“Went here for the first time today. Was a late lunch and we were the only customers there. My wife ordered the Chnpon ramen I had the fried chicken ramen. We were served promptly by the efficient server. Both our dishes were flavorful and generous portions. Hard to understand the few reviewers who felt the food was bland. My wife has visited Japan and felt this was an authentic Japanese Raman . This is our go to ramen place. Highly recommended!“
“The noodle dishes were very good! We had a largish group, so we tried the first three soups on the menu and a couple of the dry noodle dishes, which were all Delicious. The chicken skewers were all bone and not worth the trouble of eating. The lamb skewers were tasty but greasy. I liked the cumin-heavy seasoning a lot.“
“This is my 2nd time coming here .The food is made with so much love the flavor is so on point . Waitresses are very pleasant as well . My favorite dishes are the yellow curry , shrimp prawn with Tom yum sauce and the mango sticky rice was soo good the coconut flavor was warm and delicious the mangos were sweet so on point.“
“Had a good time hanging out with my friends. Self-service picking ingredients: vegetables, meat, fish balls, shrimps, noodles, tofu, etc. You pay per pound. I feel good with a lot of varieties. After picking ingredients, you can choose soup from four different soup bases. They will cook and serve you in a big bowl. I love marinated chicken gizzards. I tried mild spicy original bone soup. Would love to try the same soup with medium spiciness and also tom yum soup.“
“Bowl House is fantastic. Service was on-par and the owners go beyond what you expect. I ordered 34 garlic sesame chicken plates and (some sides for me potstickers with ponzu - awesome, shrimp plate - awesome) - and requested all 34 plates to be prepared by a certain time. Not only was it ready, packed, but William and his wife helped me bring the boxes to my van. All 34 plates were eaten and University of Redlands Mens Water Polo players and coaches. They were super thankful. If I am in La Verne, I would come back to Bowl House. It is in kind of an old town La Verne area where you can park and walk around and visit the local shops. Parking was easy. Thank you so much!“
“After having some ok Beef Noodle Soup in Lomita, I had to come to No 1 Noodle House to do it justice. I ordered Beef & Tendon Noodle Soup with an extra side of pickled cabbage. It is so tasty. Spice is nice. Everytime I come here it just hits the spot.“
“I will never eat at another sushi place again, especially in this area ! Kisetsu is the real deal. The fish is EXTREMELY fresh and the best quality I have had in a number of years. The service is superb and the owner Joel and team bring a fun vibe while in a nice cozy setting. I can't say enough about how good the food is here and a bonus is the affordable price points ! My friend who doesn't historically eat sushi now eats sushi after eating here! We can't wait to come back very soon. Thank Joel and team for such a great experience !“
“Hainan chicken is alright not bad, but taste more like some hong kong style chickenThe beef noodle soup( with the white soft noodle) is actually really good! The spicness is also perfect, the soup can also feel the light beef broth and the noodle blend well with it, def a hidden gem.“
“Finally got to try Fennel Bistro during my lunch work hours and it was very satisfying. The meats were cooked deliciously and the flavors were spot on. The clay rice was crispy and well flavored. The meat to rice ratio was perfect for my preference. The place is simplistic and clean. Random, but it was fun to see the steam rise from the clay pots every so often inside, and it feels like a huge humidifier. No issues at all with the service, our waitress was very kind to explain how to pick out and order the clay pot combos.“
“Always a pleasure coming here. The food is packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, and served with generous portions.I work in the plaza and go here often for lunch. The service is always top-tier and the staff are welcoming. Whether you're taking it to go or enjoying the ambiance of the store, PhoX is the perfect place to get a delicious, filling meal.I go here at least once or twice a week and I don't plan on stopping any time soon!“
“Highly recommend Happy Morning. Met a couple of friends here for a nice family style dinner. The service was very quick and staff was very kind and welcoming. The place is tucked in a corner of the Vons plaza by Rite Aid, on the other end of the plaza to other eateries, popping yolk, four seas, boiling point. The food was nicely portioned, perfect for family style and everything was fresh and very delicious. The decor was modern and very clean. 5 adults and 2 toddlers left very full and satisfied with left overs to boot. We tried a variety of veggie, noodle soup, fried rice, half chicken and everything tasted great. Growing up in San Gabriel/alhambra this place reminded me of the spots I grew up eating at, now I have a great food spot not far from the house. Can't wait to come back!“
