“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. The "award winning" fish and chips were great! Calamari too. Great food, generous portions & good view of our boats. Staff was fun too. Cheers!“

“Great poke near SFO! About $20 for a huge bowl with 5 kinds of sashimi — perfect for anyone trying to eat light but stay full. I picked tuna, salmon, octopus, scallops, and another fish, with brown rice, veggies, and spicy mayo. Super fresh and filling until the end of the workday.

Ordering is easy — you just check boxes on the menu, no need for much talking (introvert-friendly ✅). The place is clean and casual, great for a quick healthy lunch.

They also have curry chicken katsu (crispy and delicious), sushi, ramen, and takoyaki. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!“

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. We will come back because it was such a nice treat. One of those places that makes me love living in California!“

“Parking: free parking, but very busy over the weekend.

I have seen many locations across the bay area.

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

“I had an exceptional dining experience at Evangelian Cuisine! The seafood was unbelievably fresh and flavorful—truly some of the best I’ve ever had. We ordered the paella and fish and chips, and both dishes were outstanding.

Our waiter, Adolfo, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the ingredients in the dishes we ordered and the wines they offer. He recommended the Albariño Eleusis, which turned out to be one of the best white wines I’ve ever tasted! Adolfo was polite, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

“We visited Flying Fish during the Pumpkin Festival weekend. Even with the crowds and hectic parking situation, our party of 10 was seated right away. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.

We ordered a variety of dishes — calamari, fish and chips, clam chowder (both in a bread bowl and in a regular bowl), and the seafood cioppino. Everything was delicious! My favorites were the fish and chips and the calamari. Portions were great, the food came out fresh, and the flavors were spot on.

“So far I get takeout here as the seating is limited. Their food is delicious and I like the takeout because they use the paperboard containers and a sturdy paper bag. Hot food in plastic is harmful. Their portions and prices are fair and the sesame balls are amazing.“

Our server, Betty (i think) made sure to keep bringing us fresh biscuits while we waited on our food. Betty was exceptionally sweet. I think we were her last table but she went out of her way to be nice to us. One of my friends had a togo order and she waited to make sure the burger got to us before she left her shift. she was so genuinely gracious, pleasant and accommodating We all hope she is working the next time we are in. she’s a great server.❤️ we’re already planning our next trip“

“In The Bay, regardless of what type of cuisine, we have SO MANY options! I've probably patronized over 25 pupusarias in the last 10 years, but this joint is hands-down the absolute BEST! The pork and cheese pupusas were absolutely PERFECT! Fresh ingredients, cooked evenly where the filling was moist with bustling flavors and the outside was nice and crispy. Also ordered the enchiladas verde which, too, was spot-on.

“This place serves authentic cuisine with delicious options. The dungeness crab in garlic and butter sauce was amazing. All the side dishes that come with it were tasty with my favorite being the garlic noodles. Mango and Coconut ice cream at the end was the perfect touch. “A no-frills place for authentic comfort Chinese (and a few other non-Chinese but still Asian) dishes that is very convenient for those arriving late at SFO airport (they open past midnight). Walking distance to a few hotels or to a bus stop along El Camino Real, which passes several hotels in the area. I ordered the beef rib pho and fried oysters. I was satisfied with my meal and the beef rib was tender and flavorful. If ever I arrive in SF late at night on another trip, I won't hesitate to eat at this restaurant again.“

The owner was there and made us feel very welcome. Had great suggestions for meal choices and definitely hit the mark. Food was outstanding! Pricing was pretty much in line with what was expected for the quality and the location. Would definitely consider going back if the opportunity presents itself.“

“Really good Chinese BBQ place. All of the bread items we tried were flaky and tasty, highly recommend the brown sugar one. The skewers were all solid, and I appreciated that the beef had a more teriyaki-style flavor, because too much cumin starts to get a bit sameish. In that regard, you should consider getting an order of the lettuce leaves to use as a wrap for the skewers, it's a great palette cleanser and adds some nice texture.

Would love to go again, but it's a bit far from my house and Chinese BBQ isn't something you can do too frequently.“

“Joe’s has a down to earth family run diner feel. The kind of place that Gordon Ramsay would feature on a Kitchen Nightmares episode. Except this place isn’t as dysfunctional as the ones he visits on the show. Menu has a large selection of comfort food. Food is decent and portions are good. Only thing missing was flavor. Clam chowder wasn’t over salty - good, but it was too bland. What’s described as chicken scaloppine had no capers so it was more chicken Marsala with the brown sauce. That Marsala sauce too, was bland. Presentation could be better. Pool of gravy on side of mashed potatoes looked silly. I expect that from a Southern country diner, but not a West Coast eatery just down the road from Ritz Carlton. The sourdough with olive oil and pesto was my favorite thing to eat. Wait staff was friendly and always attentive. Overall, this is worth stopping in for a meal. We will try breakfast or lunch another time.“
