“Exceptional cuisine in the heart of Sonoma. The food is a fascinating blend of Californian and Northeast styles, reflecting the restaurant's location and the chef's roots. Execution of food and service is top-notch, with every detail carefully considered. The space is very inviting, albeit a little cramped given its location in a former house. Definitely a place to visit again and again.“

“Violetto was a lovely experience. The staff all around have hospitality mastered. The chef chooses to tell stories with his offerings and uses local ingredients (from as close by as the property garden). There is a sense of playfulness in the menu and plenty of spaciousness to interact with each course (plates are coming carefully timed for savoring). The host, manager, bartender, and waiter were all attentive, knowledgeable, approachable, and chose to appear unhurried (which is an art in any restaurant!). Memorable meal! We will return when we are back in the area.“

“This place is such a pleasant surprise! We came for dinner and tried several dishes… The biggest hit was the peach burrata ! Delicious! The mushroom pizza and the best salad was a perfect partner to the pizza. We also enjoyed the calamari and the best light fluffy cheesecake for desert!
Wine and champagne of course! What a fabulous experience! Try it!“

“Amazing experience. We felt very spoiled, we never had to wait for a course or the wine paired with it, our table was promptly cleared & cleaned between courses, even fresh silverware for each course. It was awesome. Food and dessert were absolutely delicious. Each dish brought out and explained. I was impressed that if there were 6 people at a table, then 6 servers brought out each person's food so that everyone got their food at the same time & everyone could eat while their food was hot. Both my husband's & my course choices were divine, every dish was delicious. We will be going back.“

“My compliments to the chef and kitchen team, every dish was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and clearly made fresh. The use of high-quality, mostly local ingredients truly made a difference. The service was excellent as well. The young woman who helped us, her name started with J—was very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, an outstanding dining experience. Definitely worth the 50-minute trip!“