“We have been coming here for years and it has never changed. Been just as great and the first visit. Every item on the menu is good and the portions are big. This is a must visit and try new items on the menu until you have found your favorite.“
“2nd time here. The tendon is not chewy at all. Soft and flavorful. The broth has great flavor too. I have had great service both times. I think this is my new favorite spot.I do wish they would give 2 containers for the togo though. I have to ask for 2. Saving soup with everything together is not my favorite“
“It's a great restaurant. While dining here, you can also enjoy the ramen noodles, shaved noodles, and various vegetables made by the ramen master on site. They are nutritious and well-matched. There are also beef burritos, steamed buns...“
“Delivery only.I've ordered delivery a few times throughout the past years and their food is always fresh and delicious! You would not have thought it was take out because it comes nice and warm. The taste is oh so good! Overall great food and quick delivery. Shout out to the cooks! The food is always right! I can only say good things about your food, always!“
“Been here a couple of times and it’s always good. Tried the bulgogi egg rolls, they were good just didn’t like the cheese on the top but they were really good. also got extra noodles and it was a great idea so we could all have some more!Parking: Can be kind of difficult to find parking but not impossible.Kid-friendliness: We’ve brought small children and there was no issues.“
“I incidentally found this Vietnamese restaurant - Sigon Noodles. I ordered Pho Dax Biet House Special Pho (regular size) at the very reasonable price of $10.95 and a dessert “three beans with coconut milk” at $4.50. Fairly quickly, I got my noodle. the beef taste perfect and beef is cooked just right: not raw but not too hard, giving you a meaty satiation with each bite. the tendons are very good: Part of the tendon is so well cooked that it melts in my mouth, and another pot has sufficient texture for you to enjoy the film of sinking your teeth into the tendon. crispy bean sprouts add the inviting fresh vegetable flavor to the soup, the basil spread it pleasant fragrance to the whole big bowl. the noodles are very good - everything is so right, with every bite every minute I enjoy this simple pleasure and absolute pleasure. it’s a true enjoyment with so reasonable CostAfter I satisfied myself with the delicious beef noodle, I began to enjoy my dessert - three beans with coconut milk. I am so very happy that I made the best choice to add this delicious dessert. It just took my dining experience to a new level! the beans are cooked very well, soft and fragrant. Coconut milk spread its soothing pleasure that goes through my nose and mouth through then down my throat down, carrying the enjoyment down and through. every spoon gives me renewed enjoyment. I enjoy every sip of the coconut milk, every chewing of the three beans. My pleasure did not diminish any little bit with every mouthful of the delicious dessert. I so feel so fortunate that I selected not only the right restaurant but also the two right dishes. I know I will return to Saigon Noodles next time I’m in Diamond Bar.“
“Recently tried this spot being in the area an wanting a taste of some fresh food. I highly recommend this spot as you do get what you pay for the food is delicious freshly made, you can taste the flavors put into there food absolutely found my new spot.“
“The Hainan chicken rice combo set for 2-3 people is a must-get. The chicken is smooth and juicy, with skin, no bones. It comes with chicken broth, marinated cucumbers, spiced peanuts, chicken broth rice, and two condiments (ginger scallion oil and a sour sweet chili sauce). I also like the potato noodle soup. The soup includes quail eggs, small meatballs tofu skins, kelp noodles, and baby bok choy.“
“Taiwanese fast food self serve restaurant. Lunchtime (Sunday) is very hard to get a seat before 2 pm so take out maybe a better opinion. Noodles are very delicious and al dente. Soy Wild Mango is very good, and not too sweet. Pork Chop and Porksticks can be slightly salty but overall is good. Probably the cheap eats here because no tips included, and come back to try more next time.“
“The food is great, very tasty... Services are very friendly, but you have to be super clear on your order, and they are still not getting it right. The place is cleand, they don't have a waiting line which I love it, they don't make you feel rushing for leaving the table for someone else. So far, I have been there 3 times.“
