The workers are mad chill and super friendly, always make you feel welcome. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, they got you. Definitely one of my favorite go-to boba spots. “We stopped by Hai Cha for boba tea after visiting the museum. The owner greeted us right away as we walked through the door. He's super friendly and he was very welcoming. We got Hai Cha special milk tea with boba. Waffle was boba. Yogurt smoothie and mango smoothie. The size of the smoothies were huge. We enjoyed our food.“

“A decent boba spot in Pasadena. I always wished they had more toppings. But all their drinks are good and consistent. They have a really small parking lot with Afters IceCream. But there’s plenty of street parking all around. I usually get their fresh jaded green mountain tea with black and white boba. I like almost all their drinks and the aesthetic vibes of the cafe. But I wish there was a restroom and more space area to sit and enjoy the tea there.“

“Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.“

“Chapresso is a tiny boba tea shop in San Marino. They have breadth selection of fruit teas and milk tea boba. And it is the only tea shop in this upper middle class city. I came to grab a hot Jasmine Pekoe Green tea which is a high-quality tea leaves , often younger leaves with fine hair (pekoe). Its flavor was smooth, mellow, slightly sweet, with fresh fruity undertones.

Prices were fair. Staff and service were cordial and on spot, respectively. Indoor and outdoor seats were very limited.

Overall, I liked my tea at Chapresso. I highly recommend them.“

“Would come here before for their Caramel Frapp, which let me tell you is amazing! I noticed that they had a new menu...SUSHI...so I decided to try a Poke bowl. Let me just say it was the best decision of my life. It was EXQUISITE! Everything looks and taste super fresh. “This is really good! Despite the name, I think some of their best drinks are actually the taro ones. The drinks have fresh taro paste with taro balls. I especially recommend the taro mochi drink. Really delicious. The mochi is soft, not too sweet, and has a milky taste. They have a tablet to order at. The parking lot is a chaotic mess but you can easily find street parking nearby.“

Favorite- passion fruit green tea with tea jelly and most of their fruit teas cost under 5$.
You can add a few toppings for free which includes- tea jelly, coffee jelly, boba pearls and pudding. Very popular so be prepared to wait in a line to place an order but the service otherwise quick.“

“Not sure if that was a tea place for me. Firstly, it was really sweet. Even though you can choose your own preference of sweetness ( I chose 50%) my tea tasted overly sweet. I got the fruit tea. A different and distinct flavor from other fruit teas I’ve had. Both drinks tasted heavy on sweetness despite the level being 50% and other 25% . However, I would give this place another try since the flavors were distinct and the place was neat and clean.

It is a self serve and not to hang out tea place. So just order and go.“

“Recommended to us by a local restaurant owner, we took a drive over to try them out. They have an amazing fresh fruit selection (including persimmon, which I hadn’t seen before) like strawberry and watermelon (which is one of my favorites).

We like them so much we’ve made the 20 minute drive several times already during our short stay. The drinks seem to run a little sweet so I make the less sugar option. They seem to automatically add a jelly to the drink (at least the several we’ve ordered).

Our first time here. A lot of foot traffic coming and going. Everything tasted wonderful, the right amount of tea flavor and sweetness in every drink. So many different drinks to choose from, will definitely come back to try more.“

“Delicious boba drinks. I’ve visited this location several times and the employees are always efficient, but the prices have been rising similar to other tea places in LA. Two options to order: at two self-service kiosks or with a worker at the register. I recommend the Oreo brûlée boba milk which was $6.95. They also have several kids menu options which are great for a smaller 16 oz drink instead of the normal 22 oz. They’re located at the entrance of a food court in a shared plaza with a super market and other stores, so there’s enough shared lot parking.“

I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. “This place got some new drinks. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their new choco strawberry frosty and strawberry Hokkaido milk tea to try. The frosty had an icy, rich, deeply chocolatey base with a creamy, tangy, cheesey strawberry foam. Legit a desert drink. My fave was definitely the strawberry Hokkaido milk tea tho. Very floral, milky, and sweet, with plenty of jiggly strawberry jellies. Overall these were lowkey pretty good.

“Boba options are plentiful and there are several food options as well. I live their tomato and pesto sandwich, but you'll have to be aware that it takes time for the food to be made. Every time I order food, it takes about 20 minutes to almost an hour sometimes to get the food.
If you're able to call in advance for pickup, I'm not sure if it will be any faster. I typically order the teas without boba since it's already quite sweet (and delicious). Would recommend if you want to study or do your work here. It's a lot quieter than Starbucks, unless people are talking.“

“The QQ Happy Family is worth the hassle of parking and walking a long distance.

Parking: It took us almost 20 minutes to find parking, but it was a 2-minute walk from there. Definitely try to park in Parking B. Sharetea is next to the entrance/exit on the lower level of the Galleria extension over Central, along Broadway.

Wheelchair accessibility: Park in Parking B on lower level, if you can. Otherwise, you will need to go far and/or take an elevator. I have no idea where the elevator is.“

“There's no denying that boba flows through my veins and a place like Sunright only adds to the obsession. This location is tiny - very little parking is available on the streets and this being situated next to a high school means they get BUSY after school gets out. You have enough space to order either at the counter or on the kiosk, with the latter being preferred. On my recent visit, they ran out of boba on a Friday afternoon and I was gutted. I still went with another topping with my Oolong Milk Tea with Soy Milk, which was a solid substitute but not quite the same without my black pearls. Tea quality was fantastic and I enjoyed my drink. However, my friend ordered their Grapefruit Tea with Boba and omg... one of the best fruit teas that I've ever had from a boba shop. I immediately regretted relying on my milk tea to quench my thirst and should have gone the fruity route. I'm taking note for the next time I am in the area.“
