“Gluten free fried chicken 🤤 Wow this place blew me away! I’ve been wanting to try it ever since I went to gluten free, and I’m sad I waited so long. My husband was hesitant because he didn’t love the karaage he tried in Japan, and is an American fried chicken purist, but we went on a whim and now we’ve a new spot to Sawtelle restaurant rotation. He said Tenkatori changed his opinion on karaage, which is crazy because you’d think the gluten free aspect would make it worse— it’s doesn’t. Service was awesome to top it all off!“

“Excellent service by Freddie as soon as we walked in- menu is extensive and creative and HALAL. Chili isn’t halal but clearly and respectfully stated- no fear of contamination as it’s stored securely and separated.
Chicken and waffles was amazing- dogs were pretty good- turkey bacon was weak I’d recommend deen brand halal beef bacon as it’s MUCH better especially for hot dogs. Overall would return.“

“The food was very good. It was crispy and tasty. I really liked the food.

But I had a problem with parking. The validation machine in the store was not working. I asked the staff, and they told me I was “good to go.” But when I left the parking lot, I still had to pay $17.

This was frustrating because I checked before leaving. I hope they fix this problem soon.

He ordered the jerk chicken and it came with double mac & cheese, rice and peas,plantains and a drink (Kool-Aid) all this was $30.00 definitely a steal. The jerk chicken had the perfect blend of seasoning with the perfect amount of heat a little more sauce was needed the sauce is soooo good definitely needed more, mac & cheese a tad bit dry flavor was good, rice and peas are good, the plantains were perfect not overly sweet, Kool-aid had the perfect amount of sugar and tartness overall 100/10. Definitely coming back when in the area.“

“They fry to order so the chicken is crisp, juicy and piping hot. I got the fried wings and hot wings. Both were absolutely delicious and they made sure I get the combo because it meant bigger discounts. Small space to eat outside but you’ll be facing the parking lot and dumpster.“

“I get it. People have their pizza preferences and styles and New York style is mine. Really takes me back to when almost every spot in NY tasted like this pizza. Not the world’s best, but a great slice with great sauce, toppings and the perfect thin crispy crust. This was only my second time trying Prime, but was the second in two days! My first visit in Brea was good and I knew I would love their pizza, but the slices were a little dry from sitting there (was 3:30 pm in a Thursday). This time I ordered the whole pie so I can try it fresh and that was the difference. My GF confirmed it. Now there are two pizzas in LA I love, but the one that I think is a little better and starts with a “A” is in west LA and not easy to get to. Love that Prime has multiple locations and hope to try them all. Service at this location was also great and fun to interact with. Lots of characters at this location, which I love too.

Square pie is best I’ve had in LA, but round pizza is the one. Slices are good in a pinch, but whole pies make the difference.

Parking is the only con here. I got lucky with street parking on a Sat afternoon after circling around the block once, but can imagine it could be worse. There are parking lots, but who wants to pay $10 minimum to pick up a pizza.“

I really enjoyed how flavorful the meat was in each bowl, and how hot and fresh everything was when it came out. The service was super fast and friendly as well. The food was fresh, tasted great and plentiful. And I couldn't finish my meal because it was so much food. I highly recommend this place. The service was good also. I finally found my new go-to fried fish spot. Maybe I'll trying the orange roughy or lobster fried the next time. And don't forget the tartar sauce. “Been coming here for over a year and it never misses. I always get the Memphis Gold wings with jerk seasoning, bone-in, and they’re consistently crispy, juicy, and full of flavor.
