and sushi for pretty cheap! I think nothing was over $15 and everything came with a mini udon. Got the crunchy poke salad which was so vibrant and colorful. Super fresh ingredients. The salmon and tuna was soooo tasty. Also tried the spicy pork bulgogi cupbap which I could probably eat daily and never tire of it. Also got the Hawaiian shrimp roll which my kid loved.

“Cute place. The eel ubu was fantastic, very tender. The bulgogi and pork teriyaki ubu were also very good. Inari is a really fun form factor for these classic Korean and Japanese ingredients (it was new to me). I thought it would be messy but it stayed together very well.“

“I came before closing so the restaurant was quiet. I ordered the half and half bowl and it was more than satisfying. The beef and chicken were equally delicious. For added flavor you have to add the magic sauce.. Not spicy - just flavorful. I would like this place more if they had a location near Chicago. Very good restaurant. Very good food. Come check them out.“

“I had gotten the chicken ginseng soup and although the wait was a bit long, it was definitely worth the wait. They packaged up the food so well and gave side dishes such as rice, kimchi, spicy fish cake and etc.The soup was a life changing experience, it was like soothing to my core and left me feeling fulfilled. My emotions were calm after eating the soup. In the soup. There was a whole small chicken and stuffed with dates, and rice. The rice inside the chicken became almost creamy like congee and was the star of the show, to me. The chicken was tender and light on my stomach and the side dishes paired well with the entire meal. I look forward to coming back to this restaurant and trying more dishes.“

“I love bbq chicken but for some reason I always have problems with this BBQ chicken in fullerton, the chain is amazing but one of the staff here don’t really care for the customers and to be honest I order the same thing every time and this time I ordered my same order but the young girl on the phone said they couldn’t do it yet I’ve been to multiple BBQ chickens and I also called 4 of the BBQ chickens for the same order and there was literally no problem at all. Love the food but the staff is weird“

I went there for lunch recently for the first time in years, and the prices were the same as 7–8 years ago. The free side dishes were also delicious.

These days, dining out is so expensive that it's hard to choose a restaurant, but I think the owner made a very wise decision. When you live generously and share with others, you'll be blessed and make plenty of money.

They’ve brought back the original flavors, and the service was great too. I’ll always be happy to open my wallet for food like this. Try having a bowl of soondae soup with a shot of soju, like you see on Korean TV — it’s the true taste of Korea.

“This is a long overdue review. We go here at least once a month. Although we get the same thing every time. There has ever only been one minor hiccup, but the waitresses remedied that quickly. It can get quite busy during dinner time, and there are no reservations ahead of time.

You will get consistent and good quality food every single time. Lunch is cheaper than dinner. Don't expect to have a conversation with the staff here. It's wham bam here's your food.“
