“I simply loved Road Runner Burrito. I live in Texas, and it's know we have fabulous Taco's. I was visiting a friend in California and was getting a tad hungry, so I saw a shopping center and figured I could find something quick to eat. This is when the magic happens. I saw Road Runner Burrito, and decided to give them a shot. Boy was my belly happy that I did. I ordered the Fish Tacos and they were a culinary delight. Without a shadow of doubt, they were in the 3 best tacos I've ever had. I promise you, if they were in Texas, it would be a weekly visit. The fish was grilled to perfection and they added just the right amount of slaw on top. Simply a fish taco executed at the highest level. Road Runner gets two thumbs up in my book.“

“Well, I discovered this small place in the heart of San Rafael and pffff I fell in love with the cuisine that led me to remember my mother's food in my beautiful Mexico. I'm sure I'll come back to try more of the menu but today I tried some carnitas and asada picaditas and their super tasty horchata water, I fell in love with this little place“

“I'm from Toronto and I loved my experience at Barrio! Mikey is fantastic! His personal touch and explanation of our tequila flight was exemplary. He introduced us to tequila that are better than anything we've tasted before (and we've tasted alot) The blue shell tacos and nachos were fantastic. We looking forward to coming back here next time we in San Fran.“

“So delicious with kind attentive service. I got the combo plate and each item was yummy. Usually it's a sea of beans with a blob of rice as a side note, but the beans and rice were stars themselves. The main choices were full of flavor and not overloaded with cheese and extra garnishes. We will definitely return if we are back this direction.“

“Absolutely some of the best food I’ve ever had! True california/mexican food. Very healthy, affordable, fresh ingredients, incredible recipes. I would eat here every week if I lived nearby. We had the salad, sweet potato quesadilla, cauliflower tacos, agua fresca and flan. There was homemade hot sauce and homemade tortillas. Every dish was SO GOOD. I can’t wait to eat here again!“

“Wanted tacos after weekend of camping. This was closest place on way home. Park under sketchy overpass area. Line out the door. Reasonable prices. Had 5 chicken tacos dorados plus side of sour cream and guac(don’t bother ordering the guac). Came with nacho chips plus red and tomatillo salsa. Total was $12. Lots of food for the money. Nothing exceptional but good and seems very popular among locals.“

“I read about this place on Nextdoor a couple of weeks ago. My husband is from Sausalito and never noticed the place. We decided to go this morning and we loved the food, atmosphere and service. The staff is so nice, welcoming and friendly! The customers are very respectful, and although it was not empty, people talking in the perfect volume of voice. I hate loud places. It’s our new favorite place in town.“

“Another review here complains about being called "boss" too many times - in my opinion - that would have only elevated the experience. Great burritos, great horchata, fair pricing, and overall solid meal. 9.5/10, but would be a 10/10 if I got called "boss."“

“I LOVE Saylor's for yummy carnitas tacos, the perfectly made, thin chips and great salsa. The staff is all very nice. I think it's fun to sit in the tiny bar area, but the main restaurant is also nice when you want a calmer eating environment. Cheers!“

“The surf and turf burrito is well worth the hype here. All of the cocktails are delicious, you really can’t go wrong. Playa has a great atmosphere inside and a back patio. Good clean classic Hispanic favorites like the carnitas plate, all kinds of tacos, and various plates. My only feedback…$19 for chips and guac…cmon guys. We are definitely regulars here. If you can catch taco Tuesdays, try to get there early!“

“Great food choices. This is an order-at-the-counter place, so no table service, but the workers were kind and responsive. And the food came out very fast. Sitting outside is probably preferable for atmosphere but we came in a cold day and sat inside which was just “OK.”“

“Hey, y'all! I visited Maya's on a coworkers suggestion and I was very pleased! I ordered the Carnitas Burrito, and it was GOOD! I asked for light rice and light on the beans. The tortilla was crusty and brown. I ate it about an hour later, and the Burrito ? was still in good "chomping" shape. ? It was not damp or mushy. I almost ordered the nachos, but did not want to be greedy. ? That'll be my choice on the next visit. I have passed by the establishment before, but I just did not have the time to visit. The staff (lady at the register) was nice and helpful with my questions. It's a must stop!Parking: Busy spot with other businesses nearby. Folks were parked in the street to place orders.“

“Food was great and not sure who the guy at the register was (whether he’s the owner or just an employee) but he was so pleasant! There was a large group of customers in front of us & he handled the rush so well & had such a positive attitude.“

“Best mission-style carne asada super burrito I have found in Marin. On par with the best of mission district. Their red spicy salsa is fantastic as well, heavy with roasted pepper flavor. I'm so grateful to have Sonora in the neighborhood.“

“I think it ahould deserve better than 4.2 stars. Service was quick and nice, portion was enormous and the meal was great! Nice hot sauce as well. You cannot expect better in a mall and the place was packed during lunch, which is always a good sign.“

“Looking for a coffee to go in the area we ended up in shoreline coffee shop. As we were walking towards the Cafe we preceived the aromas of the food coming to us and inviting us to stay and eat. The food was good and freshly cooked. It's a traditional breakfast place. It was sunny enough to sit outside. Coffee was good.“

