“We chose Caruso's for a special anniversary dinner and it met all of our expectations. The service, the food and the atmosphere were simply wonderful. It is pricey but worth the money for an extraordinary dining experience. We also very much enjoyed the piano music which was introduced the night we attended. It added greatly to the atmosphere.“

“An iconic place well known locally as one of our finest restaurants. Its a steak place so have never had anything but steak here and it does not disappoint. Started with french onion soup and ended with the Grand Marnier souffle which was amazing- I always get it every time we dine here. Steaks are usually hot and cooked to perfection and service is plenty and attentive. Highly recommend.“

We had the grilled calamari which was unlike any calamari we’ve ever had. We also got sea bass special with lemon and capers and the cioppino.“

I ordered the ranchero breakfast plate and my husband ordered the carnita tacos quick plate. Both had very large protions and came with a small soup and salad. We were so full and neither of us could clear our plates. With both meals, drinks, and a tip we spent about $40 which we found appropriate. Staff were very kind and attentive and the business helps the community. Overall, we felt like we were visiting family or long time friends. 10 out of 10“

And the thinly-sliced tomato salad was the perfect starter. We brought our own wine, but their in-house selection is outstanding. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Our waiter, Dominic, was professional and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a two and a half hour anniversary dinner in a lovely outdoor setting and will definitely revisit when we're back in Santa Barbara! The amazing menu doesn’t necessarily lend itself to picky kid eaters (my son) but he loved the catch of the day with the sauce on the side. The food took a while as they were pretty busy so the manager comp’d 2 desserts which were both spectacular! We will be back!!“

Parking: Parking is in the underground garage. Always get a space for lunch. Not sure about dinner.“

It was eight of us yesterday and we get to try many different tapas and everything was amazingly delicious.
It’s not our first time to dine there and the experience is always more than satisfying.

“This place is AMAZING! It was one of those places where you cannot believe it is gluten free so you keep asking if everything is Gluten free. Even my non-gluten free friends were extremely impressed. I have a wheat allergy so I asked them what kind of gluten free flour they use, and they do use a mix of potato and rice flours/Starches. They do have vegan options for those with other food intolerances. I’ll say, I had the best toasted ham and Swiss sandwich, on top of all the desserts. I’ve been in Santa Barbara for 2 days and I’ve already been there 3 times! The vibes of the bakery are also super cute. The atmosphere ties the whole experience together.“