“This is no Michelin type restaurant but the food is authentic, delicious and fresh! The restaurant is modest and clean and the the service was on pint! The fried rice was one of the best I've had in a long time. The portions are generous and priced very reasonably! This was a great discovery!“
“Best fried noodle (no.12) in town and I would say it is even better than a similar fried noodle in Hong Kong ( no matter it is Indonesia or Chinese style). Chicken satay also great with a little bit burn finish, tendered thigh, and the peanut sauce is awesome! However the sticky rice is Soso that the texture is not the best I tried and it doesn't with enough coconut flavour.“
“The service is friendly and kind. The food has wonderful flavors and the best I have found in the area. I've tried other restaurants and they are lacking flavor and freshness. We always order enough for a few days and it stays fresh and flavorful. I recommend this restaurant if you want better than average tasting food. The Orange Chicken is so flavorful. The beef is tender and melts in your mouth. Kung Pao is perfectly spicy. Those are the staples of our orders. We add a new one every time just to change it up and haven't been disappointed.“
“Ordered the number one with thin egg noodles and the number eight with thick egg noodles. Both were very good! My fiancé really enjoyed the number one and said it tasted authentic. I thought the number eight broth was too salty but the barbecue pork was good and the lettuce fresh. The interior is very nice and clean. It looks almost new.“
“It was REALLY good food! Absolutely superb! The fried rice was some of the best I've ever tasted! And the Dan Dan noodles were also amazing! We went there for lunch so there was zero wait time and only one other person when we got there. As we finished up there was nearly ten in at the tables, so we beat the rush. The waitress was nice and took our orders quickly. She was a little pushy at the end when she was asking why we hadn't left a bigger tip but that was OK. We're all trying to make ends meet.Overall a great experience! Thanks you!“
“Very small parking lot but lots of street parking. I had a short wait during lunch time on a weekend. The staff are super nice and food comes out very fast Nanchatte tonkatsu ramen: milky creamy and flavor broth. It's very comforting especially on a cold day. Ramen noodles are cooked just right. Deep fried stuffed soft shell crab: a nice appetizer. The outside is very crispy and it appears to be stuffed with imitation crab meat. Omelet rice with pork cutlet and curry sauce: the portion is very large. It was very delicious. Curry sauce is nice and sweet. The pork cutlet is nice and crispy, the meat is juicy. I would definitely get this again and it would be two meals. Definitely stop by when you're craving some comfort Japanese food! The menu is very large and there is a lot to try.“
“I've been going here for years and use to get their popcorn chicken over rice but the last few times I've gotten it, the popcorn chicken were super large pieces and I don't think all the pieces were fully cooked. (Eek) Now my go to is the ground pork and mushroom dry noodles with thick noodles. Add some spicy to it and it's perfect! My husband really likes their red grain pork. The space is small but they do have a few tables outside, if it's full inside. The Staff are friendly and normally really quick to address anything you need. Recommend if you're looking for a decent Taiwanese meal in the area.“
“Haven't been here since remodeled. Prices are good based on the area, and no need to pay tips because almost everything is self serve. However, service is ok but not every employee has good service. Food is good, and you have to self serve soy sauce or chili sauce etc. Porridge is still an excellent and big portion in my opinion. I like the Pork Chop and the black pepper sauce is the perfect match, and pork chops are not dry. Probably a place will come back for brunch.“
“The Fried Thai Basil rice was really good. I got Pad Thai (tofu, no eggs, xtra peanuts). It was pretty good, I think I would have liked it a tad spicier. Our server was really nice and place was clean. Tea wasn't the best, but there are other places in plaza to get that.“
