“Came here today for lunch and it was my 1st time and it was so good. I had brisket and a side of beans and drink for $40 the flavor was great and the beans were perfect. I had the strawberry kiwi lemonade and that was super good too. The bbq sauce was the cherry on top. Overall great experience. The young man that was working there alone was nice and attentive. Very home style feeling. I will absolutely be back with my foodie dad and tell others about this place.”

“Celebrated my 60th birthday here with an intimate gathering when i remembered being here once before many years ago for a menudo breakfast. Service was good aside for the wait to be offered a drink order when we were seated. Otherwise, food and service were great including the birthday serenade! The margaritas were ok but their mix is a little too sweet for my taste. Will definitely be back though!”

“My girlfriend saw this place a while ago and we finally got the chance to try about a week ago, the food is so delicious, this self-serve place has a nice variety of food drinks and ice cream, so far we had had food from here 3 times , and last night we had pistachio and strawberry cheesecake ice cream, so delicious. Parking: Not very sure if they have parking in rear, but a long Pacific Blvd is paid parking, . But I have seen some free public parking lots in the area”

“Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.

I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.

The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.

The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.”

I ordered Yellow Curry w/chicken & Pad Si Ew Noodles with beef to go, I was asked to have a seat and about 12-15 mins later the food was ready to go. The yellow curry was tasty but I tend to have very high standards when it comes to curry. It was more than adequate but it could have been spicier and to be honest, I’ve had better and worse. However, the Pad Si Ew Noodle with beef was AWESOME! It was so delicious and perfectly balanced. I would definitely come back just for this dish 😋”

“Im from Glendale, and was looking for a Cuban Bakery that had “ Capuchinos” its a cone shaped wet cake. I went to Portos and they discontinued them , so I went To Gigis and they didn’t carry them anymore.So I googled a Cuban Bakery in Hungtington Park and Moyas Bakery had a picture of them so I called before going there to see if they had them, the gentleman on the phone said yes. So I went there. I didn’t see them on the display case so I asked him and he said let me get them for you. I was so excited to see them. They were delicious. I took a dozen of them plus other pastries. It’s an old school traditional Cuban Bakery. I love it. I will be back

Parking: Only 4 parking spaces in front of this corner strip mall. One handicapped in front of the Bakery and 3 extra next to the Handicap space. I had no problem parking but I noticed there was more ample parking on the side.
