The staff was wonderful and friendly, accommodating, a kid friendly spot, *bathrooms are kept tidy* felt good to get yummy food in a cool 50’s style diner.“

“Came here to try their burgers, got the Wedding Ring burger. The burger was great, the onion ring in the burger is crispy, but they don’t offer onion rings as side.
The service was good, the place looks clean and neat but smells to much chemicals, I even tasted in my mouth.“

“This hamburger place in Sausalito is amazing! You can watch them make the burgers through the window and they are delicious. There’s not a lot of seating inside, so you’ll probably have to take it to go. They do have seating, but seems like it can only accommodate 4 people at 2 per table. The staff is good, although not overly friendly, but I can see how they’re heads down with the food and orders. The place is really small, but the experience is great.

“Always so conflicted when I like something this much and it's in the Marina. This place was terrific and the true measure of its value was in the taste of my burger. After much deliberation, I went with the Heritage Bison burger with applewood smoked bacon, fontina cheese, and caramelized onions. It was superb. The bison always has such amazing flavor, rich but not greasy or fatty, just mouth-watering goodness with each bite.

Just go and have it. Now. It's really, really good.

“Feels like a classic drive thru fast food experience. Just order anything and ask for it to be vegan and they’ll do it - which is how I wish all restaurants everywhere operated😄 A bit pricey but also it’s not more expensive than the average fast food restaurant nowadays. Highly recommend visiting, and ironically probably the most vegan-friendly spot in all of Marin is this Amy’s. (A fast food establishment) Updated from previous review on 2025-07-11“

“I don't know if crispy is what a cheesesteak traditionally is, but it's what it should aspire to be. This place was an accidental choice based on where we were, and it was excellent.

Dietary restrictions: I have kind of an unusual sensitivity, and the fellow behind the counter was willing and able to answer my questions so I could be confident ordering.

I make no effort to keep halal, but it is offered here.

Parking: The nearby BART station is a much better choice.“

“I think I had my very first cheeseburger ever at this location in 1975! I just went there again two weeks ago and the food is just as good as I remember my first cheeseburger bee. They have a really good selection of meats and proteins not to mention the shakes and fries!!!

“Stopped by for lunch one afternoon. Waited around 8-10 minutes for my food.

The BBQ burger was greasy and juicy. The meat was ok tasting. It needs more seasoning. The only issue is that they used shredded iceberg lettuce. I do not care for that. At least put a regular leaf of iceberg lettuce on it. Shredded lettuce is so corporate fast food.

The onion rings were very good and look the way they are supposed to be made. They also came with ranch dressing which I liked.

The drink was a normal fountain soda. They do have a nice bathroom though. Overall, it is a decent place to get a hamburger.“

Trifecta.We plugged into a ecar charger in front of the restaurant for Rockstar parking. We arrived hungry & left happy. We ordered a Cheeseburger combo with sweet potato fries. The place just had a huge crowd walk in before me, of at least 20 people. “The habit is pretty solid overall, the burgers are a significant step up from a McDonald's/Burger King, but so is the price. Chicken sandwiches are super solid, and if your going for a burger I'd give the edge to five guys in the same price segment.“

“There’s something different about The Melt in San Francisco. I went with my family and ordered the Swiss & Shroom Double—and it was so good! But beyond the food, what really stood out was the atmosphere. It felt like being in a familiar, welcoming place.

What made it even more special was when Skinner came over to our table. We chatted about the restaurant, about San Francisco… and he even offered us some chocolate chip cookies!

We’ll definitely be coming back. It’s great to know there’s a beautiful, peaceful, and family-friendly spot like this in San Francisco.“

“Have only had good experiences here. Tried various items from the menu. The seasonal cauliflower with romesco is a large portion and very flavorful. Any burger we've had is put together well, from bun to patty to toppings. I also tried the vegan bacon cheeseburger, which is not QUITE a bacon cheeseburger, but it definitely checks all the boxes. It's REALLY good! The staff has also been extremely friendly. And aside from opening weekend, there has not been a wait at all. The prices seem comparable to other burgers of the same type in the area ,eg, Gott's. I would encourage trying out Roam.“

“I went to enjoy some salad at this MIXT restaurant on Grand Opening day. They were handing out samples of their crispy cauliflower appetizer with an aioli dressing. Yum.
There’s a big menu of salads and sandwiches to choose from.
I ordered the warm curry chicken salad bowl. It was delicious! Freshly prepared by an enthusiastic staff member.
I ate the salad in the restaurant at midday on a Monday when it was not busy.
There is a patio on the Green Street side and a few tables in the front of the place
The opening day was made even better when the cashier mentioned a special code for the day. I got 50% off my bowl. I also got a small bouquet of dried flowers. What a great way to welcome guests!
The space reminds me of Le Boulange bakery when it used to be in this location. On the weekend, it maybe crowded, so go early or get takeaway and go to the Presidio to enjoy the outdoors and a healthy meal!“

“Great waiter, friendly staff , food was exceptional, warm popovers brought to the table with herbed butter , I had pan fried crispy seasoned skin-on steelhead Salmon with fennel & leeks and Romesco sauce on mashed potatoes , it seems as though mashed potatoes are the thing with fish now a days, while I prefer veggies or rice of some sort , atmosphere is very cosy, nice but casual, like wearing a jacket with a withe shirt and jeans with flip flops, waiter brought me a fuzzy blanket, because it feels like winter here, it was slightly overcast, sun broke through about 3pm, walked around town, shopped at the local food market, it’s a thing for me to check out local grocery stores, finished with a cafe latte at Equator coffee, hit the spot!