“Major selling point of authentic taste, and that promise was mostly delivered.Three dishes are excellent, better than anywhere else, and will return for more:Shredded chicken has very good texture and excellent flavor. No ginger dip provided because it's already mixed in.Beef offal has sweetbread (pancreas ) , tripe and stomach. Very good flavor and good sauce.Lamb hotpot is very good to excellent, miso dip will persuade people who don't like the lamby gamey to love it.Three are recommended, but similar could be available elsewhere :Stir fry pork liver has good temperature control resulting in good texture, but the sauce is a little heavy for my taste.Long beans with minced pork was good to fair.Hot pot rice was fair. Good flavor but I want more crispy burnt rice at the bottom.Only dish I don't recommend is the noodles in Peking sauce. The flavor was off, not what I expected. Also tried beef offal rice noodles soup. Good to very good. And the serving is huge. Best buy.The steamed egg white desert is fair to good. Not too sweet. The chef has a tendency for bigger flavors. Perfect for anyone who does not like blandness. Overall strongly recommended.Vegetarian options: A vegetarian section available on menuDietary restrictions: Ask before ordering. Not impossibleParking: Large strip mall outdoor parkingKid-friendliness: Fair to good kid friendly. Not much hazard . Saw families dining. Didn't ask for or seen high chair.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to curb, swing glass doors. Fair spacing between tables and clear lane to toilet“
“Convenient place to come for grabbing a quick bite to eat for lunch or dinner. Reasonable prices. If you order 2 sandwich baguettes you get one free. I really like their BBQ pork and shredded chicken baguettes. They also have ready to go meals such as fried rice, chicken with rice and pork chop with rice.“
“Got the beef pad Thai I always ask for spicy and every else i go I always need to add more this place hit it on the head nice and spicy and super flavorful and I got my meal in like less than 5 min of me walking through the door will comeback and for “
“We ordered frog with chili and frog with pickled chili. Both are fresh and great! We wrote in the notes to ask if these dishes could be made as less spicy as possible. They made it, without loss of flavor. The cauliflower dry pot is also tasty. So this is certainly not a restaurant providing pre-made food. I haven’t try too many Szechuan restaurants in LA, but if this was in great Seattle area, this restaurant would be the top.“
“Easy access ample parking, you will never have trouble with it. This place seems to be a hybrid, probably has many take out orders. You will never have trouble finding a table. The ordering process is entirely in Mandarin, you will have difficulty if you don't speak Mandarin at all. The food is the highlight, at the recommendation of the staff we got the first option potato noodle which is basically an everything combo. I would say as long as you are into spicy noodles this alone is worth all the inconveniences. Overall there are not many potato noodles in the area and this place fulfills an interesting niche. Worth a visit.“
“Very delicious restaurant! Three people ordered three dishes, and the portions were generous, with some leftover. The eel claypot rice is very fragrant and the eel has a crispy and smooth texture. The barbecued pork is fat but not greasy, and has just the right amount of sweetness. The glutinous rice sausage is a little more ordinary, but tastes good. I really want to try roast goose next time“
“The food is delicious and the taste is pure. For some meals, the waiter even asked me if I wanted black vinegar. After using it, the flavor really improved! The kitchen and front desk staff are equally professional and competent! Highly recommended!“
“Lan Noodle is for sure the best noodle place I have tried so far. The noodles are fresh and handmade. It is done before your eyes from the scratch. They have different shapes of noodles from thick round to thin round to thinnest round to angel hair to wide flat, thin wide, chives flat or triangle noodle. So when you order your soup, be ready to choose your favorite noodle. Overall,The restaurant is very clean. There are plenty of parking spots, so there is no problem at all. The service was outstanding.Shout out to Clara who was our hostess. She explained the menu thoroughly. she also came to our table several times to check on us and to change the water carafe before we asked. The menu was very tempting , so we ordered many delicious dishes. Our meal was as follows; -Pork pan fried; it was absolutely one of the top pork pan fried I have ever tried. It was very juicy and flavorful. It is a must try one. -Kelp and Smashed cucumber. Both of them was really irresistible -Chicken Gizzards. It is not a very simple dish as you imagine. The taste was incredible, juicy and tender. -Veggie noodle soup which has mushrooms, silken tofu& bok choy with moderate spice. The amount was humongous. I chose the wide flat noodles. My goodness! The fresh noodles with the vegetables and some cilantro on the top with a light kick from the spice complement the soup.It was heavenly delicious! My daughter got their famous beef Lan noodles and she enjoyed it too. We also order beef Chinese burger to go. It was very tasty and flavorful. This one of the BEST noodle place, specially their comfort and savory food. It is a great place to try and hangout with friends or family and enjoy every single bite of their dishes.“
