This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.“

“Raymond 1886 was a cute gem in Pasadena. The wait staff was excellent and even gave us free dessert for the birthday we were celebrating! The food was pretty good, but pricey. We ordered the ribeye and truffle pasta. The drinks were really delicious as well and they even make their own ice. The ambiance was nice, the patio had cute dim lighting which made us feel as if we were inside. It was fairly nosy outside, but we could all hear each other talk. Overall I recommend the Raymond for a nice date night“

“Ohhhhhhh so good. I think I met the owner behind the counter, making our lunch. He is making his Armenian grandmother (his tatik) proud. He loves his customers. This is both a catering kitchen and walk-up restaurant with a few tables.
Only three items on the restaurant menu. Got one of everything and split it. You can tell it’s all hand made. The dumplings are flavored perfectly, and maybe a bit of mint on top? On the herbaceous and acidic side, not sweet, but also richer and deeper than a meatball. Can get spicy or regular. Some of the dumplings have crunchy edges. Really unique and tasty. Need 100 more.
The cheesy layered bread was INCREDIBLE. Like. Fly across the country incredible. Flakey, salty, buttery. Melty. Chewy. Crisp. Perfect everywhere.
The salmon sandwich is generous and seasoned well, cooked well, and holds together well. Really really great and I want to go back already.“

“This place is delicious. The price for a breakfast burrito is relatively cheap. The salsa is also delicious. The staff is fun if you speak Spanish (which I do). I put 4 stars because of price, food taste, and the experience I had there. Even the restroom was clean. I would go back and eat there again hands down.

The only downside is the flies that fly around. They don't land on your food but they do just like to land on the table.“

Yesenia was our server and she was a 10/10 all-around super professional server from the moment we set fot in the establishment. The food itself is unmatched. I have been to their San Gabriel location at least 3 or 4 times and this place is just as good in terms of flavor and quality. The ambiance is great, the server even went as far as lowering the window blinds after some new customers walked in and they sat close to one of the windows. Tsukemen will forever remain as my favorite kind of Ramen (it's basically cold noodles that you dip in a hot and salty broth served in a small bowl on the side). One of the assistant managers offered to help me in how to eat it but I was already familiar with the concept, so I thanked her for her offer and proceeded to eat. The fried chicken is another ball game, it's literally Japanese fried chicken but they also add a touch of some sort of honey-based syrup that makes it 100 times better. The cinnamon roll is so freaking glorious. You must think who the heck is paying $9 for a cinnamon roll. This cheapo foodie will be going forward. With one bite, you will realize Wake & Bake's cinnamon roll isn't ordinary but it's a croissant cinnamon roll. It is layers of buttery goodness and perfectly sweet. This is something you hoard to yourself because you want it all. It's already a swirl of goodness of butter, sugar and cinnamon but add in that croissant factor, ahhhh the dream.

As I was describing my new love for the cinnamon roll croissant, Naomi the branch manager added to our conversation how all the ingredients are high quality and how long it took their team to perfect their new croissant. I was impressed. It's $9 and yeah $9 of PERFECTION.“
