“Honestly it felt like Korea - clean, modern, everything delicious. Really good portions, too! We got the mille feuille beef thing and it was really fun and the dipping sauce was delicious! Dolsot bibimbap came in a low, wide stone pot providing a lot of surface area to make crispy rice and keep it warm. Banchan was good! Kiddo crushed the fish cakes and japchae which are usually bland and left aside. Will come back!

“This was my first visit to Myung Ga Haejangguk. The service was fantastic. They placed electric fans by me and were very attentive. We had the yukgaejang, a spicy beef brisket soup with sprouts, mushrooms, and rice noodles—it was amazing. The portion size was much larger than I expected. It was worth every penny. Complementary Banchans are excellent, they came around several times asking if we needed refills on water and any if the banchans too.

Food was excellent and more on the larger portion size(I think the soups and plates are for sharing fyi) which we did end up sharing through the meal.

Korean soju and beer are also served here along with fresh octopus and sashimi that are market price.

Would highly recommend as this is a newer restaurant only opened for 6 months? Forgot exactly what the server said. Limited English spoken and customers were mainly Korean so you know its legit. 5 stars??“

“I live nearby and decided to try this place for the first time today, boy was I surprised! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. I got the sweet and spicy chicken tenders and a strawberry milk. $18 did seem like a lot at first (with no smaller option) but after receiving the meal you get your money's worth. It's even enough to share or save some for a snack later. (Unless your a hog like me ?) “

Goes perfect with the aforementioned black noodles. The owner personally manages this location so the quality is always good.

“A hidden gem kbbq in Gardena. We had the duck set (about $149) which fed about 2-3 people. It comes with side dishes. The price is pretty high but their meat quality is great. It’s one of the most tender grilled duck I’ve had. They do all the grilling for you and finish with fried rice.“

“My new favorite Korean restaurant!The banchans are authentic. They are all delicious. I was a bit under the weather, so I ordered Galbitang. The broth was clear but full flavor. It's very simple and basic seasoning but tasty. I just wish there were more beef ribs. The menu offers a variety of traditional Korean dishes.The service is really warm and accommodating. We go for Korean BBQ - it's is a favorite.

We went here for my husband's birthday and he was so happy he did not have to do the bbqing. A server comes to your table and cooks the meat in front of you. We had the beef combination and it was plenty of food for two adults and two teens.

If you have never been for Korean BBQ, you should try it. It is not just eating out, it is an experience with opportunities to try new foods. The ambience is fun and the wall art is awesome, but it all points back to the star of the show - the food.

Vegetarian options: You can steam the abundant vegetables in a cypress wood steamer and dip them in the sauce. The brisket is especially thin and soft, so this is the best restaurant that anyone of any age can enjoy. Highly recommended!
