The restaurant has had its share of ups and downs but I am happy with how strongly Okane Umi has powered up its menu and added some wonderfully flavorful genuine Japanese dishes. “Fabulous sushi with just enough flair to let you know that Chef Daniel-son has above average skills in areas other than sushi - he does a Saba sandwich on homemade milk bread, plus a shrimp stone pot fried rice in addition to sushi (at least as of this visit). Two seatings, the later one is more relaxed if you don't mind eating late. And the sake selection is excellent.“

“We love Sushi Time! It’s one of the best local sushi spots in Torrance. My wife and I will call in for pick up and it’s always so quick. We get the eel avocado roll all the time, easily the best sushi they have. We’ve tried the shrimp tempura too but the eel sauce is good. The wasabi is spicy but could definitely be spicier! All in all, highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for delicious sushi at a good price. Owners are really kind as well and sometimes give special service!!“

From nigiri to udon (curry udon has stellar flavor for vegetarian or non-fish-lover friends), I haven't found a single thing to complain about. My favorite is the salmon skin salad, only $8 still during these difficult times and post COVID prices. Offer multiple combination plates, sashimi, and authentic rolls.

“Since I'm a very picky Japanese food eater, I tend to avoid anything that might be Japanese where it's not 100% Japanese. That said, I do enjoy the Thai food here. It's decent and filling. The staff are polite and I like it because it's in walking distance for me.

I have tried some Japanese-ish food like the lobster rolls or teriyaki chicken. Those dishes weren't bad if you consider them more California Asian cuisine. The prices are what you might expect these days for a spot like this. They do have lunch time specials so I think those are worth making the trip if you're in the area and want some decent Thai etc or something different.“

I also really loved the extra Hello Panda cookies they threw in which just happened to be my favorite. I will definitely be back for more! They might just be my new favorite sushi spot.“

“An amazing "conveyor" belt sushi restaurant with high quality fish and great vibes. I use quotes because the belt is only used to deliver the food to your table as opposed to the rotating dishes. It's located inside of Tokyo central and there's gunna be a long wait for dinner but honestly.... it's such a great market to wander that you'll find the long wait to be fun.

Almost everything we ordered was delicious, mouth watering, and satisfying quality fish. The salmon quality is so butter smooth and I actually recommend the salmon party if that's your favorite type of fish.

Most items are decently priced and you can totally get full off of 30 bucks if you order the lower tier stuff. Service was quick and friendly.

Tip: You don't need to order on the tablet lol it'll get your arm tired from swiping the fixed screen. Just scan the QR code and order through your phone.

On March 8, my older sister, Jennifer, and I went to Tak E Sushi and Rolls restaurant to eat sushi for lunch and I did not expect sushi to be this delicious and nutritious☺️. I guess I was wrong for not trying sushi for the first time😅 (forgive my rudeness). There exists countless options for Jenny and I, and customers to eat on their menu, but I think my older sister doesn’t want to eat a lot. Plus, there were plenty of drinks to choose from, but one thing I found out that there exists anime style drinks with likable anime characters from One Piece, Naruto/Naruto Shippuden, and Sailor Moon, though I wish they also added other iconic anime characters from other popular anime IPs that every anime fan loves, you know, the ones from Dragon Ball, Bleach, My Hero Academia, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Haikyuu!!, etc.; not to mention Hololive, the world’s virtual YouTuber agency, Vocaloid, Love Live!, maybe Pokemon, cute anime girls, and more should have their own drinks, even Star Wars (influenced by Akira Kurosawa’s films and Japanese culture which George Lucas said that Akira Kurosawa is his idol) deserve their own drinks in sushi stores, but a man can dream, yes? Anyway, we ordered the sushi while I had ramen, and I just couldn’t get enough of eating them as I smiled. It was great and I wish I could’ve tried it sooner rather than later. One thing that I forgot to see is that there’s also a bar you can sit on, but I’ll try that next time. In conclusion, the Tak E Sushi and Rolls restaurant is recommended for everyone. Not bad Japanese food and I want to come back again sometime. Though, I want to see the restaurant filled with people, though. “My family and I stayed at the Crystal casino hotel from my oldest sister's 32nd anniversary. The front desk receptionist Victoria was so lovely she helped my family with whatever we needed help with. She was very pleasant, patient, nice and displayed great customer service skills. We were there for 3 days and each day the continental breakfast was GREAT and had something different to eat each day plus waffles which were DELICIOUS. I would recommend the Crystal casino and hotel because great customer service, cleanliness, and a wonderful continental breakfast.“

As soon as you walk in, you are met with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere befitting such a nice restaurant. The menu is full of variety, with classic staples like gyoza and tuna rolls while also featuring special dishes, with my personal favorite being the spider rolls, which are absolutely delicious. Service is quite fast and the owner is extremely welcoming to customers. It is clear that the owner really puts their heart into the food and makes it impossible not to enjoy the meals prepared for you.
