Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!”

“We had a tasting experience with Samantha and had a wonderful time. We are experienced wine lovers, and have been to many tastings around the world but this one definitely stands out not only for the fabulous wines, but for the expertise of our guide. She was extremely knowledgable about not only the area and the wines themselves, but educated us on the surrounding areas and the different terroir, which makes each wine area in Napa very unique. She taught us a lot of things that we didn’t know yet, and was very warm and genuine the entire time. We’ve been to some tastings in the area that are not this well organized and thorough, so we appreciated Samantha going the extra mile.

The wines were excellent and their different varieties of different years of Cabernets tasted together made this winery very unique.

This winery is a family run business, and we learned that one of the sons who works there full-time is also a builder by trade - who was responsible for the amazing interiors and high-end design finishes in the tasting room and the outdoor terrace. This place would be perfect for a higher end event!

“O’Brien Estate was absolutely beautiful, especially near sunset. The hills were covered in blooming mustard greens, creating the most stunning backdrop. Arriving in the early evening made the experience even better—the golden light was unreal. Feeding the goats was such a fun and memorable touch and added to the charm of the property. A peaceful, scenic winery with incredible views and a unique, welcoming atmosphere. Heath was a fantastic host! Do not miss this place while visiting Napa.”

What really stood out was the atmosphere and service. Sitting outside by the water with a glass of wine made it feel like a true Napa experience, and the staff was friendly without being overbearing. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a nice dinner as it does for a laid-back evening after a day of wine tasting. Definitely one of those spots I’d come back to next time in Napa.”

“This is the best steakhouse in Napa and it's not even close. You'll love the courteous staff service. The ambiance is amazing. I came during dinner time and while it was raining. So, I didn't sit outside. I took a seat at the bar. I waited for my friend Ray. Apparently everyone there knows him, so I got the VIP treatment. I started the same as I always do at a new place: Clam chowder and an old fashioned. This was a top clam chowder... EVER. I've been all over the US and to 17 countries. This was so good. The prevention was very good for a soup. The old fashioned was very tasty with the perfect amount of sweetness, but still plenty strong. I ordered a poke salad (which isnt on the menu), along with a Rose wine. I dont care whats in season or not, I just love a good crisp Rose and this one was absolutely marvelous. The pour size was average. This poke salad is something of legend apparently. They only serve it when there's fresh ingredients. So dont be disappointed if they dont have it upon your visit. It was dark, so the pictures didnt do it justice. Finally, I had the duck confit flatbread: Caramelized Onion ~ Pt. Reyes Blue Cheese ~ Red D'Anjou Pear. This was a masterpiece of flavors in your mouth. I couldn't even finish it. I could tell it came from a wood fired oven and personally turned by the executive chef Marcos. He came out to our bar area to check on us. This is an amazing hidden gem just 7 minutes from Downtown Napa. It's the kind of place that should be in the Michelin guide. Parking - 5/5 time to be served - 5/5 time to be acknowledged - 5/5 quality - 5/5 return value - 5/5 I didnt find any areas of improvement, but I also didnt go to the bathroom like I normally do for all my reviews. I'll check next visit.”

“The place is simple, but the decor is beautiful, also in a simple way. Don’t expect sophistication. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Good food doesn’t always come from the most elegant restaurant. We ordered three options from the menu, all vegan. My husband is vegetarian, I am vegan, and everything was delicious and exactly as we requested. The deep-fried dish was my favorite. I could eat that every day. It was on another level. Especially the sauce, which I think was tamarind. The flavor was so rich. The wine was also good. I thought it was a very delicate and thoughtful touch that the glasses were personalized with the restaurant’s name. I also really liked the service, very attentive and friendly. I found the decoration with fresh flowers on the table beautiful—real flowers, not synthetic or artificial. My husband and I spent about an hour here. It was very satisfying, and I plan to come back next time I visit Napa.”

My friends and I had a lovely time on the 4 course tea train for my birthday. It was all of our first times ever riding the wine train and we enjoyed it, however for the price you pay, you really don’t get your moneys worth (soup, salad, finger/cucumber sandwiches, desserts)and we didn’t even stop to get off the train. Also there really isn’t much to look at fields, a couple stores, construction sites, trailer parks, and few wineries). It’s definitely OVERPRICED! I would do it again if it becomes cheaper though. Maybe offer unlimited wine along with the tea, better food, and something for people celebrating their birthdays. I’m so happy my cousin bought along decorations (vines, rose pedals, 36 lights) to make our area extra cute !!!”

We were greeted with smiles and that was nice. James and Kevin took us in even though we did not have a reservation.

After all that, we purchased 12 bottles and became members. An excellent experience.

“Dear Jack in the Box on Trancas Ave in Napa, We had a terrible earthquake this morning. Hours later, when it was finally light, my daughter and I looked at our trashed home, we decided we needed food and coffee before we could begin the clean up. We had no power and decided to drive somewhere, anywhere, to find food and coffee. The problem was that the power outage and damage extended far beyond our neighborhood, but throughout the city of Napa. Every store, gas station, retailer was closed, many blocked off with yellow security tape. Then, I spotted your restaurant...open...and turned in. A Jack in the Box employee was letting the people in the line of cars know, they only had coffee. For no charge, with cream and sugar and a smile! Your business was damaged too, and in the middle of clean up. Whoever had the idea to provide this service, is my hero for the day! Thank you so much. Katrena Edman”

Apparently as of Friday, two days before, they had switched to a fixed menu only of multiple courses. While they had sides, they wouldn't let us order them. Since we were fairly full, we said, we'd just split the fixed menu, but they wouldn't allow that either! A transition period? Notification that things have changed? Some level of customer service given they had just changed the way they functioned? Nope. We had to leave.”

Went today with a friend who has major food allergies. They were able to accommodate all of her requests. Remove feta, remove ham, what is the salad dressing made of?…
I ordered a small tuna salad sandwich, and the freshness was amazing!! The bread was warm and the tuna salad tasted as it was just made for me. It cannot get fresher than that.

“I had Squirrel McFly with me because I told Haggis Lungeater that I'd have his horse stalls cleaned out for helping me set up the Rhoopelders thingie up on top my barn.
The Squirrel cried out about being hungry and wanted to go to the Taco La Michoacana Truck for the Chimichangas because they're the best! I told him okay, get as many as you want because he's only working for 10 bucks an hour anyway, he sets his own price and it always includes a lunch. The Chimichangas were pretty damn good and I highly recommend them. ☆☆☆☆☆”
