“A beautiful morning at Crystal Cove...7AM reservation at a table with great views of the ocean and our smiling server, Oscar, welcoming us with strong hot coffees & cream. Perfect. I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people. Oscar was very attentive and often stopped by with more hot coffee. It is a nice candlelight ambiance. Food was delicious. We had ordered the osso, branzino fish with plate, and the steak. It was all delicious. “Excellent food and wonderful service! My wife and I popped in here after a long bike ride, and we weren't disappointed. We shared the supreme breakfast burrito with venison and the waffles with fruit. The burrito was so good, the meat was cooked to perfection and the combination with the eggs and potatoes made it wonderful. And the waffles, oh my! “The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. “I used to live in the area and happened to find this gem of a restaurant when visiting. The food is excellent and affordable. I had the shrimp dish with rice and paneer garlic bread. Alex, who has served me many of times, wears a shirt with sign language on it, which really touched my heart. He didn't know I was deaf, but the gesture really touched me. Paige took my order today, and what I've noticed about her is that she's ALWAYS smiling. Actually, they all always greet the customers with a smile. Those giving one star must stay angry all the time, because this place is top notch. This is UC Irvine 35. Let me say this. The place is so popular that by noon, it's packed. They have Uber Eats workers, Door Dash carrying dozens of orders out. So many orders that the Uber Eats worker needs a buggy. I pause and take my lunch early to avoid the lunch crowd, and they STILL get the orders out fast.

P.S. someone put in their bad review that Luna grill was out of water cups and that they only received a small portion of the chicken. Look over the rice. Look at the rice where the trail of chicken ends. You can tell there was chicken sitting on top of that rice. Try again.“

We have received their chips and salsa, and it is one of the best salsas I've ever had because it reminded me of Chevys' salsa but slightly sweeter. For those of you who know what place I'm talking about, it is the Chevys that used to be in Anaheim on Santa Ana Canyon Road before the restaurant El Cholo took over. As for my boyfriend he got the Green Sauce Enchilada and he thought it was okay so I decided to try it and I didn't like it at all. The reason why the enchilada didn't taste appealing to me is because it had cumin seasoning in it. I think if they removed the seasoning, the enchiladas would taste a lot better, in my opinion. Also, I almost forgot that I also had their matcha latte, which was good.The matcha latte was good because they let me make it slightly sweeter that way the matcha wouldn't be too bitter and it wasn't which I liked. 🍵For dessert, my boyfriend and I ordered the flan, and it tasted really good. I was also happy that my boyfriend enjoyed it, so we would definitely order that again. Last but not least, the customer service was great, and I'm glad there are still some people who try hard to give the best customer service. So my boyfriend and I will definitely come back for the chips and salsa and the flan.Also, a warning for people just trying this place for the first time: I recommend that you bring a smaller party since this place isn't too big. 😊“

“Went for lunch with reservation. Server was attentive, knowledgeable on menu and friendly. Everything came out timely from appetizers, to main course, but desert seemed to take a little longer. Shared PESTO CHICKEN AND FRESH MOZZARELLA FLATBREAD, PHILLY CHEESESTEAK FLATBREAD & CHARCUTERIE BOARD. I didn't try charcuterie which looked good, flat read was good but not to die for. Main course had the BRICK-OVEN ROASTED CHILEAN SEA BASS which was also very good, cooked excellent and left me satisfied but not full. Moved on to desert and couldn't decide on KEY LIME PIE (1 MINI) & BLUEBERRY AND LEMON (1 MINI) so got both - have to say I was surprised the key lime pie was not tart enough for liking and the pie crust crumbles fell as I scooped out of the dish with my spoon, the blueberry and lemon was excellent and highly recommended! I would return to this location for lunch or dinner, would love to have had a drink during happy hour to complement the meal.“