“I recently had the pleasure of trying the chocolate cake, and it was a true delight. The cake itself was incredibly moist and had a deep, luscious chocolate flavor that was simply irresistible. The frosting was light and creamy, adding a perfect touch of sweetness. It was evident that great care was taken in crafting this cake, and it surpassed all my expectations. I highly recommend this chocolate cake to anyone in search of a decadent and satisfying dessert ❤️“

“This review is actually way overdue but while I have some time I wanted to thank El Sol for being my FAVORITE. I am a 10year plus customer, and I absolutely love the staff including the owner Joesapine because their customer service is top tier. I am a pescatarian but when I place my order for food I am always satisfied. They listen to me and always want their customers beyond satisfied! It was a time when I was in the hospital and El Sol continued to prepare my soups for me, which meant so much to me. A special, warm, pleasant ambience to dwell in. My favorites are the savory tiger prawn soup, crispy prawn tacos, and their juicy black beans! Thank you for everything. -Ashley“

“I got the Carne Asada “Deluxe” burrito for $15. Burritos be getting pricey everywhere honestly but local joint beats a Chipotle, for me.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ overall taste, was very delicious and it was pretty big, it had a fair portion of meat but wish it had more. The flavors were balanced and savory but it lacked in spice for someone who really enjoys spicy (and it was extra spicy they said). For me it beats something like Chipotle in flavor and price. There’s a 10% discount if you are a local student in the area.“

“Listen. We all workout and eat healthy. Except when we don't. Not shaming - just being honest. We do that here. When I am not eating a protein topped salad, veggie scramble with cheese, or protein shake for brunch, it means I am going to save those calories for a dinner that counts for OMAD. This is where my one meal of the day came from today. I ordered delicious carnitas and my husband had quesabirria from here for a previous order which motivated tonight's order. Tonight I had the chicken Suiza enchilladas and my husband had the quesabirria tacos - again. My enchiladas were perfect. The Suiza sauce was fresh and tangy, the pieces of chicken were so tender, and the soft gluten free corn tortillas had a lovely texture to the bite. The smooth refried black beans were medium spicy and the rice was nice and fluffy. Husband ate the fire roasted salsa with fresh hot chips. I could feel the heat through the sack and hear how crisp they were (chips are meant to be eaten loudly without offense) The entrees are really special. It definitely has that home made taste - not like a taqueria, more like what a mom lovingly cooks for her family ...or a chef armed with heirloom family recipes. I never visited the restaurant so I can't speak to the ambiance. We ordered everything to be delivered by DoorDash. Thankful for thoughtfully prepared, delicious hot food that I can taste those things mentioned above. Perfection. Fiver.“

“I ordered the macho burrito with steak and black beans. As soon as I got a few bites into it, I realized there is a reason this restaurant has been here for decades. It was delicious and packed with meat. The salsa which came with our chips was also fresh and tasty. As good as the burrito was, it paled in comparison to the service we received. "Leo" is an energetic and hospitable worker and we later found out that he is the owner. What a genuinely nice person! We will definitely make this a regular stop when we're in the neighborhood. Actually, we'll go out of our way to come here as well!“

“Masa Is a great local taqueria/tamaleria. They have the best fish tacos around, bar none. Baja style beer battered fish on a tostada! YES PLEASE. Ceviche options are generous and fresh. My mom drives from Marin to get tamales here. There is a generous selection of alcoholic beverages along with lots of non-alcoholic options including multiple aguas frescas that change daily. There are Mexican snacks for sale as well as a nice selection of grab and go dessets. I honestly have never had a bad meal here. I would LOVE a Chile relleno burrito on the menu- hint, hint! You can also order fresh, hot tortillas which I often grab when I've made a meal at home they will complement. Indoor and outdoor patio seating available.“

“Lovely experience at Avatars. GF had a salad with plain chicken while I had their famous salmon enchiladas. I think the tangy nature of the sauce comes from a reduced curry mix, salt and lime pickle. The hybrid Mexican / Indian theme is something that’s becoming bigger and bigger in the Bay. Good friendly service.Dietary restrictions: They can custom the order to your needs.“

“Amazing fresh food, service was amazing. There’s always seem to be more than one waiter helping tables which I find very helpful and satisfying to keep the place ruining at a fast pace. Friendly bartender Paul, greeted us with good energy, we got pretty drunk at the bar but he was constantly giving us water, and asking if everything was okay. Made us feel like at home. Usually places get mad for us being loud, (which is not on purpuso) we get carried by the good times, but the energy here was out the roof, very welcoming. We’re coming back again with my fiancé, we had a great time!!!Please give your staff a round of applause. Very well deserved. 10/10Dietary restrictions: Gluten free foodParking: Street parking is available with meter.“

“This restaurant offers some of the most authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine in the San Rafael. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with friendly and attentive staff who make sure you have a great dining experience. The menu features a wide range of traditional Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas, all made with fresh ingredients and flavorful spices. Overall, if you're looking for a fantastic Mexican dining experience, Taqueria Bahia is definitely worth a visit.“

