“Vegan comfort food so good you'll tell everyone you know about it. My wife and I had meatloaf sandos because we haven't either of us had meatloaf in decades and we both liked it when we did eat meat. Scott's (hey Scott) meatloaf isn't like your traditional meatloaf with granules of ground beef. Instead, it is more the texture of a fine dice of beef, and man, it is mind-blowing good! I hear the Reuben will make you want to move to Oceanside. I'd love to see what this place could do with a tuna melt. The fries are superior and, well, they nailed it. Love the 60s/70s counter-culture vibe and, of course, the surf undertone (it's blocks from the waves). The service is what you would hope for and holds a soupcon of joy behind it. Scott is personable and you can see his heart is in the food and the restaurant. Finally...calling all meat eaters! This place is the place for you. I used to eat meat. I too know the dissatisfaction vegan food can bring. In short, I am not unsympathetic. You won't be dissatisfied here. I wouldn't be surprised if you returned and brought other people. I've tried all the meat substitutes and this isn't like that. They got hold of something here and it's really good.“

“I love how this small , family-owned business is located conveniently on Mission Ave. Great service and they have some pastries & vegan sweets too. They’ve got a nice seating that allows for people-watching and most importantly, they support other small bakeries & businesses by carrying their goods. The blue cheese burger was pretty tasty as well and I don't even like blue cheese like that. The monkey fries were good but not something I would order again. Almost thier spin on animal fries. I'll just order the jam burger twice instead. I got the lavender lemonade as well, had me feeling lovely, even tho I got burger juice all over the place. It's pricey for what I got, 2 burgers, one monkey fry, two drinks it was $50. I mean it's downtown so not a surprise, wish it was a wee bit cheaper because I can't be going broke out here for a delicious burger lol.“

“Smallish restaurant with tiny parking lot of about 10 spots shared between 3 businesses. Like the roll up garage door windows, lots of outdoor picnic bench seating under shade canopies (which we couldn't use on this rainy day). Beer selection is pretty good, we had the meat lovers 12 inch pizza and liked the thin crispy crust, a bit skimpy on the toppings but tasty enough.

Parking: I think 10 spots between 3 (?) businesses in this very small strip mini mall.“

We are back again this morning. Flat white and a delicious pumpkin cream cheese muffin for me, house drip and a delicious almond croissant for my hubby. The coffee is perfection here, no matter what is ordered. Jason carefully and thoughtfully asks enough questions to be able to make each drink to perfection. He even got the tiny bit of raw sugar in my flat white perfect. I’m so impressed. Be sure to find Camp Coffee and their awesome crew whenever you visit O’side. It’s a real treat.“

“On vacation staying at an Airbnb in Oceanside California. Went to Buccaneers for breakfast burritos to take back delicious. Bacon and egg and sausage and egg. It's a small shack off the road with a lot of people ordering, picking up and eating. And boy was it delicious. Big burritos could have split one but enjoyed it the next day for lunch 😋. There were 5 of us and everyone loved them,!“

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their beers!
I live in San Diego and often make the drive to Oceanside for this beer! Their Paloma seltzer is my partner's favorite and we buy cases at a time.
Their pizza is delicious. You can judge a pizza based on their basic cheese and it is making my mouth water as I type this! Their ranch is absolutely delicious too!
I love a place that has options or subs for vegetarians and they check that box too.
If you love beer and good food, definitely make this a stop on your list.“
