“It was my friend's first time in and we were told that the bar/drinks weren't going to be served. It doesn't say that anywhere on the website or menu, so that really changed how our experience went. Then, our server was fine, but the only one there for all the customers. This is my favorite Badmaash location so I felt disapointed that it wasn't perfect for my friend.“

“Govinda, the owner of this food truck, is a true hero. He runs this truck as a personal mission to do his part in battling food insecurity. His plates are priced at $5 (but really, this is a suggested donation and he never turns you away if you're in need).

Everything in the truck is vegan, partly due to his religious beliefs (Hare Krishna) and partly to accommodate every srudents' dietary preferences.

Each plate is packed with flavor, nutrition, and love. He runs a set menu for each day of the week. It always comes with a glass of lemonade and chips. Don't worry about the portion sizes. You're sure to leave satisfied.

But most importantly, the owner is a genuinely good person. He always stands outside his food truck, personally greeting customers and taking their orders. He takes great pride in his work and is always ecstatic to share updates about how his business is doing and how much he is helping his community. I've spoken to him many times and he understands the food insecurity crisis that students face, hence the pricing and proximity to UCLA. In order to break even, he must sell 70 plates daily, so please frequent this place as much as you can.“

“I’m really pleased and delightfully surprised! As someone who loves Indian cuisine, I was scared to order because of some of the one star reviews, but the food was GREAT! I got the medium chicken tikka masala which wasn’t too spicy so i’d move up spice levels if you like spice. The portions are generous and the chicken was tender, sauce was flavorful. The vegetable samosas were large and perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It comes with complimentary mint chutney and tamarind sauce too, which were so good. There is a BOGO deal on doordash which gives you so much bang for your buck. I highly recommend this place since it’s open late, and i’ll definitely be back!

“Great Restaurant! I tried the Green Coconut Vegetable Curry and the Onion Bhanu and they were amazing. I would taste the coconut flavor in the curry and the bhaji was very fresh which made it a great appetizer. To add on, they serve Vegan Mango Lassi which was amazing and fresh! Everything is 100% Vegan, no problem! The business is week maintained and cares about the customers! The menu is very unique and look forward to trying something new! Definitely recommended!“
