“This was seriously the best customer service experience ever! The food was incredible I got the chicken tikka masala with rosemary naan which I’ve never had rosemary naan and it’s a new staple. The staff was so kind they gave me the crispy yogurt puffs to start which were so unique and little “flavour bombs” they threw in an order of rice and brought me a chai and rice pudding for dessert as well INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE will 10000000% be back“

“Simply phenomenal. It takes incredible food, made by kind folks, who love what they do, to lift a stranger's spirit like my own. I had ordered four tacos: Masala Birria, Tinga Masala Chicken (by recommendation), Pibil Chicken, and the potato (Mexican potato substitution), along with a side of Mom's Beans and seasoned Cauliflower. I was nodding my head blissfully as I ate everything. The smell of spices and fresh cilantro, the taste of meaty beans and succulent poultry, and pickled onions were wildly satisfying. I was blown away and can't wait to return. You're missing out if you haven't eaten here, yet. Until next time, peace.“

“I always have a wonderful time at Baar Baar. The food is delicious, the cocktails are perfect, and the service is always attentive. This particular night was their Diwali celebration and we had a great time, but I'd recommend them any day of the week.“

“Wow! This is such an amazing and unique concept! I love the frankies selection from the menu. I tried Chicken Tikka Masala Frankie and Crispy Frisch Frankie and I’m satisfied! The frankies are made from naan which was freshly baked and the fish and chicken were nicely cooked and overall it was amazing! Reasonable pricing for the size of the food. Amazing service from the business and highly recommended to try if your looking for something new!“

“This is the second time I have ordered from this restaurant, and the Vizayawada biryani is absolutely delicious. You won't find another place in Los Angeles that serves biryani with such an authentic and flavorful taste. My suggestion would be to make the biryani spicier and add a bit more sauce for an even richer flavor.“

“Our server, Manash(sp) was fabulous. She treated us as family and even comped a dessert for us. The food was spectacular. Many Indians in the restaurant; enjoying traditional communal meals. The spinach dish, saag paneer, and butter chicken were wonderful, as was the garlic nan. Highly recommend this family-run hidden gem.“

“Eat there, now. You will not regret it. We shared the sampler platter and that was the biggest samosa ever. We also shared the chicken quesadilla which happened to be my favorite for the day. Also had chicken & lamb tacos, gulab jamun, and some rice pudding to go. Everything is flavorful, and the service could not be better! We can't wait to try their Agra Tandoori location in Tarzana!!“

“I finally made it to Pijja Palace in Silver Lake, and let me just say — it’s worth the hype. I went in expecting good food, but the rigatoni completely blew me away. Rich, flavorful, with just the right amount of sass, it was one of those dishes that sticks with you long after you leave. Honestly, it made me want to go back the very next day just to order it again.
The masala wings deserve their own spotlight. Perfectly crispy, packed with flavor, and the kind of dish that disappears from the table before you realize you’ve eaten half of them. They’re the type of wings you order “to share,” but end up not wanting to.
What I love about Pijja Palace is that it feels like more than just a restaurant. It’s a place that captures the creative, cultural energy of Silver Lake where every detail feels thoughtful, and the food matches the buzz around it. Spots like this remind me why people love living in neighborhoods like Silver Lake. It’s not just about a house on a street, it’s about being surrounded by places that make you want to stay.“

“This is real authentic food from India Delhi. The food is so delicious! This is the most delicious Indian food I've had in LA. The people who are running the place are real Indian people from Delhi. The amount is very generous and the price is very affordable. It's my new favorite spot. I highly recommend!!!“

“Was looking for a good Indian place in Los Angeles and came across Flavor of India. It had great reviews so we gave it a try. It is located in Hollywood right off of Sunset and Hayworth. Plenty of inside parking available with 2hour validation. We tried the lunch all you can eat for 24$ a person and were not disappointed. It was like a flavor sampler of many curries with rice, garlic naan and even a dosa. The flavors were great, amazing value, and we were more than satisfied. Highly recommend!“

“Very good. I got the okra dish. I loved the flavors and the portion. I got 2 meals out of it from the leftovers.
I also got the gobi manchurian, I am a wimp with spice so next time instead of medium I would go with mild. Otherwise very good. Reheats in the air fryer nicely“

“I love Indian and have had tons in my life. This is hands down the best place. Their flavor profile is sophisticated and layered, the food here is top quality and it's my favorite Indian restaurant ever. After having their tikka masala I can't be satisfied with any other. Their saag and curries are also excellent. The chicken they use is whatever so I always go for fish. The flavor here is truly magnificent, I come here whenever I'm in the area. Definitely a must go for everyone.“

“Delicious! I like just the right spice and just the right seasoning. I’ve tried other places nearby and usually it can be kind of greasy after taste. This food is filling for the right price and cooked just right without feeling oily afterwards.“

“Gill's is so underrated. We love this place so much!! They have a lunch buffet that i've yet to try, but we've ordered dinner before. The chicken tikka masala is so delicious along with the chicken tikka and garlic naan!! We order so much food, and it's always so much cheaper than if we went anywhere else (I have gone elsewhere - those places are expensive and not as tasty)“

“This place definitely deserves a 5 star rating. I didn’t expect the food to be so good and it was so reasonable. They had a variety of veg and non vegetarian items. The food is well prepared and tastes like home cooked. The quantity they serve is a lot. It’s a small cozy eatery with a grocery store that carries most bengali food items. The variety of fish is amazing. A must visit for folks looking for authentic Bengali cuisine.“

“I live in Virginia and tried to place an order with a restaurant with a similar name. Somehow wires got crossed and the order was placed with this restaurant. When the food wasn’t picked up the restaurant went out of the way to track me down and reimburse the charge. This is a restaurant worth your businesses. Good people are sometimes hard to find and should be recognized!“

“A very enjoyable meal. Had a starter and a mains. Both excellent and felt full at the end. I sat outside and people watched. The service was excellent, very attentive. The price on a par with other restaurants on the front. Will be going again before going home“
“We were a group of 2, ordered lamb and chicken biryani. Both were very delicious (a bit too spicy though we requested mild). Rice needed to be a bit drier than what was served, were told that it is how it's made in Northern India, it was so good, but wanted it to be drier :)“
“Indian spot located on the 2nd level off of Wilshire. When I typed the name in, Google maps took me to the one on Westwood, so make sure you’re putting in the right address if you’re intending to go here. Very limited street parking. Credit cards accepted. They do take reservations but when we went on a Thursday evening at 8pm, it wasn’t necessary. Masks required and they do check proof of vaccination, although they wanted a picture of the card and didn’t accept my digital CA QR code. Food is family style; the tandoori mix grill was a good way to get a variety of meats/seafood. The butter chicken was tasty. The peas pulao was a good complement to that sauce, though I preferred the garlic naan. They do serve alcohol. It’s good for big groups and they had a TV playing music videos inside. They were open fairly late on a weeknight, so it’s a good spot to get some food if you’re in the Brentwood area and get hungry, but don’t have a reservation anywhere.“
