“I had the opportunity to visit this Michelin-starred restaurant specializing in noodles, and I must say that the experience was overall very positive.

The house specialty, the beef noodles, were truly delicious. The meat was incredibly soft and rich, making it the highlight of the meal.

However, I felt that the broth that accompanied the noodles could have had a little more flavor. Although it was clear that a lot of care had gone into its preparation, it seemed a bit neutral to me.

Overall, I give it a rating of 8/10. Although it was not a perfect experience, the quality of the meat and the presentation of the dishes were more than enough to make up for the small deficiencies. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any noodle and beef lover.“

“Had lunch at Jade Wok near Chinatown and honestly, it hit the spot. The standout for me was definitely the sweet and savory spareribs. They’re sticky, flavorful, and perfectly tender with just a bit of chew. Exactly how you want Chinese-style spareribs to be. The glaze is rich and garlicky with a nice hint of sweetness, and the green onions and sesame seeds on top gave it a nice little pop.

We also got the stir-fried greens, which were super simple but fresh and cooked just right. A little crunch, a little tenderness + great as a balance to the heavier dishes.

Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "You give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree.So If I had a say on this portal, I would offer just to see the ratings of my friends. I can't get over these egg noodles in this wonton mein! seems like most places serve it up clumped together and you need to split your chopsticks to break them apart - BUT NOT HERE. they are silky and bouncy! and the soup is nicely flavored, enhancing everything in the dish. you also get four big wontons filled with plump shrimp and pork. I also love their hainan chicken, well seasoned, and the filet mignon has a nice kick.

Nice selection of traditional asian dessert options in individual serving sides (tofu pudding with ginger syrup, "che thai", ube tofu, etc.) and they also sell their wontons/dumplings frozen + noodles in packages.

If you come to this place with a group, there is a mandatory tip so don't get surprised by that (it will be included in your check).

I got various items from the menu, some of the highlights were the garlic and shrimp fried rice and the Chinese sausage fried rice.

The service was great and included tea. My party kept drinking hot tea and the waitress was always on top of it and refilling it. Even when we finished our meal and we were just chatting amongst each other, the waitress still offered tea, it was a very nice gesture and made us feel welcome to stay more.

Pending on how much you eat, I recommend getting the number of plates = the number of people in your party. If you cannot finish everything, they offer boxes to take out the rest of your food. I recommend dining in, it is clean and spacious.

The only bad thing is that some members of my party went to the bathroom and it was not clean, one of them even said that it ruins part of the experience. For the owner: Please clean the restroom, it would have been a perfect experience.“

“I googled "best Chinese in LA" and then this popped up as the #1 place. So we drove - and had a very good meal. However, if you expect the classic Chinese dishes, you will be disappointed. This is Shezuan, "a different animal". So no rice, no sweet-and-sour-this-and-that. So be prepared for very spicy Szechuan food. Noodles. No rice. Try the dumplings, they were delicious. We ordered mild (1 out of 5 spice degrees) and we were burning inside (we had two separate orders of dumplings - but spice grade 1. There is no consistency, so be careful). So if spicy is what you are "in" for, you'll love it. The ambiance is sort of authentic ;-) - the sign on how to use the toilet (outside the restaurant in the alley) says more than words. But then, it was $100 all-in for the four of us only. My advice: I could barely understand the service language. Better check the menu before you go. As we were first-timers, I wanted to share three starters and three mains among the four of us and leave it up to the waitress to make us explore - she did not understand. I asked if they served beer. The answer was "noodles or dumplings". :-)“
