“全世界最好喝的牛骨湯!拜託一定要嘗試,大火久燉絕不馬虎!太喜歡了!
The best soup ever! And the rice is really good as we’ll even take-out. My friend said their kimchi is authentic and surprisingly delicious(I don’t eat kimchi so.)The staffs there are welcoming. There are only sells the beef bone soup, after you tried you’ll know why. Because they just want to make a product the best, but they do it! Even though i don’t have soup often, this time i finished it all. It’s really worth visiting again!“

“We had a good dinner here. We ordered miso soup, seaweed salad, salmon sushi, mixed tempura, spicy tuna roll and a rainbow roll. Everything was very good. The seafood was fresh and had great flavor. We really have no complaints regarding the food. Our server was lovely and they were very attentive. The downside - it's definitely on the expensive side and the atmosphere is okay.“

“So delicious and fresh. I could eat here everyday! Ordered with Uber eats when visiting for a conference. Soupchu became my go to meal for my trip and felt healthy and satisfied hitting all the foodie spots. Chicken soup and stuffed eggplant was the best I’ve had in a long time!“

“The stars aligned. We were overjoyed to find a BOB vegan restaurant, inspired by grandcestor Dr. Sebi's alkaline nutritional guide. Highly recommend Beyond Vegan - Culver City. The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. Purple wild rice was a delightful surprise. Diversity in texture, flavor, colors, and quality ingredients. No better way to catch up with a friend than eating outdoors at Beyond Vegan!“

“Don't come to JunTong expecting something fancy. Instead, it is a casual restaurant which serves up comfort food like pork rib noodle soup (galbitang). The flavor of the soup is very balanced and tasty. I also liked the kimchi and the radish appetizers; they were high quality.
Location is hard to find parking, but anyone can take the bus!“

“This is authentic Japanese! I had their Curry udon and it was amazing. It was served super hot(not spicy) just the way I like my noodles. Came with a small salad and those rice things(yummy). 20 bucks for the meal, Not bad at all.
Not their fault but people kept walking in and leaving the door wide open and creating a cold draft. I would recommend attaching a spring or someway to automatically shut the door.
**Update, I went back. This time I got the chicken katsu curry and I was not disappointed. It was a lot of food and came with sashimi, cold ramen, and even 2 slices of roll. I think this is turning into my go to spot.“

“Had lunch with my girlfriend and the food was excellent! The spring rolls were perfectly good! I’ve had pho before and never really liked it, so I ordered the rice and pork chop plate for myself however, I tried her ( my girlfriend) Pho and let me tell you! I’m definitely gonna be coming and having Pho the next time! Highly recommend!
P.S o don’t usually write reviews but I had to! This place is 10 outta 10“

“This place is known for their galbi jjeem and I should have tried it. But (a) the portions are huuuge, as in for more than 1 person, maybe up to 4 people, and (b) at $100 it is expensive. I should return with a large group so we can order and share it. There is an option for cheese which the waiter will use a torch at the table to melt and toast it. I've never had galbi jjeem with cheese. Maybe it tastes like a cheeseburger? I'd be willing to try is there was an option to have it on the side, vs fully committing by covering everything with it.
So for this visit I had the sollung tang with tendon. It hit the spot, very creamy and flavorful, and the tendon was soft & tender. I would definitely return for this alone.“

“Smallish servings (comparing normal sizes in US), but delicious.
Very Spicy was on point and is ? (from a seasoned Thai curry eater).
Didn't include cutlery on our order which made it difficult.
They did add a free White Rice with the order.“

“The restaurant that showed us that samgyetang can be rich.
Various medicinal ingredients seem to contribute to the rich Korean soup. If you eat oriental medicine samgyetang when you have a cold, it seems to be good for replenishing your energy. Wouldn't the king of old have samgyetang like this when he caught a cold?
Anyway, if you have a cold, make sure to catch it~“

“An unassuming storefront but their meats and banchan were top-notch. We had the prime sirloin steak. It was substantial, super tender, and very tasty. Also tried their famous marinated pork ribs, which were perfectly seasoned, with a balanced sweetness to bring out the flavour of the meat… don’t forget to dip it in the sesame oil and sea salt!
The service was excellent. Our server was very kind, efficient and made sure we had all that we needed while she helped us grill our meats with a practiced hand. The banchan was fresh, with crunchy seasoned vegetables that held their flavour and vibrancy. My personal favourites were the pickled white onions and marinated beansprouts. Authentic and on-point.
On top of that, we came on New Year’s Eve and they were accommodating, patient and made it an occasion to remember with the best KBBQ we’ve had, ever. Quality we appreciated.
Parking is valet at $4 as of NYE 2024.

