“Another of our favorites when visiting the North shore of Lake Tahoe. Cozy, Cabin-ey feel, right on the golf course in the woods. The meals have been delightful, the wait staff does a great job with probably too many tables/customers. The bartender is knowledgeable and experienced. Lots of good wine info. We'll be back!“

“OMG for visiting Kings Beach in Tahoe for the very first time my wife and I were mind blown by how amazing the food was, to the point my wife tells me that the rice taste just like her mom would make, and to take icing on cake I had the cheese enchiladas and she even said the red sauce brought her back to how her mother would make her sauce. The service was excellent, we will definitely come back to eat at this establishment again. We also highly recommend anyone who visits Tahoe to come to Kings Beach and dine here.“

“We love the shrimp or fish tacos and yummy shoestring fries! Well drinks are a nice size with a nice sample of beer on tap.“

“Although advertised on their website to be dog friendly, they are not. Saying there was an incident that caused them to no longer allow dogs on their outside patio. So we ordered to go and sat out in their picnic tables with a view of the lake. The server even brought the to go bags out to us“

“Tapas style restaurant, so we tried several items - Bacon Wrapped Medjool Dates (favorite at the table!); Arugula Salad (mint was a delicious touch!); Lobster Sliders (lots of lobster!); Grilled Wild Alaskan Halibut Tacos (just scrumptious!).

This was actually a referral restaurant for us, and we were so happy to enjoy dinner there! Great food and drinks (Old Fashion and the Chocolate Martini)!

“Phenomenal. Brussel sprouts, fries, and the biscuits to start. Chicken thighs main: toughest decision I’ve made in a while but it was the right one. Top 5 dish I’ve ever had in my entire life, zero exaggeration. The chicken melts like butter and is complemented perfectly with the crunchy/savory potatoes below. “La Bistro is our favorite restaurant in Tahoe. We have been going there for about 15 years or more and it has always been a 5 Star experience. The menu is fantastic and each item is presented in a culinary style that is formal but not pushy. Chef David has really made all items continue to be up to date and constantly improved. Bar and wine selections are top notch. The atmosphere is country cafe quiet where actual and meaningful conversations can be held. Outdoor seasonal seating is available which retains the ambience of the indoor seatings.“

“After a couple of days of eating pizzas and sandwiches, we were craving curry and rice, and Thai Recipe came to the rescue.
The food is delicious. We ordered yellow curry tofu, evil jungle recipe with chicken (house special), cashew nut chicken curry, and dessert, sweet rice and mango.
The food didn't disappoint at all. It was delicious. Serving size is decent.
It's a family-friendly restaurant with plenty of parking on site. The restaurant is brightly lit, and plenty of seating is available. The staff was very kind and friendly and made us feel welcomed.“

“We ordered two cauliflower crust pizzas and a salad for pick up. The cauliflower crust was not an option on the online menu so submitted the order verbally via phone. I figured the cauliflower crust would cost more but I almost fell over when picked up the pizza and told it was $71! Really not sure why I didn't just walk out and tell them to stick the pizza. At this crazy price, I expected an exceptional pizza however, it was anything but. First of all, it was NOT cauliflower pizza crust! Second, it was cold and the crust was hard, with very little sauce. Extremely disappointing.... pass on this overpriced garbage!“

“We were in Truckee for the day and wanted something different. This was the perfect place! Outdoor dining was amazing balls! Comfy setting, like your own outside patio. The food was exactly what we wanted! A watermelon non alcoholic spritz was so refreshing. Not sweet but more blended fruity mix. A hot tasty sandwich, perfectly crispy sweet potato fries and that day.. a velvety French onion soup. It was a different type of bread, bunch of spices and big slice of the cheese! So much cooked onions and a broth that tasted like it was cooked for hours, to get a deep rich beef taste. Staff was so friendly and nice. Will be going back to try their pizzas and salads!“

“The Sawyer is a lively and fun place to dine. Service is excellent. We had the beef stroganoff, portobello mushroom on brioche bun, cheesy loaf were all made to perfection. Yum! Special shout out to the cheesy loaf— we would go back just for that. It is that good! While the room was full of energy, the entire experience was relaxing and we got to enjoy our meal and have nice conversation. Our server did a great job! And we were never rushed. We had a wonderful night. We will be back!“

Local little restaurant - food portions are great ( too big for a European) - waitress was so kind and helpful - service could be a bit faster but we ordered 9 mains so needed time to prepare. The house special ? was great, pizza is not Italian style dough but was good enough to eat. Beer is average nothing special.. The salad was good and the small version is more than enough.“

“Mozzarella sticks and barbecue/medium wings were perfect and cheap compared to most restaurants and the entrees were great too. We had the $14.49 gyros, $22.99 fish and chips, and the $13.99 wagyu sliders (which tasted a tiny bit overcooked) but besides that all tasted great! Nice empty dog friendly outside patio by the creek with many picnic tables and a big table for 12. Service was very fast.“

“This is a good place to stop and have lunch during your Northstar ski experience. However, I can't give it five stars because the prices are at least double the normal cost. That applies to everything sold here. Options for vegan or vegetarian guests are very limited. All that aside, it's a nice ski lodge, and the food is fine if you like burgers, fries, pizza, chicken tenders, etc. Lines are usually short, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is clean and tidy.“

“We stopped to eat here before the fireworks at Commons beach on 4th of July and it was great. Awesome local vibe with good drink selection and classic American dishes. They had large TV’s with baseball on, so my son was happy. Parking was easy and the staff was friendly and kind!“

This establishment is located within the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, so it makes for a very convenient spot to pick up food if you're staying at the hotel. The restaurant is due a refresh, but I will say that our carmel fudge sundae tonight was out of this world!“
