“Delicious, high-quality Indian food that preserves the authentic flavors of North Indian cuisine without overwhelming heat. The dishes are well balanced and thoughtfully prepared.

I tried the brunch thali which was generous, good variety of dishes, and very filling. The chaat starters were excellent, and the biryani is a must-order! deeply flavorful and aromatic. Haven’t tasted such a delicious biryani in a long time. Easily one of the better-quality Indian restaurants in this area.

The ambiance is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with outdoor seating available. Service is polite and friendly. Overall, very good value for money.“

“We stopped there on our way to catch our flight at SF airport. We were short on time and we placed our order. Our server was fantastic helping us to order and we were served our dinner promptly. There was a feeling that all the staff worked together as a team, looking after all the tables not just their own station. That is a sign of true teamwork. We really enjoyed our dinner there. “We recently discovered a new local Indian restaurant in our neighborhood, located near Safeway in Pacifica. We tried the goat biryani, chicken curry, and garlic naan, and all dishes were exceptionally flavorful and well-prepared. You might want to customize the spice level; while the restaurant's dishes are milder than other places, they still offer a satisfying heat suitable for those sensitive to spiciness. The portion sizes could be slightly larger to better match the typical serving sizes at similar Indian restaurants in the area, especially considering the price point. The service staff is attentive; they check on your table frequently and ensure a pleasant dining experience. However, adding a selection of imported Indian beers, such as Kingfisher or Taj Mahal, could enhance the authenticity and provide more beverage options for customers. The restaurant features a casual ambiance with a quiet atmosphere, spacious tables, and comfortable seating. I plan to continue supporting this establishment as one of the most authentic local Indian restaurants in Pacifica.“

“Been eating here basically since it opened. Used to be another Indian place that I frequented but when Tilak took over, the food took a leap up.

It's still one of the best Indian restaurants in the city. Easily. Everything is so good and flavorful... from basics like dahl and butter chicken to more unusual dishes like masala lamb racks and goan prawns. If something on the menu looks a bit unusual, that you don't recognize from other Indian places, I recommend going for it.

Tilak himself and the rest of the staff are friendly and awesome, but the food... Just great stuff all the way down the menu.

So, yeah, easily my favorite Indian place in SF and the place we've been doing our company holiday dinner for the last five or six years.“

The place is amazing with variety of Indian food options, place is also cozy and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Coming from
Canada and finding a comfort Indian food, we came across this place and thought to give it a try and our first experience on first day of trip made us come back on the last day of trip too.

Their veggie biryani was everything, their curries were delicious too and the Mango lassi was yummmm 😋

The staff, specially Arjun and Arun were the most amicable and friendly. They provided good suggestions for the food to eat and places to visit as well. Their service was also excellent leaving our experience as memorable as possible.

Will definitely recommend this place for a good, friendly , comfortable qnd welcoming experience for anyone visiting in and around the area.

“If definitely satisfied the craving for indian food. My boyfriend and i have nut allergies and the staff was very attentive and made sure there would be no cross contamination. The chicken vindaloo was great paired with the garlic naan and the complimentary rice they serve you. The chana masala was decent but not my favorite that i’ve tried. “Outstanding Indian food in a casual and cozy location. The food here is probably the best Indian food I've had anywhere. We had the Butter Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo with garlic naan. Both dishes were authentic tasting and superbly prepared. Neither dish was overpowering in spices or heat. You could tell fresh spices, seasonings and ingredients were used. Servings were ample too.“

“My sister and I came here yesterday to celebrate our birthday lunch and had such a lovely experience. Our server, a very kind older gentleman, was incredibly attentive and kept checking in on us. He was also so accommodating with my 12 month old baby.

The food was excellent! the butter chicken was very tasty and tender, the fish pakora was delicious and baby approved!, the rogan josh lamb was full of flavor, and the garlic naan was so fresh. At the end of our meal he even surprised us with complimentary gulab jamuns for our birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Just tried the falafel plate at **Halal Shop San Francisco** and OMG — it’s next-level delicious! 😍 The falafels were perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and that creamy white sauce with the spicy red drizzle took it to another dimension 🔥🔥🔥! The rice was fluffy, the salad was super fresh, and the whole plate looked like a piece of art 😋💚

The vibes were great, service was fast, and everything tasted 100% fresh and halal 🕌✨

“Dosa Express was amazing! The owner was friendly and the service was great. We came in for breakfast, and the food was so tasty and reminded us of Kurnool-style flavors that we ended up ordering takeout too. The ghee podi idli was the best I’ve had (even better than Mylapore in Sunnyvale). We also took Gongura rice and Coconut rice to go, and both were delicious. Highly recommend!“
