“A beautiful morning at Crystal Cove...7AM reservation at a table with great views of the ocean and our smiling server, Oscar, welcoming us with strong hot coffees & cream. Perfect. I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people. Oscar was very attentive and often stopped by with more hot coffee. Delightful.“

“Wonderful Italian food. Our table was outside and the weather was absolutely perfect with a gentle breeze off the ocean. I'm a traditional spaghetti and meatballs guy, but my wife had an amazing dish with chicken, broccoli, and pine nuts over gluten free penne and seasoned to Perfection. A small loaf of Rosemary bread which we dipped in balsamic vinegar added to the deliciousness.“

“Haidilao Hot Pot was a very great place for dinner. The service was very quick, employees were patient and respectful. Our server Jacob asked to reopen their kitchen just to make us some dessert even though it was after hours. He also gave us a complimentary food option in case they weren't able to make the dessert for us. The service is unbelievably nice. I would come again for dinner.“

“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. This is easily the best indian food I've had in OC. Generous portions, hospitable attitude, and 'refillable' rice! Not too expensive either given the portion size, SO worth it. DONT WALK RUNNNN here!!! All the spice variants are so accessible from mild to medium to spicy- There's also indian spicy (the hottest level) which I got, and it was PROPERLY spicy. Mild was not spicy at all if you don't want that. Seriously though, fabulous place, workers, and owner. Lovely.“

The prices are just right for the quality of the food and ingredients. I would give it a 10 out of 10, and we will definitely be coming back.“

“I love this restaurant. It's has a warm and inviting ambience. It's a favorite go-to lunch place for friends or business meetings. I mostly go there for lunch but it is also is a good place to go before attending the theater across the the street. This is not fancy French or foodie dining. The dishes are simple but always flavorful, healthy and perfectly executed. I would say it's upscale, but not a pricey, fancy restaurant. It used to be that reservations were a must, but lately that doesn't seem to be the case unless it's holiday time.“

“We didnt have a reservation but got lucky we only had to wait 10 ish minutes and they called us. We really love the pizzas here and get the mushroom pizza with the spicy pepperoni (its both called something different on the menu but thats essentially what it is) and love to pair it off with nice wine selections.
It is mostly high top seating which isnt my favorite but its fine. It is sort of cramped in there but had space enough to get by tables. Its also kind of loud in there but from general speaking noise.“

“We found Avila’s El Ranchito on-line and decided to give it a try. We had about 45 minute wait so we knew it must be good. A little mix up in the list to be seated. There was another “David party of 2” that arrived AFTER we did but they jumped at the chance to be seated before us. The staff was very friendly. The portions were large enough that we shared a meal and were plenty satisfied. The food was very delicious. The salsa was not what you would call mild so for those with sensitive palates be aware! The atmosphere was loud inside but relatively quiet outside. We would dine at this restaurant again.“

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“Amazing and cute little restaurant. Three servers were like hawks (in a good way) and instantly on top of anything and extremely efficient. The food was great, the cheese bread with garlic and Tiramisu were especially notable. We paid under $80 (before tip) for two meals, drinks, the cheese bread side, and desert, and one of the meals was the special which included a salad for $30. Plenty of food, very good food, cute and efficient restaurant, and a great price (let alone for being in Irvine these days). 10/10 would eat at again.“
