“I have been to the Sedona location and the Palm Desert location is even far superior. The taste, presentation and service were all exceptional... especially given that they have only been open for three weeks. The Mole Enchilada was the best I have ever had. “I’ve lived in Palm Desert all my life and since Restaurante Los Primos opened, it’s been my #1 food spot. I generally come in during lunch for their salads, which are a-mazing. I highly recommend the Sante Fe and Power Bowl. The staff is friendly, the food is great, what more could I want.“

“It's a very nice Mexican restaurant. My waiter was great and the food came out fast. I only have one complaint. I'm from the Midwest, Kansas and our Mexican food is served with ground beef, not shredded meat unless you order fajitas. I guess it's a California thing to use shredded meat instead of ground beef. Next time I google a Mexican food restaurant, I'll check out the menu first to see if they use ground beef!!“

“Best authentic mexican restaurant in the area. Not americanized. Customer service is A+, the staff is friendly, food is delicious and they have ice cold beer. I always get carnita tacos and a torta and they never fail to impress. Fully recommended“

“Very authentic and the best Mexican restaurant we've had in a long long time. We have the fajitas, Chili Verde 10 out 0f 10, steak tacos and homemade margaritas. You could tell the difference. Happy hour 12-7 even better. Our sever was very attentive! You will love the the price!!!!! Really recommend La Hacienda in Indio!“

“I hate to even say it because a bunch of Tourism is going to make this place like every other place. But if you're in the Palm Desert Rancho Mirage area there's probably no better authentic place. I'm only sharing this out of Duty because I would rather keep it as a Hidden Gem.“

“Over the top amazing. The fish tacos were incredible, the chili relleno is something I always order. Yes it is a Mexican restaurant but the food and the Cadillac margaritas are truly memorable, the experience is similar to exquisite dining. No table cloths no cloth napkins limited upscale decorations but a restaurant we always visit from Phoenix.“

“10/10 Best Birria and Al Pastor I could find in Town. Im originally from the IE im out here for work and they never let me down the food and the prices are great!! A must have in my weekly routine. I also recommend the Birria Pizza best bang for ur buck!!“

“This restaurant has been around for 60 years. I have been a regular guest for 5 years. The staff is very professional and friendly! If you want a pleasant experience, I will look for you there! The menu is full of great dishes and if you like Margaritas, the ladies will set you up nicely! Located in Old Indio, they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They have outdoor seating and any restaurant around this long means they are very good!!“

“We live full time in the area. This is our go to place for Mexican food. They are friendly, fast and the food is delicious. It is not a fancy place which is what we like about it. Delicious Chili Verde, Fajitas, burritos, etc.
Parking is in front or you may have to park down the street a bit. We'll worth it.“

“We were looking for a sweet treat, did a quick search, and ended up here—and we’re so glad we did. The menu is simple and focused entirely on raspados, and they truly specialize in them. The flavors were delicious, and the texture of the ice was perfect—every bite was packed with flavor.
The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which made the experience even better. If you’re in the area and craving something refreshing, this spot is definitely worth a visit.“

“Absolutely Devine! My boyfriend and I came to celebrate my birthday and I was not disappointed. Their Ceviche de Pescado, birria plate and torta ahogada was exceptional true to the Guadalajara style cuisine. Their drinks were perfect they didn’t skimp on the tequila and the Michi was flavorful. Definitely recommend this place! Definitely will return. The family who owns this restaurant definitely takes pride in every plate they serve. Thank you for the hospitality.“

“I have gone to the restaurant and to the stand and I recommend both places. They're friendly and attentive; the restaurant is clean and the staff is welcoming. I've tried their Al Pastor tacos, carne asada and suadero and its a really good flavor. In my opinion their Al Pastor is very authentic; it reminds me of my childhood in Mexico.“

“The food and service at Tortillas Restaurant is amazing!! I had the Chile Relleno with cheese (vegetarian options available, which was super nice!) and my husband had the Enchiladas de Mole with chicken - and both were delicious! The mole sauce is definitely of 5-star quality! It was all so fresh and authentic, with the foods being beautifully presented on the plates. I also highly recommend the horchata drinks there too!“

“This was my first time at Diego’s. I have tried many Mexican restaurants in the 8 years I have lived in Palm Desert and I truly must say the food was excellent, the service from Javier at the bar was welcoming and friendly and the environment was awesome so far as not crazy loud but a nice hum of other guests. I will be back for sure. ❤️“
