“Best Homemade Ice Cream ever!

I had the chance to experience Handels in San Diego. This was my first taste of Handels. Their homemade flavors were interesting and different while still being delicious.

I thought today, being a relatively hot day, would be a good time to try the Handels here in Palm Desert. I ordered the Banana Split. This can feed a family of four, or one really hungry person (that was me). I ordered it traditional, with chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice-creams. The bananas are sliced, which makes it easier to eat. Loved all the toppings (hot fudge, chopped cherries, crushed pineapple, strawberries and the chopped peanuts. And of course, the whipped cream and cherries on top! You can taste the ice-cream is homemade. Not only is it very flavorful, but also rich and creamy.

I liked that this location provides water misters on their patio, since it's only a walk up place. Very clean and a good amount of seating.

The staff are super friendly and the service was fast.

“Back for the second time and even more obsessed! This coffee shop is just the cutest. The pastries were so delicious, and the Sueno coffee completely blew me away with its orange and vanilla flavors—perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I would’ve never thought of this combo in a coffee, but it’s amazing! I’ll definitely be back for this. I think it’s my new favorite coffee flavor. I also tried the Calabaza coffee, filled with cozy pumpkin and fall spices—so delicious and comforting. The staff is so friendly and incredibly helpful with the menu, and it really adds to the experience. There were about 20 people in line ahead of me today, but it was totally worth the wait, and they still got the drinks out impressively fast. This place is truly a gem—I can’t wait to try more of their coffees and matchas! ✨☕🍊🍂💛“

“My favorite restaurant in the Coachella Valley, they maintain a calm and friendly atmosphere even during a lunch rush, the food is all of good quality and has never disappointed me. Many locals have been coming here for years and are pleasant to nod a head at. The Eggs Benedict with spinach on a crepe (potatoes provençales on the side) is my favorite order. May God bless and preserve their business and their employees.

“I was looking for things to try around town and found this place that boasts Date Shakes stating a must try while in town. I got one and it was good, not as thick as I was hoping but good flavor. However, on the sign I see they offer Mangonadas, one of my favorite drinks but also a Pinada; a Pineapple version with Dole whip. Now that is a must try. It's my new favorite drink. It's a great mix of sweet, sour and a bit of heat. Yummy. I also like the sprayers outside thir door to cool you off. A nice touch.“

“Here to rave about the massive ahi tuna stack I devoured here during happy hour. The fish was fresh and delicious. The hot wings were also huge and juicy with the perfect amount of crisp to them. Not a wiggly or overcooked chicken wing in sight. All staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful when it came to choosing the best from the menu. So many great options on the happy hour menu you cant go wrong“

He gave that a 7/10. I had the Pad Thai with 2 Shrimp and Chicken. unfortunately the sauce had a fishy flavor I don't recall it having before. And, the chicken looked good but was dry. 4/10. Service excellent and very pleasant. Our bill for 2 was $60 plus tip.“
