We sat in the patio and we had lots of space and it was quiet enough where we had a great meal. The service was great. David our server was prompt, very polite and make some great recommendations. All of them were great but I was most impressed by the tteokbokki!We followed with the short ribs and the basque cheesecake dessert. They were good but the appetizers were more impressive. Although it is in San Jose downtown which is a rough area but San Pedro Square stands out.They have multiple food options, various cuisines from different countries, coffee shop, bars, a small shop etc. Everything is self service.Tons of seating options both indoor and outdoor.Also they have quite a few security guards near outdoor seating area for your peace of mind.I always love the vibe of this place. “Really great oak cabinetry around the bar. You can tell it's very old school and not like antique to where it's noticeably older. “The quick on this place. Service is great. Their staff is attentive and provides a delightful experience. Sushi is good but the other half of the menu, I am not too sure about. I love Peruvian food, I also Love Japanese food, this should be a great combination but i feel it's not for me. Such as the Sweet Potato on the menu. It could have been more crispy and the dousing of sauce on it was just too much. Perhaps just offer it on the side and let people dip it. Cocktails were fine, high end hotel elegance and simple. Beer selection on draft was horrible. With so many breweries in the area all the beers were typical stuff i could from a bar that has no interest in beers. This needs a huge improvement.“

It's got a pool table in the back. There's a little stage for local talents. The owner is super cool. He completely supports local entertainment and arts. He's really easy to work with. The bar keeps are all chill and easy to get along with. Tiffani is so sweet and has such a good heart. Dan has been so helpful and has gone out of his way to make the experience here. “Came in on a Tuesday morning a few minutes after they had opened . We were greeted right away & were able to order quickly once seated - The decor is so cute & modern. I had ordered #25 bun bo hue & my mother had ordered #20 rib bone phone along side with some fried rice (#34) . Everything was excellent, the meat was so tender & the broth had such a great umami flavor to it that it was damn near addicting which made every bite bursting with flavor . During Christmas, they introduced some festive variations on the drinks, and they were delicious! The music is always lively, mostly playing hip-hop. The venue tends to get quite crowded, probably because it's on the smaller side. The crowd mainly consists of young Asian Americans and ABGs (if you know what I mean).“

The food was flavorful, the fish was fried perfectly, it was not over cooked like other spots. The fish itself was fluffy and soft. It also came with some coleslaw as well. The cocktail was good. “Went for the weekend to San Jose to watch the 49ers game and we decided to pick Javi's as our bar for the night. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We can tell everybody there were regulars, but no one treat it us like outsiders. We had a blast we got to talk and laugh with some regulars. We had so much fun that We forgot our credit card. Lisa went out and beyond to contact me to let me know. I already thought she a was wonderful bartender but she blew my expectations. We definitely want to go back when ever we are in San Jose. This one had a good list of choices and their dishes were pretty big except the chicken wings which always seem to always take the longest to cook.The garlic wings were good but some pieces so tiny that they should not count towards the fifteen pieces. The seafood pancake was good flavor and good size. I really liked the kimchi fried rice, spicy pork and Premium LA Kalbi. The Steamed Egg had no flavor and it had too much soup in it which I thought was weird. We ordered sodas and their Lychee Cocktail for twenty bucks which was a carafe pitcher size. It was pretty good and strong; nothing fancy. We also ordered Bibimap which was pretty big.Choice this Korean restaurant for mom's bday and was satisfied. The prices were on the expensive side. Not a place for a date as it's loud here but good for groups and drinking. Service is ok. They forgot one of our items but at least, they didn't charge us; we did have a big group though. Haha they even told us politely that we had to go as they had awaiting customers. The place is small, and can get crowded fast so I recommend to come early but lots of parking available.“

“OH MY GOD. This food is to die for. I have had tons of dishes and all are good, but my favorites are the eggplant (and I normally don’t like eggplant!), meatballs, and falafel. I also love the Brussels sprouts, and the artichoke flatbread. I recommend getting a few small items and splitting. So good. And the BAKLAVA! It is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Like no baklava I’ve ever tasted. It’s magical.“

“Still at the restaurant celebrating my granddaughters 17th birthday. Haven't been to Scott's in years. Very glad we came tonight. My petrale sole was so delicious. The sauce was perfection. Literally everything on my plate, petrale sole, french fries and vegetables, was cooked perfectly. We are a party of 9 and the delivery of food was spot on. Our waiter, Christopher, has been awesome. Can't imagine how it could have been better.“