“It's been a while since I posted it and ate it. It turned out like garlic bossam and green onion bossam.
You~~~~ I enjoyed eating the radish. It was so delicious because I wrapped it with the ssam (ssam) you gave me and the perilla leaves and jalapenos I had at home.^^
It was the happiest lunch I've had in a long time. I was impressed haha. Isn't garlic bossam the only flavor you get at Mr. Bossam? I haven't seen it anywhere else yet. I recommend it.
I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture haha.“

“Perfect small restaurant with delicious Thai food, easy parking nearby, great prices & portions! Highly recommend the Tom Kah, Red Curry, and Thai tea. Inside you’ll find walls of signed celeb photos, pics of their food options, and decor.
Food came out in no time, hot, and portions were 💯🙌🏼 - check out the 0.5 pic! I’m vegetarian so it is amazing that the tofu and vegetable options were plentiful!
Service was incredible: friendly, efficient, and locally owned.
Will certainly be returning and recommending it as a regular spot for my friends.“

“Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

“This place is authentic. But this is not your average Korean restaurant. This places is for the adventurous: the daredevils who enjoy organ meat.
I got the soondae mix platter for $40 (so it's far from $22.99 shown on the menu here in Google). My friend paid ? But nowadays we are all paying the price for the covid-flation. So I want to focus more on food.
The amount and quality of food is great for the price. I can't say that there aren't better deals in K-town. But I won't go wrong here ??
I won't recommend this place to vegetarians.“

“I have been a regular customer of this restaurant for 3 years, eating only kimchi sujebi.
I'm posting this because I saw the malicious comments and felt like they were ignoring my favorite restaurant, Kimchi Sujebi.
I eat this soft sujebi in a rich soup because it's refreshing on the inside, and it's the best kimchi sujebi I've had in LA.“

“Nong La has a dedicated Canto Viet man diligently directing the back of the house day in and day out, making sure the food hits their level of comfortable consistent cuisine, which won’t exactly blow minds or taste buds, but fills an exotic unfamiliar question mark into a manageable modern meal. But there’s this really Skinny Canto Viet lady bossing a bunch of diverse ppl around… she’s kinda scary at times and fiery at times… I suspect Nong La (Nong La means Burning) was named after the hot heat came from her own… hot… …..!😉🤓🔥🥵)“

“what a great find! This is some of the best Korean food we’ve had in a long time. The restaurant offers family-style dining with a great selection of soups and a clean, inviting atmosphere. Unlike many Americanized Korean restaurants where the food can be overly sweet or oily, the dishes here are perfectly balanced—flavorful without being too salty or sweet. We’re so glad we discovered this place and will definitely be coming back!“

“Really excellent soon tofu and bulgogi, and their banchan is delicious. They were extremely busy and there was a wait on the weekend, but they were also clearing tables really fast and going through the wait list really quickly.
The guy taking parties back and acting as host at the front also came up and took our orders very quickly, so we went from putting our name on the list, to waiting, to seated, to having drinks and banchan in front of us within probably 10 minutes, it was pretty impressive. At the same time, he was also very friendly and welcoming, we didn't feel rushed at all.
Would definitely recommend if you like tofu soup!“

“One of my favorite k-bbq place. The side dishes and food are so delicious. It's good to eat when the group comes, and the meat is served once in advance before it is served. So if you cook the meat a little more and eat it, you can eat it quickly. Iced Kimchi noodles are so good.“

“Let's be real, sometimes restaurant names escape me. But when my wife says "Korean soup place with all the Korean senior citizens," I instantly remember she means Tofu Village in Gardena.
Here's the thing: if you walk into a Korean restaurant and it's filled with Korean senior citizens, you know the food is legit. And Tofu Village? It's always bustling with them, which is a testament to the authentic, soul-warming dishes they serve.
Their specialty is Soon Tofu, and it's honestly the best value on the menu. A bubbling hot stone bowl filled with flavorful broth, silky tofu, and your choice of protein (I'm a beef guy, through and through)? It's pure comfort food.
But the real star of the show, in my opinion, is the banchan. Those unlimited vegetable side dishes? They're a feast in themselves! Fresh, flavorful, and constantly refilled. And even when you order to go, they don't skimp. They pack up little aluminum foil containers with the best of the bunch, which is a thoughtful touch.
Tofu Village isn't fancy, and it doesn't need to be. It's authentic, delicious, and makes you feel good from the inside out. It's a 5-star experience, and I'll keep coming back for that warm, comforting bowl of Soon Tofu. And those banchan, of course!“

“The best lobster roll I have ever had. The lobster is so fresh and abundant on the sandwiches. The brioche roll is scrumptious too and perfectly compliments the lobster. “A nice restaurant for Korean comfort food. The bibimbap was good. It feels less Americanized than most restaurants, which was a good thing. We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn’t have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. Overall, the taste was good.“

The food was good - the four stars is only because it's, you know, Olive Garden, but it is exactly what you would expect walking in. Salad/breadsticks as good as ever, and the place was PACKED! Thank you to the staff and the fellow customers who were all friendly. LA is now a vacation spot of mine.