“With patio and outdoor seating, this taqueria is a short bike ride or walk from the ferry. The service was excellent, friendly waitstaff bilingual in Spanish and English. We got the three taco special and the shrimp quesadilla. Both of us loved the quesadilla and my friend preferred the carne asada tacos whereas I like the Baja tacos best. They bring out a little sauce platter with crema too which is nice. Without the salsa the tacos were not heavily seasoned but the salsa was good and spicy. Between the two of us it was about $25/person plus tip, so this is definitely more of a sit down and have a pleasant meal kind of taco shop with a Sausalito vibe. They had a chile relleno special with crab meat but it was $38 so I held back. I would come back and try more seafood items.“

“Came here with a large group of 13 and they were able to accommodate our entire group which was super impressive!Good:- I liked the burrito a lot, the enmolada a bit less, it didn't have a lot of flavor but the burrito was savory and delicious- The mango agua fresca was super good and lightly sweet- Prices are good and not too bad for the areaBad:- The wait time was pretty long and it was hard to get a hold of servers- There were lots of flies around in the main area but luckily we were movedOverall this was a good setting for a big group setting.“

“My first visit to Mi Pueblo, but it's a favorite of many friends. One taste of the green salsa and chips while waiting for my order and I knew why. I ordered a chimichanga with carnitas. I had seen photos of it before ordering, but was not prepared for how big it is. Easily 2 pounds and I could only eat half. Plus a horchata. Last chimichangas I had were fried crispy. This was soft like regular burrito. But the flavors of the ingredients and toppings were all first class. I particularly liked the red chile sauce that covered the dish. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. I'm looking forward to visit again to try tacos and enchiladas.“

“We stopped by after being in town for a few days and needed some food at about 2pm on a Sunday. To the pro's: Quick service Highly recommend the ceviche if you like fresh options. Not our favorites: Although we tried the Chariza and Pabil tacos, we didn't want the whole plate with salad rice and beans. You cannot order ala carte and with 2 tacos to an order for $16 for the plate, it's not something I'd recommend if you're looking for just tacos. The mezcal marg was also decent but not my favorite. Worth a try if you're looking for a meal and not just a quick bite though.“

“The most friendly staff! And really funny too :-) they save the day with our last-minute Tamale request! And even helped me out to my car with them. This will be my new go to, and I love that it’s a little hidden hole in the wall. Located inside Marin, Medical Center, go through the gates that you pass on the left and it’s toward the back. Easily missed but once you get there, you’ll definitely be back. Thanks again guys!“

“We had a wonderful dining experience here on a Wednesday evening. It was very busy and the wait for a table of 5 was long, so we sat at the bar table which turned out to be awesome. The staff was super friendly and they even gave our kids crayons/activities.The food was excellent. My wife is hard to please when eating out…she was impressed with the flavor, presentation and quality of food. Best tortillas. The kids loved their chicken burritos and my Enchiladas plate was delicious. We had the Ice cream Sunday to top it off.The food and staff here are top notch. All smiles and such a great vibe. If you are in Corte Madera check them out!“
“A really nice, well-priced spot for tasty Mexican food. I always get the tofu chile verde burrito which is a really great veggie option. The inside is well-decorated and a nice casual spot. And the staff is friendly, always asking how I am doing before taking my order. Would certainly recommend!“

“I recently moved from Texas and my neighbor recommended Lucinda's to me. I went for the first time and the staff was very kind, they helped me figure out what to try for my first time. I ordered a taco and a carnitas burrito with guac it was super delicious the tortilla was nice and crisp. The places from Texas can't compare if i'm being honest. The only things were that there wasn't a lot of parking because of how busy it gets and the salsa wasn't too spicy but there was still flavor and it didn't matter because the food was still good. I will absolutely be going back.“
“Like you, I love tacos. These are fantastic tacos. I eat at el Yucateco a couple times per week and I never tire of any of the menu items. The panuchos, sopes, salbutes, and conchinita pibil are all terrific. Don't listen to any complaints about the quantity of hot sauce given. The stuff is so ridiculously hot that you don't need much. It is real hot sauce. You've been warned. What are you waiting for? You're are getting hungrier reading these reviews. Just go get some great tacos for a great price. These guys have the grail that you seek.“

“I dgaf about ambiance in a Mexican restaurant. Not part of the category. Looks like a hole in the wall, but its got places to sit and they play mariachi. The food is really good. So far I've only had burritos and a bite of a taco. I am a huge HUGE fan of their pastor super burrito. The pastor is awesome. The chicken was still really good but less good (imo) comparatively, but that's probably because it's not as fatty & delicious. The taco was a chicken taco and it was well done, too. Pretty basic in terms of primary ingredients, but the chicken is marinated well. They don't try to be anything but what they're supposed to be. But they do it well. Best burrito in San Rafael if you're looking for what the kids call Mexican food.“
“I loved what I orderedThe garlic mojo shrimp were delicious ? I also ordered a flan ? but I didn't get to take a photo of it, I missed it but it was too small for 4.50 I think that's what it costs I definitely won't order more“
