Kimchi and kkakdugi are the basics of a soup restaurant, and the basics are solid.
10 pieces of meat in soup? More than half of the soup and rice bowls were covered + Speaking of service, I guess the owner couldn't stand the water cups and side dish bowls being empty so he kept refilling them.
(However, note that there is no onion, pepper, garlic, and ssamjang sauce)
The prices are the same as other Korean restaurants in the US.

The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. “This is authentic Japanese! I had their Curry udon and it was amazing. It was served super hot(not spicy) just the way I like my noodles. Came with a small salad and those rice things(yummy). 20 bucks for the meal, Not bad at all.

Not their fault but people kept walking in and leaving the door wide open and creating a cold draft. I would recommend attaching a spring or someway to automatically shut the door.

**Update, I went back. This time I got the chicken katsu curry and I was not disappointed. It was a lot of food and came with sashimi, cold ramen, and even 2 slices of roll. I think this is turning into my go to spot.“

“Had lunch with my girlfriend and the food was excellent! The spring rolls were perfectly good! I’ve had pho before and never really liked it, so I ordered the rice and pork chop plate for myself however, I tried her ( my girlfriend) Pho and let me tell you! I’m definitely gonna be coming and having Pho the next time! Highly recommend!

Their specialty is Soon Tofu, and it's honestly the best value on the menu. A bubbling hot stone bowl filled with flavorful broth, silky tofu, and your choice of protein (I'm a beef guy, through and through)? It's pure comfort food.

But the real star of the show, in my opinion, is the banchan. Those unlimited vegetable side dishes? They're a feast in themselves! Fresh, flavorful, and constantly refilled. “My fav Thai place and yes it’s truly vegan! Their food is prepared when you order so it is very fresh. The flavors are perfect and you can always ask for extra spicy if that’s your thing. The dumplings are delectable especially the pan fried ones. My go to fav dishes are the curry (which in my opinion can cure what ails you. Have a cold or the flu or feeling under the weather, order curry, you will feel better quick. My fav is the red curry) … pad Thai is delicious and can be made without peanuts, the pineapple rice is also a lovely dish. I have tried most of the menu and never had anything I didn’t like. The presentation is also beautiful. The people who work here are kind and have a calm energy that makes you feel welcome and at home. This is literally one of my fav places to grab a quick healthy wholesome meal. This place just makes you feel good. One of my happy places. Oh don’t forget the delicious Thai tea !

“The food and vibe here are definitely old-skool healthy and delicious japanese food. it's not like all the other ramen restaurants popping up where the ingredients and broth are much heavier whereas at Asa, the masterful simplicity of the broth complimenting the toppings is something to be appreciated. The place is old, and smells a bit like cigarettes but I got used to it pretty quickly (I am very smell sensitive so I almost left but the man who I am guessing is the owner, came over and gave us little chips with our beer and he smiled and giggled a little. My only complaint would be that it was too warm inside and I was sweating throughout the whole meal.“

I hear on the radio 95.5 people debating about the best tacos and this has to be the best in LA I got the Carne Asada plate and the Chicharrons and the in store freshly made tortillas I just felt right at home. Parking: Parking was great plenty of it around the building now I’m sure it depends on the day and the time also no lingering around get what you need and eat what you eat and head on out make way for your fellow customers and staff.