“Took a chance on this little gem after ambling around ikea for hours. I'm so glad that I did because this place is legit one of the best dumpling houses I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. My entire family was impressed. Highly recommend ??“
“Please ignore the reviews around 2 years ago, now it is a total different restaurant, they only dedicated in rice noodles. This is one of my top choice of Guilin style rice noodles in town.Very delicious Guilin rice noodles, rice noodles can be added for free, eat as much as you can but don’t waste it, there are very spicy chili, you can challenge it“
“first time coming here ...excellent food and servicepho has authentic taste and is not saltyperfect for pho loversthe appetizer are super tastyegg rolls were crunch and hoti may be biased because they also served the biggest ox tail i hadthey even gave me steak knife because te ox tail was so big“
“Great place for dining. However, their prices have gone up considerably over the years. For example, a plastic (not ceramic) can of Beijing yogurt costs over $4.00 is definitely overrated! Also, service speed is somewhat slow too although they make the noodles where we can see the process.“
“One best crispy pata in Southern California. Cripsy skin, soft meat, and it tastes very delicious. Vegetable sa gata consistently good. Owner need to put some effort on the Atmosphere. At least remove boxes and take out containers out of sight and fix restroom door with comb lock that is hard to open (have to ask waitress for combo but told me to just pull door hard with no apology - if they care). Need designer to update interior and exterior of restaurant. FilAm restaurant owners really need to level up their business in order to compete with other ethnic food restaurants.“
“Went here just for Halo Halo. Currently it's $13 & something for 2 of them, that includes tax. Their Halo Halo is one of the best tasting, in my opinion. Very sweet. Wasnt too crowded there today (Monday around lunchtime). Large menu. They have siapao and lots of other tempting menu options. We plan to come back sometime for lunch or dinner!“
“I highly recommend their food for dine-in and take out. I've been their customer for 20+ years, although they changed owners, but the chef remained the same. New dishes are also delicious, and I love their Taiwanese cuisine, especially their rice noodles. Some of my recommendations that I typically order are eggplant with basils, fried eggs with radish, onion pork, beef with ginger and scallion sauce, house special chicken in a pot, house special squid in a pot, fish filet in hot bean sauce, and hot and sour soup,“
“Food: - pork chop meal: 7/10, pork chop was tender and deboned, came with 2 sides (lettuce and mapo tofu) and minced pork rice - unlimited teas! Service: - friendly wait staff - freshly made meal (a bit of wait time but not too long, around 10-15 minutes) Ambiance: - homey - lots of parking“
“Review update. The charge was finally posted to our account and we were charged the full amount for our original order, even though the receipt attached to our order listed just the items that we actually received with a different total. So I took in the receipt and I politely...and this is important, folks! Be polite! The world does NOT need any more rude people...I politely spoke to the owner/manager about the issue. He was very apologetic and not only refunded me the difference but even offered to comp me some food or a couple of drinks. Now some food would have been good, but I also didn't want to impose on his graciousness, and so I asked if I could just get a Boba Milk Tea. He made me TWO Milk Teas with Boba! And it's pretty good! We will return. This particular issue with our order was the only one that we've experienced out of multiple visits to BMC Pho, and the manager/owner was extremely gracious in resolving it and making sure I left a happy customer.“
“Prices are on the high side, but they're running a promo 20% off special now. Most dishes are well prepared.Luv their Red Cook Pork with Tofu Knots, sound weird I know but oh so delicious !Covers most Shanghai regional dishes of China, cant go wrong with their noodles dishes as well as assorted rice and rice cakesWell worth a visit !“
“Food here is always consistent. I visit mainly for the undercooked skewers while prices are reasonable. Staff speaks limited English which isn't an issue, just point at the menu, they are a bit slow at service though but it isn't usually too busy. I recommend for late nights as they close at 3 am.“
“This was my very first visit. I am so upset that I have not been here before. I've been depriving myself of their food for so long! The sushi was immaculate. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very comfortable and has great vibes.“
